Chapter 841: Forty-Nine Grades

"All the Dharma is the same", it's not that you don't move or shake, it's not that you ask for what you create as if it doesn't move, it is originally immovable and like that, as if it came but didn't come, you have lived for twenty or thirty years, and you feel that it is just like yesterday's thing, and all the Dharma is like yesterday's dream, and all of them are unattainable.

"The same is true of all the sages", as are all the sages of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Confucius, Jesus, and Shakyamuni Buddha, as if they have been here, where are they? If you go, you will come.

"As for Maitreya, too." Even Maitreya is the same with you, do you think there exists? It's just like duckweed floating on the water, passing with a flick of a finger in the historical universe.

"If Maitreya is to be taken into account, all living beings should also be remembered." If you receive Maitreya, you will become a Buddha in the future, I tell you, all sentient beings should also be remembered, and they should also become Buddhas! If I were Maitreya, I would retort to Vimala, "Of course it is! The Buddha of the Third Buddha of the Ten Directions has already given instructions to all sentient beings, and all sliving beings have Buddha nature! ”

Vimal continued, "So what? "What reason?

"The husband is the same." You see, he writes specifically on "such as". What do you mean by such as? There are no two ways, no two is one, no difference is no change, no two are the same. If you understand the word "such as", the universe of tens of thousands of years is a time, and there is no difference in time and space.

When you attain Bodhi today, you will be the same as the Buddhas of the past and the Buddhas of the future, and there is no difference, what he has realized is this, and what you have realized is also this.

"If Maitreya attains the three bodhisattvas, then all sentient beings deserve it as well." If Maitreya is enlightened, all sentient beings should also be enlightened, and all of them are Buddhas.

"So what?" What is the reason?

"All sentient beings, i.e., Bodhi Phase." Bodhi is not the Bodhi that you string into prayer beads, and the Bodhi is also enlightened. We ourselves are enlightened, that is, the Tao, but the division of the Tao is not the separation, so there are different appearances of each person, which are all phenomena of the Tao.

It is the nature of Bodhi that can change all appearances, but no one has ever been lost, which one is not enlightened! Hum! It's a pity that you Maitreya didn't come to your senses.

It's like a monk asked me why I didn't leave home, and I said that I had never been home, so where did I come from? One out and one in is just the difference between sentient beings themselves.

"If Maitreya is the one who is destroyed, all living beings should also be destroyed." If Maitreya and you attain nirvana in the future, all sentient beings will be able to attain nirvana just like you.

"So what? The Buddhas know that all sentient beings, after all, are extinguished, that is, the nirvana phase, and they are no longer extinguished. ”

Attention! Where is the true Dharma?

Nirvana is the fruit of this path, and you are now in Nirvana without knowing it! One thought is not born and all thoughts are fully embodied, and all thoughts are born, and the existing bare state is this realm.

From birth to the present, all sentient beings are originally immortal and immortal, and in the midst of annihilation, where do they still require a nirvana? The ultimate fruition of studying Buddhism and seeking the Tao is to attain nirvana.

Nirvana is difficult to translate correctly, so if you don't translate it, the ordinary interpretation of it as a circle of death, extinction, or extinction is not all correct, and it is only one-sided. For example, in the world of Elysium, Bliss, light, and purity are also the realm of Nirvana.

Nirvana is inherently pure, inherently perfect and immortal, and there are so many meanings in it.

If we translate it into the Chinese words for round death, extinction, or silence, as a result, we will regard the death of people as nirvana.

Death is life and death, not nirvana. Man is dead, but his nature is not dead! The Heart Sutra says: "No birth or destruction, no impurity, no increase or decrease", which is nirvana.

"That's right, Maitreya! There is no one who tempts the sons of heaven in this way, there is no one who develops the three bodhichitta, and there is no one who retreats. "Vimo lay man scolded Maitreya, what kind of law are you giving to the heavenly people here! The real Dharma cannot be said or spoken, everyone is a Buddha, you don't deceive the celestial beings here, you persuade them to develop the Mahayana anuttara samadhichitta and the three bodhichitta, but there is really no mind to develop, all sentient beings have this mind is the Mahayana mind, and the body of the mind is inherently immortal, how can there be a person who retreats from the path mind?

But I would like to add that he is talking about the body of the mind, and as for those of us sentient beings who have not attained the body of the mind, we should not blow it.

Motivation is a noun in Buddhism, enlightenment is really called enlightenment, it is the invention of the heart, not to ask you to pay two money, that is the heart of money.

To truly develop the three bodhichitta, to have one's own mind, to have a clear mind, to have a great understanding.

At this point, I would like to divert into a topic in particular, you usually study or listen to courses in the field of meditation, such as meditation and enlightenment, these exercises of cultivation and enlightenment are so difficult, why is the Vimala Sutra so easy to say, and everyone thinks that you can understand it at a glance? First of all, we must pay attention to this problem, otherwise we will make a mistake.

What the Vimala Sutra talks about is the first meaning, and in modern terms, it is the highest point of the metaphysical path, which is equivalent to the enlightenment of Zen Buddhism.

In this sutra, the ten disciples of the Buddha have all attained the status of arhats, and they have all been reprimanded and scolded by Vimal monks, where is the truth? It's a matter of insight.

When we study Buddhism, we have the problem of confusion and confusion, which is the knot of thought, the obstacle that confuses us, greed, anger, ignorance, slowness, and doubt.

This kind of mental and physical obstacle is broken by doing kung fu practice and gradually cultivating.

Seeing confusion has a body view, a side view, a view of the side, a view of the forbidden, and an evil view, that is, the opinion and reason are not thorough, and it is not something that can be determined by cultivation, but it must be determined by wisdom.

It's not that you have cultivated kung fu well, how much the Buddha recited, and meditated for 10,000 eons, as long as you have wisdom and insight, it is useless, so how to get rid of the confusion of seeing and thinking must be clear.

Some people have cultivated their kung fu very well, and they have studied Buddhism very sincerely, and they are all right, but they cannot be regarded as enlightened, because if they have not broken their confusion and have not achieved wisdom, they will not be able to attain Bodhi.

Confusion is judged by cultivation, although there is merit, good deeds, and meditation.
