Commentary - Into Africa

Background of the incident: On June 1, 2016, when I was attacked by a terrorist car bomb in the camp of the peacekeeping force in Mali, Comrade Shen Liangliang was unfortunately killed and seven comrades were injured. For the first time, China sent a military transport plane across 11 countries and flew more than 27,000 kilometers in a row to transport the martyrs and the wounded back to China. In the 26 years of peacekeeping, a total of 11 Chinese soldiers have died.

So, what happened in countries like Mali in Africa?

We see that the ancestors of ancient human beings, "Homo sapiens" and "Homo sapiens", went out of Africa and opened the era of intelligent life on earth.

However, in modern civilization, the people of the world have gone to Africa. The reason for this is that the long-term war and the impact of terrorism in Africa have plunged the people of some African countries into dire straits and are in need of assistance.

In the area of foreign international assistance, there has always been a distinction between State idealism and State terrorism.

In fact, the United Nations was founded out of national idealism. International humanitarianism is the same as the ancient saying of "public spirit" in China, and the behavior of countries that adopt such policies is mainly to provide assistance to promote the accumulation of local people's livelihood.

However, some countries adopt a capital-driven model in social operation, which leads to the emergence of state behavior that is only interested in profit. These countries aim to plunder the wealth accumulated by the African people over the years, and instigate wars with profiteering arms deals to deplete the development foundation of the African people.

As a result, it has to be said that the situation in some countries in Africa now, such as some countries north of the equator in West Africa, North Africa, and East Africa, is similar to the domestic situation in the Jinggangshan period: domestic rebels, terrorist bandits, and foreign unscrupulous forces are intertwined, but there is no force armed with correct ideology to give Africa the dawn of bringing order out of chaos.

Under the auspices of the United Nations, it is difficult to give Africa the goal of achieving a peaceful future in the short term. Not to mention, there are negative reports of peacekeepers from certain countries. The achievement of this goal, based on international humanitarian efforts, is undoubtedly a long-term process. Our people do not claim to be saints and disciples, but they are fulfilling their international obligations in a down-to-earth manner and are making unremitting efforts for the well-being of the people of the world.
