Chapter 900: Doing Buddha Deeds (3)

At this point, I would like to make an important point, the Vimala Sutra speaks of cause in terms of effect in Buddhism.

The Buddhas who have already attained enlightenment, like Vimala (the emanation of the Golden Su Nyorai), have come to this world and are flesh and blood like us, and they also have the phenomena of birth, old age, sickness and death.

In the teachings, there are many incredible realms, such as the abbot's room accommodating tens of thousands of people, and borrowing a master's seat for each person, and there are celestial maidens scattering flowers, changing the appearance of men and women at will, and even going to the world above to eat with the incense of the Buddha, and so on.

It's all about people who have attained the Dharma, and they have such incredible merits, wisdom, and abilities, and these are all things that are Buddha-fruited.

I talked about what it means to do Buddhahood. When it comes to doing Buddhist things, people usually think of finding a family member to chant sutras, or setting off a flame, or making a water and land dojo, or holding a mantra.

These are also things that are done for the sake of Buddhism, Buddhism.

There are too many true Buddha things that include the worldly Dharma and the worldly Dharma.

Don't be paranoid about one kind, as if some people only grasp and chant Amitabha, and the others are all foreign paths; Or those who study Tantra think that the Pure Land is not wise, and Zen Buddhism is arrogant; or those who engage in qigong and other ways of doing the Dharma look down on meditation; Or those who meditate look down on those who engage in qi pulses, and so on.

The Buddha told us that everything is the Dharma, and it depends on where your wisdom comes from.

The Vimala Sutra talks about so many Buddhist things, but if you compare it with the Huayan Sutra, the Vimala Sutra only talks about one percent. The "Huayan Sutra" talks too much, and even according to the "Huayan Sutra", the Buddha is sometimes called a fairy, a piglet, a god, and a god, all of which are pseudonyms, which is too great.

The following "Vimala Sutra" turns around, and begins to talk about the Buddha's land, which should be read as "degree", and I remind you again. What is Buddha Land? It is the realm of a Buddha. Those who cultivate the Pure Land make a wish to be reborn in the land of Amitabha Buddha in the Western Elysium, what does the land of Amitabha Buddha look like? The Amitabha Sutra tells us that the place is good, the ground is paved with diamonds, it is bright and flat, and the seven treasures are lined with trees, and so on. But you have to pay attention to the fact that all the good things mentioned in the Amitabha Sutra are not the ultimate Dharma, but only the best and best that we think in the world. The true beauty of the Buddha's land is beyond the comprehension of the concepts of the human world, but if the Buddha wants to introduce us to the goodness there, how can we say it? It seems that some countrymen have never seen gold in their lives, how can they say to him? He had to say that the gold was the same as the peel of an orange, so that he thought he knew, and he understood that the gold was the peel of an orange. Therefore, the Buddha used our worldly law to introduce, talking about gold, silver, glazed agate, etc., is the Elysium Chinese or Western? I don't know!

How did the Buddha land come to be? That is the result of the collective karma of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Our world is born of the collective karma of all sentient beings. I won't talk about the issue of common karma and other karma here, but I will talk about it in other courses. For example, if we talk about the Buddha of the Five Directions, in the middle is the Buddha Virujana, the Buddha of the Southern Baosheng, the Buddha of the Northern Buddha, the Buddha of Amitabha in the West, and the Medicine Buddha of the East. In the east, there are Buddhas, and there are many. In this regard, you have to look at one of the "Thousand Buddha Names Sutra" in the Tripitaka, which is very clear. To explain how Buddha Kamani introduced Amitabha Buddha's Buddha land, it is necessary to study the Lotus Sutra, the Great Treasure Sutra, the Sutra of Amitayus, the Sutra of Amitayus, the Sutra of Amitayus, and the Sutra of Amitabha.

I often tell jokes to people, I say that you are so sincere in reciting Amitabha, you really have no conscience! Amitabha Buddha was introduced to us by Shakyamuni Buddha, but every time you recite Amitabha Buddha, you don't recite Shakyamuni Buddha first, it is really a newcomer who enters the cave room, and the matchmaker throws it over the wall.
