vs 14 Enlightenment is not hindsight

Righteous speech is the karma of good speech, that is, the ten good karma of not lying, not double-talking, not speaking evilly, and not gossiping, that is, to stay away from all careless words, slanderous words, arrogant words, abusive words, mean words, rhetorical words, and false words. Therefore, Zhengyu is also called Zhengyan and Truth. Orthodox words must be reasonable words, so they are also called logical words, such as the Buddha's sayings are true, truthful, not different, not deceptive, this is the correct language. There are four kinds of content of the correct language: true language, true and true, and no deceptive words; Words of mercy, words of mercy and gentleness, of faith; Words of praise, words of praise to others, words of joy; Fluent language, words that help others, words that benefit people.

Doing the right thing, and doing the right thing, the right way. It refers to the proper karma of the body, that is, the behavior should be righteous, the three karma of the body, mouth, and mind should be pure, and all evil deeds such as killing and evil intentions should be kept away. That is, among the ten good karmas, do not kill, do not steal, do not be arrogant and lascivious, and so on. But this is just a negative way of not doing negative karma, and the positive meaning of positive karma should be to protect students, be compassionate, give alms, and so on. In addition, it is also a good job to have regular habits. For example, proper sleep, diet, exercise, rest, and work can not only improve personal health and work efficiency, but also be an important factor for family happiness and social stability.

Righteousness is a legitimate way of living economically and earning a living. Proper economic life is very important, because most of the evils come from the abnormality of economic life. A proper life should be: a rational economic life, a noble moral life, a harmonious social life, and a pure emotional life.

Diligence, also known as diligence, convenience, and governance, is to march courageously toward the goal of truth. Slackness is the root of all evil paths, the seed of birth and death, from which all the sufferings of the world are born. If you want to break the shackles of life and death, you should be diligent and give up slackness. The essence is not mixed, and the advance is not retreating, that is, striving for good, and striving to break evil. Buddhism takes the four righteous diligences as the goal of diligence, which are: the unborn good causes the growth, and the already born good causes the growth; The order that has not been born evil will not be born, and the order that has been born evil will be cut off. The meaning is probably as follows: if there is no right goal, immediately determine, and if there is already a right goal, work towards it; If you don't have bad thoughts, don't think about them anymore, and if you already have bad thoughts, stop them immediately.

Mindfulness, also known as true intention, is pure thought, that is, not giving rise to evil thoughts, but having the right path in mind. Those who study Buddhism should not put their thoughts on people's right and wrong, success or failure, money, fame and fortune, and feelings, but should always have righteous thoughts in their hearts. The content of mindfulness is the four thoughts, which are: contemplating the impurity of the body, contemplating suffering as suffering, contemplating the impermanence of the mind, and contemplating the Dharma without self. Impure contemplation: Ordinary people often have delusions of attachment because they love their own beauty and health. In fact, our bodies are full of filth such as feces, urine, garbage, etc., which can be said to be a collection of filth. (Although this statement of Buddhism sounds a little unpleasant to us, the Buddha taught us to contemplate impurity in order to break our attachment to the body and cultivate ourselves with the help of Buddhism in order to attain the eternal and immortal Dharmakaya.) )

Contemplation is suffering: all kinds of suffering and happiness in the world are actually suffering, because life is full of all kinds of sufferings of birth, old age, sickness and death, even if we occasionally have happiness, but these happiness will also disappear with the vagaries of the world, the endless flow, and the change of time and space, so it is said that contemplation is suffering. Contemplating the impermanence of the mind: Our minds are suddenly heaven and hell, sometimes good and sometimes bad, sometimes good and sometimes evil, sometimes born and sometimes destroyed, like an ape, our thoughts are uncertain, so we say that the mind is impermanent. Contemplating the Dharma without self: The Diamond Sutra says: "All the Dharma is like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such." "Everything in the world will eventually perish and perish, and nothing has its own nature and can be autonomous. Only by knowing how to contemplate the Dharma of the world without me can we find our true Dharma nature from the five desires and dust. When we always put our minds above impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness, we will not be greedy for the small profits in the world, so that we can be brave and courageous.

Positive concentration is the concentration of the will and spirit with correct meditation, so as to converge the scattered body and mind and cultivate a perfect personality. True meditation does not lie in formal meditation, but in the development of inner energy. Proper meditation should be: healthy meditation leads to the health of the body; Reassuring meditation can make the mind focus on one realm, so that it can be easy and reassuring; Enlightened meditation can make the mind suddenly open up, from fascination to enlightenment; Meditation on seeing nature can lead to the recovery of true Buddha nature and true self.

Only when a person has correct knowledge and correct views can he make correct thinking judgments about right and wrong, good and evil, truth and falsehood, embody correct behavior, language, and thoughts, and strive to strive for the right goal, cultivate good thoughts and wisdom for a long time, and settle down in pure meditation. Therefore, the Noble Eightfold Path is one, and if you cultivate any one of them, the remaining seven must be completed at the same time. In the Noble Eightfold Path, right view is at the top of the list. Right view is wisdom, and it is the teacher of spiritual practice, just as you need eyes to walk the road and you need a compass to sail. Zhengjian is like a camera, you must adjust the aperture, distance, and speed when taking pictures, so that the picture can be clear and beautiful, and the washed out photos will not be out of shape. Those who study Buddhism must have correct knowledge and correct views in order to see clearly the truth of life in the universe and not to produce wrong and paranoid thoughts and actions.

Buddhism is not a doctrine, it cannot be just a theoretical understanding, especially the Noble Eightfold Path, it is completely a guide for daily life, so we should cultivate and adjust it from our daily life. For example, in order to believe in Buddhism, no matter what grievances, grievances, difficulties, or persecution you encounter, you should not change your belief in Buddhism. Everything you think and think on a daily basis is in line with the truth of the Dharma, and this is righteous thinking. When we talk to people, we speak with kindness and love, and we give rise to faith, joy, and hope. Even what they do in ordinary times is in line with morality and etiquette, and they do not infringe on and hurt others for their own selfish desires, and then take the initiative to help the weak, be kind and charitable, and strive to do good and eliminate evil; Being able to be calm and calm in all kinds of situations, and using wisdom to judge and solve things are all ways to practice the Noble Eightfold Path in daily life.

In order to achieve the goal of liberating suffering, those who study Buddhism and practice cannot but comprehend and experience the middle way of impermanence and selflessness, otherwise, it is not very pitiful to allow our fascination, perversion, and delusion to overflow, and mistakenly regard impermanence as normal, selflessness as me, and indulge in my infinite **, leading to infinite suffering? Therefore, the practitioner removes the root of suffering, my concept, sincerity as the top priority, and I want not to die, I want not to get old, I want not to get sick, I want to make a fortune and become a great official, I want to ...... And so on, and can not fulfill the wish of all kinds of suffering**, from the root eradication, to reach the state of nirvana to eliminate love. The extinction of love is the meaning of nirvana.
