Chapter 144: The Birth of the Six Ancestors (Part I)
A miracle happened, and the blood gushing out from the severed arm of the divine light stained the snowflakes fluttering in the air red, and stained the white snow!
"Master, look, look, it's snowing in the sky! It's really snowing! ”
Master Bodhidharma couldn't help but burst into tears. He didn't expect that Shenguang would cut off his arm in order to seek the Fa. He said very emotionally, "Yes, yes! When the Buddhas of the past generations first sought the Dharma, just like you now, they all forgot their bodies for the Dharma and sacrificed their lives for the Dharma. You have proved by your actions that you are fully qualified to continue the wisdom of the Buddha. ”
Since then, Shenguang has changed its name to Huike.
This Hui Ke broke an arm and trembled in pain, but he didn't say that he was in pain, but said, "Master, my heart is in pain, please rest assured for me." ”
It turned out that Hui Ke was asking Bodhidharma in disguise for the true meaning of Buddhism. Therefore, the heart he is talking about is not the heart of the meat ball in our usual sense, but our true heart, which although it is formless, can think, delusional, speak, distinguish sounds, gestures, and raise eyebrows...... Omnipresent, omnipotent. Buddhism's so-called clear mind, the three indistinguishable minds, Buddhas, and sentient beings, is talking about this heart.
Patriarch Bodhidharma heard Hui Ke's heartache and unease, his eyes were round, and he stretched out a big hand in front of him and shouted: "Take your heart, I will be safe for you!" ”
At the moment when Bodhidharma stretched out his hand in front of him, Hui Ke clearly felt that he was hit by an invisible but tangible force. He was stunned and amazed, as if he had realized something, but he couldn't say anything......
Bodhidharma's big hand was abrupt in front of him, and it stretched across the entire heaven and earth, and it seemed to radiate a faint red light. It kept asking Hui Ke: Take the heart, take the heart-come-
When we put our hearts into it, that sincerity is everywhere and omnipotent, but after using it, it disappears without a trace, without form. With such a heart, where can Hui Ke go to find it? Hui Ke was stunned for a long time, and muttered, "Master, you asked me to bring my heart, but where is my heart?" I can't find it! ”
"Peace of mind for you!"
Bodhidharma roared. His roar, like a thunderbolt from the sky, exploded in front of Hui Ke's door, suddenly shattering his thoughts. Yes, since you can't find your heart, why do you still have a heartache? Since your heart is empty, what are you going to do?
If you can't find your heart, you can feel at ease!
The fog cleared and the sun shone brightly. Hui Ke is self-natureTanaka Hui is in the sky, and the silence shines in all directions. He was enlightened.
Flowers bloom and fall in spring and autumn.
One day, Patriarch Bodhidharma said to Hui Ke: "I will pass away, and now, I will officially teach you the four volumes of the Ranga Sutra and the robe." You are the second ancestor of Dongtu, and you should know the weight of the burden on your shoulders. Dongtu Zen lamp, rely on you to continue. ”
Hui Ke stood solemnly, and the Bodhidharma patriarch made a cloud:
I was originally in the soil, preaching the Dharma to save the fascination;
One flower blooms five leaves, and the fruit is natural.
"That's the origin of Zen." After Zhang Cambodia finished talking about the origin of Zen in one breath, he turned to Du Fu, "If something is wrong, please correct the great writer." ”
Du Fu rubbed his hands together and said, "How dare the younger generation curse the class to get an axe, the adults are too brilliant!"
...................................................................................................................
After Zhang Cambodia finished talking about the origin of Zen, how did Zen Buddhism have a long history?
......
Along the Pearl River estuary where Master Bodhidharma arrived in China, tracing the river upstream, to Zhaoqing, there is a tributary rushing from the southwest, called Xinjiang. In the middle and upper reaches of the new river, a big mountain twists and turns, the peaks are towering, the rock wall is steep, winding for 50 miles, like a dragon, lying on the riverside. Therefore, the locals call it Yongsan.
The mountain is located opposite Xialu Village in Lingnan New State. In the land of Zhong Ling, when someone is out of his kind, he is outstanding; The mountains and rivers are strange, and there are sages and saints who shine with the sun and the moon. The local people have always said that there is a dragon vein lurking in Longshan, and once the opportunity is ripe, a great emperor will be born from here.
Li Chunfeng, the former national teacher of the Tang Dynasty, was an astronomer and calendrician in the Tang Dynasty, a native of Yongzhou in Qizhou, and a former Taishi Ling in the early Tang Dynasty, who was an ancient Chinese scientist and historical and cultural celebrity. Li Chunfeng has been intelligent and studious since childhood, and is well-read, especially proficient in astronomy, calendar, mathematics, yin and yang, etc.
His father, Li Bo, served as a local official in the Sui Dynasty, "because of his humble rank, he abandoned his official position and became a Taoist priest." "Li Bo" is quite knowledgeable, self-named Huang Guanzi, annotated "Lao Tzu", wrote ten volumes of Fang Zhi Picture and Essay Collection, "and did "Astronomical Elephant Fu". Li Chunfeng, who was known as a "prodigy" since he was a child, under the influence of his father, read a lot of books, especially loved astronomy, geography, Taoism, yin and yang, and went to Nantuo Mountain in Henan Province at the age of 9 to worship Yuan Daochang as a teacher. At the age of 17, he returned to his hometown, and was recommended by Li Shimin's friend Liu Wenjing to become Li Shimin's adviser and participated in the anti-Sui Xingtang uprising. In 618, Li Yuan proclaimed the emperor Li Shimin as the king of Qin, and Li Chunfeng became the secretary of the palace of the king of Qin to join the army.
The calendar used in the early Tang Dynasty was the "Wuyin Yuan Calendar" compiled by Fu Renjun, which had certain defects, Li Chunfeng made a detailed study of it, put forward suggestions for revision, and Tang Taizong sent people to investigate and adopt some of his suggestions. In ancient times, the compilation of the calendar was a specialized science, and it was difficult for ordinary scholars to pay attention to it, but Li Chunfeng was only in his 20s when he proposed the revision of the "Wuyin Yuan Calendar", which naturally attracted people's attention. He was also praised for this, was awarded the General Shilang, and entered the Taishi Bureau, Li Chunfeng was like a fish in water, fully demonstrating his intelligence.
In 618, Li Yuan proclaimed the emperor Li Shimin as the king of Qin, and Li Chunfeng became the secretary of the palace of the king of Qin to join the army.
Li Chunfeng attracted the jealousy and framing of traitors because of his extreme intelligence and intelligence, and was expelled from the court.
On a clear moonlit night, he watched the sky at night, and suddenly found a white light rushing straight into the universe from the direction of Lingnan, shining brightly and not dissipating for a long time.
Li Guoshi was both excited and confused: because this auspicious omen is a once-in-a-lifetime and once-in-a-lifetime auspicious omen, indicating that a great figure who will go down in history is about to be born.
Li Chunfeng thought to himself: The Tang Dynasty is in its heyday, and Emperor Taizong Li Shimin is the first emperor through the ages, is there still a huge variable brewing between heaven and earth? He couldn't figure it out, so with apprehension, he disguised himself as a feng shui gentleman and quietly sneaked to Lingnan and found the foot of Longshan Mountain.
Mr. Feng Shui climbed the mountain to look for dragons during the day, and lived at night at the home of Huang Leitian, a wealthy man in Xialu Village, at the foot of Longshan Mountain. Through many days of mountaineering and dragon observation, he discovered: Lingnan Canglong Cave is like a Mani pearl; Millions of years of gestation, a thousand rays of light. This feng shui, this dragon vein, is clearly the place where the emperor was born; However, this ruiqi, this colorful cloud, is so serene, so soft, there is no emperor that dominates the world, the charm here is more graceful than the king, and more free and easy than Wenqu Xing.
Li Chunfeng fell into deep thought: What kind of auspicious omen is this? What kind of character is it, inspired by the earth and the sky?
At this time, it was the darkest hour before dawn, the heavens and the earth were in chaos, and the heavy morning mist filled all the space, making people feel heavy, oppressive, and inexplicably disturbed.
The black mountains are also like a dead dragon and snake, crawling in the wilderness......
This day is the twelfth year of Tang Zhenguan (638), the eighth day of the second lunar month. On this day, since Patriarch Bodhidharma passed on the most incredible wisdom in the universe, Zen, to the second ancestor Hui Ke, exactly a century has passed - a full hundred years.
This is Xialu Village at the foot of Longshan Mountain in Lingnan Xinzhou. It is 5,000 miles away from Jingluo (Chang'an, Luoyang), the ruling center of the Tang Dynasty, and is the most uncivilized and barbaric area in Lingnan.
Half of the bright moon, from time to time poking out of the gaps in the clouds flowing in the sky, peeking at the changing world.
The artemisia grass of the wilderness, the wildflowers on the roadside, and the firewood of the cottages were all bathed in a faint silver light.
In the twelfth year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (638 AD), the eighth night of the second lunar month.
In a hut in Xialu Village, New South Korea, a middle-aged man is pacing back and forth. The weather-beaten, lightly wrinkled face, restless in the dim and flickering light of the oil lamp, stretched its neck from time to time to peer into the inner room.
When the time is near, most of the neighbors have been dreaming. Even those noisy domestic dogs dozed off tiredly in the corners of their homes. But the cries of spring insects and the croaking of frogs in the pond made him even more upset and restless.
This middle-aged man's name is Lu Xingyao, who is nearly forty years old but has experienced all the wind and dust.
He was originally a native of Fanyang, the prefect of Fanyang, Hebei, and the Lu family of Fanyang, since the Han Shangshu and Zhonglang General Lu Zhi, he has always been the "most prominent "Cui, Lu, Wang, and Xie" four prominent families in Beizhou. Cao Cao once praised Lu Zhi as "a famous book in the sea, a scholar of Confucianism, a model of scholars, and a leader of the country". For hundreds of years, Fan Yang Lu's generals have entered the prime minister, high-ranking officials have come out one after another, and the famous ministers are like clouds, from the Three Kingdoms to the early Tang Dynasty, there are as many as 12 prime ministers alone. His father, Lu Zushang, was an official of the Tang Dynasty - Yingzhou Assassin Shi, who was wrongfully killed by the imperial court, and his mother was in charge of housework at home.
Although Lu Xingyao can't be a big man in the world for ten years, he also has a not very small official to do - Fan Yang Prefect.
Lu Xingyan is usually honest and upright, and his brilliant talent provokes the jealousy of his colleagues, and he loses the favor of his boss because he is not proficient in flattery.
Tang Gaozu Wude in the autumn of the third year. Lu Xingyu took his servant Lu Bing back to his hometown to visit relatives, and on the way back, he walked on the rugged path in the mountains and heard the voice of a woman calling for help in the hazel forest.
"Let's go and see." Lu Xingyu and Lu Bing quickly ran towards the place where they called for help, and saw a young village girl crying and shouting. Her skirt was torn off, and her dirty clothes were torn into strips. The snow-white carcass was also exposed, and the lower body was a pool of red blood, which made people dare not look at it directly. Next to the woman, a gorgeously dressed man was hurriedly putting on his underwear, and not far away several people who looked like domestic slaves were squatting on the grass, chatting with their backs to the man.
Seeing this, Lu Xingyu knew what was happening, and rushed forward and shouted at the man, "What are you doing?"
The man was wearing his underwear and said, "I ......"
The young village girl wore her hair and tied her skirt, stood up, poked at the man, and cried to Lu Xingyao: "This guy intercepted me halfway and violently attacked me." ”
"The thief wants to catch the stolen goods." Lu Xingyu rushed forward and snatched the green satin pants that the man was still resting on the tree before he had time to put them on.
Seeing this, the man rushed forward with an arrow, trying to take back his pants, but was flashed by Lu Xingyi.
The man pounced a few times, but still couldn't get his pants back.
The man was angry: "You snatched my pants, it's such a big dog's guts." Do you know what I am?"
Lu Xingyan asked rhetorically, "Who are you?"
