Chapter 1069 - Divine Power of Freedom (6)

"Tribulation" is the time that has elapsed from the time of achievement to the destruction of the world. According to the Buddhist concept, there are four stages in this world, which together are called one great eon, and each stage is divided into twenty small eons. Starting from the average life expectancy of 84,000 years, it is reduced by one year every 100 years, to 10 years of life, and then increased by one year every 100 years to 84,000 years.

In the stage of the world's dwelling, the last eons of the dwelling tribulation begin, and the three minor calamities such as war, plague, and famine occur frequently. Then it came to the stage of the bad world, and within the first nineteen eons of the bad tribulation, the sentient world gradually disappeared, and of course the human race also disappeared.

In the last small calamity, the three major disasters occurred in turns, the fire burned from the hell to the first Zen heaven, the flood flooded from the hell to the second Zen heaven, and the wind disaster was destroyed from the hell to the third Zen heaven, completely destroying this material world. Then there were the empty tribulations and twenty small tribulations, and there was nothing.

It will take twenty eons to form this world again, and it will be a tribulation, the first of which will form the material world, and then the sentient world, including human beings, will gradually take shape.

So, how did the human race come about? It's a religious issue. Western religions believe that the first man was created by God in His image.

According to Buddhism, the world has reached the beginning of the twenty eons of the dwelling tribulation, and the light and sound of the heavens in the upper realm come to this world to play, because they are greedy for the "earthly taste" of this world, and they will not be able to go back after a long time, so they have become our ancestors.

This still doesn't solve the problem, where did Guangyin Tiantian people come from? If it goes on like this, it is a problem of philosophical primitiveism. You writers, there is a lot of data and a lot of topics to write about. The immeasurable eons of the monks mentioned in this sutra are an indescribable and innumerable concept for a long time.

The Buddha told the Emperor of Heaven that in the past there was a Buddha named Medicine King Rulai.

"The world's fame is solemn, the name is solemn, the Buddha's life is twenty small eons, and his reputation is 3.6 billion by him, and the Bodhisattva monk has 1.2 billion." At that time, there was a world called the Great Solemnity, and the number of eons was called the Solemn Tribulation. The life span of that Buddha was 20 eons, and among his ordained disciples, there were 3.6 billion Na Na from him, and 1.2 billion Na from Mahayana Bodhisattvas.

In Buddhism, our world is called the world of sava, which means forbearance, and it also means that it is flawed and imperfect. It is precisely because it is not perfect that sentient beings will be willing to learn Buddhism, and if it is too consummating, it will become one of the disasters of the eight tribulations, and sentient beings will easily fall. The calamity of our sampa world is called the virtuous and holy tribulation, and there are a thousand Buddhas who will be born, and Shakyamuni Buddha is the fourth. So we don't have to worry about the world going bad soon, because there are still many Buddhas to be born, so let's wait slowly.

"The Emperor of Heaven is the Holy King of the Wheel from time to time, his name is Bao Gai, the Seven Treasures are sufficient, and the Lord is in the four heavens." The Wheel Saint King is the immortal Wise Saint King. The Wheel Saint King is also divided into four classes, the Golden Wheel Saint King, the Silver Wheel Saint King, the Iron Wheel Saint King, and the Bronze Wheel Saint King. When the Golden Wheel Saint King was born, the world was absolutely peaceful, and there were almost no bad people. At the beginning of this scripture, I spoke of a good pair:

May heaven always give birth to good people

May people always do good

This was the era of the Writing Wheel Saint King. This is a great wish, and it is a real great wish. What kind of holy king is the Ming monarch in the history of the Central Plains, that is a question of historical philosophy.

The Buddhist scriptures say that when a Wheel King is born, there must be seven treasures, that is, seven conditions: Wheel Treasure (the golden wheel held by the Holy King), Jade Maiden Treasure (virtuous queen), Elephant Treasure, Ma Bao (good means of transportation, clever tools of war), Mani Jewels, Lord Treasure (capable finance minister), Master Treasure (scheming courtiers, military generals). Measured by this standard, then in the history of the Central Plains, there are not many good emperors, and I am afraid that there are less than ten who can be regarded as the king of the wheel.
