Chapter 976: Life and Death Evidence Nirvana
Those who have attained nirvana are "jumping out of the Three Realms" as Buddhists often say. We can assume a question, after you jump out of the Three Realms, which realm do you want to jump to?
Buddhism only talks about the three realms, and if "no" can be counted as the realm, then it is considered the fourth realm.
But how can "nothing" be considered a boundary?
So where to jump, it's worth studying.
So where is Nirvana, the proof of life and death?
Nirvana is in life and death, and this promising world is Nirvana, neither born nor dead.
Where is life and death? Life and death are in the nature of life and death. Life and death are a phenomenon, and the thing that can live and die is not in life and death. Therefore, it is said that "if you see life and death, there is no life and death", and there is no need to go to life and death. Life and death are only life and death in form, and there is no life and death in nature. The most terrifying issue in life is life and death, and if this problem is solved, there will be no shackles of troubles.
If there is no bondage, why should I seek liberation? If there is no doubt, why should I seek the truth? If there are no obstacles, why should I cultivate the Tao?
Those who have passed life and death are liberated in the nature of life and death, and if there is nothing to bind you, then you will either not perish, or you will not be born. What can be understood in this way is the only way to enter.
There was a talented layman, Zhang Sheng, who went to Shishuang Zen Master and asked him what his name was, and he said that my name was Zhang Zhuo. The Zen master said, if you can't find a coincidence, where is the clumsiness! And he was enlightened! There is no need to cultivate the white bone concept or recite "Om Mani Horn Mi Ng". After he attained enlightenment, he composed a poem:
Light and silence shine all over the river sand
All the saints and spirits share with my house
A single thought is fully embodied
The six roots were only moved and were obscured by the clouds
Break away from troubles and reincrease illness
Fun is true and evil
There is no obstacle to follow the fate of the world
Nirvana, life and death, and other empty flowers
When Buddhism arrived in the Central Plains, it became Zen Buddhism, and it used the realm of literature to express the most profound Buddhism in a few lines of poetry.
The last sentence of this verse is that Nirvana is in life and death, in troubles, and there is a cool place for nature.
Those who have attained this realm will be able to attain the realm of the bodhisattva of goodwill, as the Ranga Sutra says, and if they have attained the "will-born body", they will be able to attain the realm of the bodhisattva of goodwill.
Now I see the Bodhisattva saying: Everything is not two. If the law is in the end, if it is endless, it is all endless. Infinite phase is emptiness, and emptiness is endless phase. If you are an enterer, it is the only way to enter.
Now I see that the Bodhisattva also appears in the "Huayan Sutra", and he is the realm of the Bodhisattva of Fuxian. Fuxian is omnipresent and ubiquitous. Where is the Bodhisattva? Right in front of your eyes. You said that you didn't see the Bodhisattva riding a six-tusked white elephant, maybe it was in your pocket, and the Bodhisattva was omnipresent.
"End" is the margin, the end is the end, not the end is never. The end and the end are opposites in concept. "If everything is endless, it is all endless", those who have truly realized the Tao and realize the emptiness of their own nature, the so-called end and not end are not the end of the phase. In the end, not in the end, is our man-made concept, this universe is immeasurable, people who know astronomical knowledge know that this void is endless, and the galaxy system like ours in space is inexhaustible, just like the Buddhist scriptures say.
Why is it called endless? This endless phase is emptiness. You say that today's meditation is relatively empty, and I understand that your emptiness is as big as a small hole. Empty! That's just a little bit of purity in your consciousness. Your consciousness in the realm of ordinary people can't penetrate it, and you can't imagine it. If you can be liberated by going there, then you can understand a little bit of the infinite phase.
After listening to the words of the Bodhisattva of Seeing Now, whether it is empty or not, it is all a vacuum. You don't have to ask for time when you meditate, isn't it good to just sit like that!
It's true! It's almost good that you can really let go like this, don't ask for another one to put down.
The problem is that as soon as you get to the seat, you all ask one to let go, so you can never let go. The Bodhisattva tells you that the infinite phase is emptiness, and emptiness is the infinity, the inexhaustible.
It doesn't matter to the end, it doesn't matter if it's not to the end. If you can have this kind of belief and understanding, you are the only way to get in.
Seeing is reality in the vernacular, and he tells you that this method is right here now, and if you understand it, you can enter it.
After talking for a long time, it's empty! Where is the emptiness? The empty is here!
How can it be empty? You don't want to be empty. The one that is not empty is empty, and the empty one is not empty. In this way, we can't understand, so we have to laugh at it, and if you really laugh, it's empty.
It's a pity that you don't really smile, so you can't be freed.
