Chapter 922: The Celestial Maiden Speaks of the One-Vehicle-Dharma (2)
Sariputta asked the heavens, "Why do you want to do so in the three vehicles?" ”
Sariputta asked the Celestial Maiden again, "Which route do you want to take in the three vehicles of shravaka, rim consciousness, and Mahayana?" ”
Heaven said: "I am the sound of all sentient beings." Therefore, I am the Buddha of the Buddha for the Dharma of karma. With the Dharma of Great Compassion for sentient beings, I am Mahayana. "The Celestial Maiden said she wasn't necessarily the route.
Sariputta, like a person entering the Jamphrin, only the Zhanbu, not the lingering fragrance.
Junmphlin is a sandalwood forest, and when a person enters a juniplin, he only smells the incense of juniplin.
If so, if you enter this room, but smell the fragrance of the Buddha's merits, you are not happy to smell the sound and the incense of the Buddha's merits.
In the same way, when you go to the chamber of Vimala, there is no difference in the size of the three vehicles, only one vehicle of the Dharma.
Sariputta, whose Buddha, Brahman, the Four Heavenly Kings, the Heavens, Dragons, Ghosts, Gods, and so on, enter this room, and when they hear the Venerable Master speaking about the Dharma, they are all happy with the fragrance of the Buddha's merits, and they come out with their hearts.
Shi is not to point out the family, but to be the emperor, the God of the desire to seek the heavens, and the Jade Emperor in the Taoist concept.
Brahma means pure, and this place refers to the king of the great Brahma in the color world.
The Four Heavenly Kings are the Heavenly Kings of the lowest level of the Heavenly Realm.
The four heavens are the celestial beings of the twenty-eight nakshatras.
For four days, when the celestial beings of these heavens can have this cause, merit, and wisdom to enter this chamber, and become lay disciples, they all smell the fragrance of the Buddha's one-vehicle Dharma merits, and they all send out Mahayana minds.
In other words, all beings who do not have Hinayana are Mahayana root organs.
Sariputta, I have been in this room for ten or two years, and at first I did not hear the Dharma of the Bodhisattva, but I heard of the Bodhisattva's great compassion and incredible Buddha's Dharma.
The goddess told Sariputta that she had been in this chamber for 12 years, and that she had never heard Vimala talk about the Hinayana method, but that the Dharma was unifying the path.
The Lotus Sutra is also a one-vehicle path, and there is no three-vehicle path.
Now we will start to talk about the issue of women's appearance.
All cultures and religions in the world have been patriarchal since ancient times.
Not necessarily.
Interestingly, many religions, while patriarchal, ultimately fall back to women.
Like Taoism, the last and largest is the Holy Mother of Yaochi, the mother of the Jade Emperor.
The most worshipped thing in Catholicism is the Virgin.
In Buddhism, Avalokiteshvara, the most popular Bodhisattva, is a woman who lives for all beings.
This is all a representation of maternal love.
Buddhism has always been about equality, but in terms of precepts and rules, there is still an equal difference for women, and there is a difference in equality.
Especially when it comes to spiritual practice, women must first cultivate to the point where they can transform into a male body before they can become a Buddha.
Generally speaking, it is said that the only difference is that there are several classics, one is the "Vimala Sutra", and the other is the rare "Buddha Says the Female Sutra on the Moon", which becomes a Buddha in the form of a woman, and asks questions and answers with Shakyamuni Buddha, which is silently recognized by the Buddha.
The third sutra is the "Sutra of the Lady of Shenghu", which is most valued by the Dharma Sect. These books really speak of equality between men and women.
Now back to the question and answer between Sariputta and the Celestial Maiden in the Vimala Sutra, these do not need to be explained word by word.
Sariputta said, "Why don't you turn into a woman? ”
Sariputta asked the Celestial Maiden, why didn't she turn around as a woman if she was so clever?
Heaven said: In the past 12 years, I have begged a woman to meet but I can't get it, what should I do?
The Heavenly Maiden replied, you asked a good question, I have spent 12 years studying whether my body is a woman, I can't find out that I am a woman, how to turn around?
Those of you here may not even need twelve seconds to know if you are a woman or not.
This "unattainable" was also first seen in the Vimala Sutra, and was later commonly used by Zen patriarchs.
Why mention twelve years?
This is a secret, and it is generally said that it takes three great monks to practice and become a Buddha.
