Chapter 962 - Appearance (13)

"Those who are poor are now endlessly hidden, so that they can persuade them and develop bodhichitta", the first four verses talk about power, and these four sentences talk about wealth.

Great bodhisattvas want to get rich, so you'd better get rich more. When it comes to the topic of making a fortune, I remember that my teacher and I have quite different opinions. My teacher believes that to promote Buddhism, we still need to follow the traditional path, and only when emperors, kings, ministers, and laymen have the heart of our hearts can we revitalize Buddhism.

I said that the times are different, and that in the future, the promotion of culture and Buddhism should be based on the common people, and the power to promote it cannot rely not on the power of the emperor or the leadership of the state, but on the money of the capitalists.

After decades, it seems that my opinion is still right. Then I also put forward another opposite view with my teacher, that in the future society, it will not be so simple to promote the Dharma, and if you want to truly practice the bodhisattva path, you have to hold the Buddhist scriptures in one hand and catch a mouse in the other.

Why catch mice? The Tantric god of wealth has a mouse in his hand. It is necessary to give money with one hand and the Dharma with the other, that is, wealth and Dharma, and so on, there is no difference, so that it can be promoted. When young people in later generations study Buddhism, they must have money to provide for them, otherwise why else they come to learn from you?

I see that the top of Amitabha Buddha is a little red, and it seems to be this thing. Therefore, it can only be done if you have two financial methods, which also means that the karma of all beings in the turbid world in the future will be heavy and terrifying. Whether this opinion is correct or not, let you judge.

The Vimala layman said here that it is true to spread the Dharma for the benefit of sentient beings, and that the great bodhisattvas sometimes appear as rich people, and that they are equally generous in their wealth and dharma, so that the poor people can be helped, and they are persuaded to develop bodhichitta.

"I am a slow heart, for the current strong man, subduing all the tributes, so that the supreme way", Gonggao is relatively rare in Buddhist scriptures, and is commonly used in the quotations of the patriarch.

What is Gonggao called? Gong is an adjective, the same as the arch. Gong Gao is self-righteous. "Lao Tzu" said, "Empty its heart, real its belly." "There are several meanings for people to be open-minded.

According to meditation, humility is the absence of distracting thoughts, the absence of distracting thoughts in the mind and heart. The solid abdomen is the qi and pulse stop of the three Zen realms, and the so-called three dantian in Taoism is full (the mind is the upper dantian, the heart is the middle dantian, and the lower abdomen is the lower dantian). Another truth, the mind is ethereal, as long as you have enough to eat, there are no other requirements, this is the worldly law of ordinary people. Contrary to the humble heart, it is the Zen patriarch's scolding words "empty stomach and high heart", saying that the popularity is raised, the mind is uncertain, the mind is doubtful, the right and wrong are told, the heart is floating on it, and the three dantian are empty and cannot be fixed.

I am slow, 憍 and slow is a Buddhist term, the original text of the Buddhist scriptures is "憍", and the "pride" used in later generations is to make mistakes and make mistakes, and it has nothing to do with horses. It is a person's eyes looking upward, but there is no one in his eyes. Slow is different, it is the arrogance of the heart, and it can't be seen on the outside, although it is said that others are good, but in the heart it is still good for yourself.

There are two kinds of differences, which are manifested in the outside, and the momentum attitude of the appearance is sluggish, while the internal is slow. Why don't you say that sentient beings are slow in their hearts, but that they are slow in my heart? Master Kumarosh's translation is word-for-word, and anyone who is sluggish must be valued by me, so I am slow-hearted.

If there is a person who is slow to pay tribute, the Bodhisattva wants to educate him, and he will be a great man, and he will be intimidated and slow to bring him back to the supreme path, which is a means of rebellion rather than Hue.

This reminds me of the fact that there are many chivalrous people in Chinese history, and Confucius did not mention them, but Sima Qian wrote the "Historical Records", especially for them, and he was very respected. A chivalrous man is not a Taibao hooligan, stabbing someone with a knife is not a chivalrous behavior. Because there are many things in the world that cannot be solved by morality or law, Amitabha Buddha has no way, and Guanyin Bodhisattva has no choice but to shed tears. Only the chivalrous man is here, Ge Laozi, I have a big fist, and I will take your head off if you do this. Well, the problem is solved.
