Chapter 798: Thirteen Grades (Part 5)

"Self-discipline, do not ridicule others, is the Bodhisattva Pure Land, and when the Bodhisattva becomes a Buddha, there is no name for violating the ban." To study Buddhism, you must keep the precepts, and the Vimala Sutra makes it very clear that you must keep the precepts automatically and spontaneously in your heart, and you should not be forced by external circumstances or forced by others to keep the precepts.

When you see someone else's behavior wrongly, don't laugh at him, don't criticize him, don't publicize his shortcomings, you don't ridicule them, you are the Bodhisattva Pure Land, and you are the Bodhisattva Path.

There is no such thing as transgressing or not transgressing vows in the Buddha country, because the behavior of people there is naturally in morality.

"The Ten Virtues are the Bodhisattva's Pure Land, when the Bodhisattva becomes a Buddha, his life is not in the middle of his life, he is rich and prosperous, he is sincere in his words, he often speaks softly, his family members are not separated, he is kind and slanderous, his words will be beneficial, he is not jealous, and he is seeing all sentient beings in the coming life of his country." To learn the basic precepts of Buddhism, we must first cultivate the ten good karmic paths.

That is, killing, stealing, fornication, greed, hatred, foolishness, lying words, evil mouths, double tongues, and gossip, and being able to correct these ten kinds of mistakes that are easy to make in the body, mouth, and mind are the ten good karmic paths.

I've already talked about it. Being able to cultivate the Ten Good Karmic Paths is the Bodhisattva's Pure Land, so why do you have to learn to be a human being before learning Buddhism?

It is impossible to prove the results without humanity being repaired. How to repair humanity? It is to cultivate the ten good karmic paths, and if they are cultivated, it is the achievement of humanity.

When a bodhisattva becomes a Buddha,

"Fate is not in time", and you will not die at a young age;

"Great wealth" means that although you are rich, you are willing to practice at the same time, which is not what we often say

"It is difficult to give to the poor, but it is difficult to be rich and rich";

"The truth of what is said" is to believe what is said;

"Always speak softly" means that I don't speak to people roughly, unlike when I often yell at people;

"Dependents are not separated", parents, brothers and sisters and other six relatives will not be separated;

"Good and litigious", able to reconcile other people's litigies;

"Words will be beneficial", always speak words that are beneficial to others, and do not speak words that are not profitable;

"No jealousy", no jealousy and no resentment of others. After talking about this paragraph, and then using each one to compare one's experiences, words and deeds in this life, you will know whether you have cultivated the ten good karmic paths in your previous life.

"Yes! Treasure Pool! If the bodhisattva follows his straight heart, he can issue it; With its release, it will be deep-hearted: with its deep heart, it will be subdued; Let it be subdued, then it is like saying and doing; If you do what you say, you can dedicate yourself; With its dedication, it is convenient; If it is convenient for them, they will achieve sentient beings; With the achievement of sentient beings, the Buddha is pure; If the land of the Buddha is pure, then the Dharma is pure; If the law is pure, the wisdom is pure; With wisdom pure, then its heart is pure; If your heart is pure, all merit will be pure. "This is the Pure Land Method, and the procedure for learning Buddhism and doing kung fu is here.

The Buddha said that the first step is to straighten the mind and not distort the mind. Because only by really cultivating a straight heart can it be issued, what can it be done?

If you make a wish, you can really practice. Then I gradually gained a deep heart, and the heart of practicing wisdom and merit became deeper and deeper.

When you have a deep mind, your delusional consciousness will naturally be subdued and purified, and when you meditate, your delusions cannot be subdued, because you have not gained a deep mind.

The Buddha said in the Diamond Sutra

According to the Vimala Sutra, it is natural to be able to subdue delusions.

Only by subduing delusion can you be consistent with your words and deeds, you can do what you say, and of course you can say what you can do.

Because it does

"If you say what you say", you will be qualified to dedicate yourself to all sentient beings. If you can dedicate yourself, your wisdom will be able to help people easily and achieve sentient beings.

If you can attain sentient beings, your Buddha land is the Pure Land. When your Buddha land is pure, everything you will naturally say is pure.

Because we are talking about the pure law, the natural wisdom is pure. Because wisdom is pure, your heart is pure, and you are a pure land, a pure land of idealism.

There is no need for the Pure Land of the past life, and when the heart is the Pure Land, all the merits are solemn and pure.

The Buddha said it clearly here, and the method of cultivation is here.

"That's right, Treasure! If a bodhisattva wants to attain a pure land, he should purify his mind and follow his mind, then the Buddha's land will be pure. "Whatever kind of Pure Land you cultivate, whether it is the Pure Land of Bliss in the West, the Pure Land of Pure Light in the East, the Pure Land of Incense Accumulation above, the Pure Land of the Pure Land that is not empty in the north, the Pure Land of Baosheng in the South, and so on, you should pay attention to these four sentences: "If a bodhisattva wants to obtain a pure land, he should purify his mind and purify his heart, then the Buddha's land will be pure." "Your heart is not pure, and reciting the Buddha and the Dharma and the Sangha can only be regarded as temporarily planting a little bit of good roots!

What is the mind, this is a big question, not the delusional mind of the sixth consciousness that everyone uses to perceive now, but the whole sincerity that includes the inner and outer parts of the body and mind, and the unity of mind and matter.

As for how to purify, we must first start with delusions, gradually purify our consciousness, then purify our body, and then enter into the complete purity of the mind and mind inside and outside.

This is the true purity of mind, the true pure land, the true Dharma, to be grasped. Here is the first point of the Vimala Sutra.
