In a sense, Dong Zhuo wanted to set things right, but the result was that he became more and more chaotic, he reused the scholars and the party, but he lost his heart, and wanted to restore peace in the world but made the world finally chaotic, why?

I have to say that Dong Zhuo's character itself is not suitable for being in charge of the government, he is too brutal and rude, managing a country is like opening a porcelain shop, you have to be careful in everything, after all, every move of the decision-maker will have a significant impact on the entire country, especially Dong Zhuo's power is basically not constrained by others, he himself is not good at restraining himself, the result is like an unrestrained bison rushing into the porcelain shop, the end can be imagined.

Of course, Dong Zhuo himself was born in the wilderness, and he was not much influenced by the scholars, but the barbarians in the frontier had a great influence on him, on the other hand, his own political level was not very high, and he completely relied on force to control the imperial court, of course, he was not welcomed, and it was inevitable that the scholars and the party would eventually work against Dong Zhuo.

But it would be wrong to say that the party and the scholars have no feelings for Dong Zhuo at all. Take Cai Yong as an example, he was forced to work for Dong Zhuo, Dong Zhuo admired him very much, and within three days, he was successively promoted to serve the imperial history, the imperial history of the Zhishu, and the Shangshu. Cai Yong also reciprocated the favor, and often played the piano at Dong Zhuo's banquets, but this does not mean that Cai Yong will give up the festival, on the contrary, Cai Yong hopes that Dong Zhuo can change his evil and return to the right, and do his best to help Dong Zhuo in his own way, wanting to pull him back to the right path.

Even if it is Zhou Bismuth and Wu Qiong, although they prevented Dong Zhuo from wanting Yuan Shao and recommended many "anti-thieves", the original intention may not be for Dong Zhuo's good, but "good intentions" may not be able to do "good things".

In the final analysis, Dong Zhuo and those party members themselves are walking two completely different paths, how can they come together.

【Abolish the Son of Heaven】

The abolition of the Son of Heaven was one of the most direct and important reasons for Dong Zhuo's failure.

In fact, when Dong Zhuo first entered Beijing, he didn't do much bad things, and he wasn't so messy (compared to later), but why did a large number of people such as Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, and Cao Cao run away, and why did the Kwantung princes unite so much to oppose Dong Zhuo, and it was not that Dong Zhuo wanted to abolish the establishment.

Dong Zhuo's foundation was too shallow when he was abolished, and the people in the world didn't know what kind of person Dong Zhuo was at that time, but after Dong Zhuo was abolished, everyone knew that Dong Zhuo was a villain, and Dong Zhuo's reputation when he supported the emperor in the eunuch rebellion suddenly became negative.

As for why Dong Zhuo wants to abolish the establishment, the reason may be very complicated, and it may be very simple, I have already mentioned the complexity before, why do I say that it may be very simple?

Because Dong Zhuo's actual political level is not very high, he may not think about it so much at all, but he thinks that Liu Wei is not good, as he said to Yuan Shao: "The monarch of the world should be a virtuous person." Whenever I think of Emperor Ling, it makes people resentful. 'Dong Hou' (i.e. Liu Xie) seems to be good, and now I plan to appoint him emperor, I wonder if he can beat 'Shi Hou' (i.e. Liu Wei) Some people are smart in small things, but confused in big things, who knows what will happen to him? If he can't do it, the Liu family won't be worth keeping any more seeds! ”

Dong Zhuo has his own ambitions, and he feels that Liu Wei can't do it, so he will be abolished, if Liu Xie can't do it, Dong Zhuo will probably go on his own.
