Chapter 488, who is responsible for the wage increase
The vanity of feudalism and the utilitarianism of imperialism are two completely different things.
What is the vanity of feudalism? Take a chestnut. In feudal China, when ordinary Chinese people faced foreigners, no matter what their status was, no matter what kind of life they lived, they would always have a psychological advantage of being superior to others.
The people of Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty had this mentality in the face of foreign merchants who came from afar through the Silk Road. The people of Guangzhou in the Great Song Dynasty also had this mentality in the face of merchants from various countries who came by sea.
In later generations, some people ridiculed the people of Northeast China and said, "The peasants in Northeast China know the specific content of the country's policies and guidelines, and they can say a lot of truthful things, but they just don't know how to make more money and make their families richer." ”
The person who says such things is the kind of person who has a clear understanding of the vanity of feudalism. For them, if they cannot obtain personal benefits through the policies of the state and the phalanx, so that their actual interests can be increased, then such concern is meaningless vanity.
So what is the utilitarianism of imperialism? Another chestnut. In the highly developed imperialist countries, politicians in these countries tend to sell as their campaign slogans which country has taken away our jobs, which country has taken away our interests, which country has hindered the sale of our goods, and so on.
Although anyone with a clear mind knows that no matter how good these politicians say, the fundamental motivation for them to do anything is their own interests, but by establishing a pseudo-concept, they have kidnapped their own interests and the interests of ordinary laborers, so that the masses of the people in these countries think that in order to have higher wages and better lives, they will launch a military attack on this organization and that country, and send themselves and their children and relatives to the battlefield as cannon fodder. It's a good thing to support.
This is a kind of imperialist utilitarianism.
Wang Shuhui believes that it is much better for the masses of the people to have a utilitarian sense of imperialism than to maintain a vanity of feudalism.
This is not because Wang Shuhui's ideology is backward and reactionary, but because if we compare them, the utilitarianism of imperialism is more realistic and progressive than the vanity of feudalism.
He never thought that anything could be built overnight. For him, as long as the Chinese people are constantly making progress and moving forward, then this is a good thing.
Moreover, from the perspective of seeking truth from facts, the simple concepts summarized by Wang Shuhui in modern society, not to mention that they are not necessarily very accurate in modern society, and the rationality of this principle is even more problematic if the same concept is taken to the 17th-century Baathist China, which has been completely unrecognizable.
For example, during his inspection of various farms and factories from Northeast China to North China, he discovered that the utilitarian desire of the masses of the people was really not fooled by the government, but was naturally formed in the process of building and developing the people's democratic system.
The masses of the people are conscious. However, we must not overestimate the consciousness of the masses of the people. The masses of the people must accumulate real lessons and lessons through real practice, and then sum up and understand these lessons and lessons in a real way, and only then can they truly awaken.
The reason why future generations always want to surpass the people of the past is that the future generations have accumulated more lessons than the people of the past, and they stand on the shoulders of the predecessors.
The awakening of the masses of the people is also a long process of accumulation.
In China's long feudal era of more than 2,000 years, why was the fruits of peasant uprisings always usurped by the feudal landlord class hidden among the masses? The reason lies in the fact that without education in cultural knowledge and basic qualities and accomplishments, the masses of the people are unable to shake off the veil of a large number of religious, ritual, and theoretical foolish means created by the feudal landlord class, to have a realistic understanding of the world, and to clearly understand and sum up experiences and lessons.
This is the fundamental reason why great men launch all sorts of large-scale social movements that many people do not understand. This is because the masses of the people cannot truly become conscious without the kind of practice that is based on scientific theories and has not been thoroughly liberated.
How does the vaccine thing work? A vaccine is a kind of disease that first makes people sick, and then makes people develop antibodies to the disease through mild disease, so that people themselves develop resistance to this disease.
It is on the basis of this principle that the old man will affirm the progressive significance of capitalism. Even to a certain extent, the old man Ma is very happy to see the development of capitalism flourish.
Because the old man knew that the capitalist mode of production, which was very advanced for a certain time, "destroyed all feudal, patriarchal and idyllic relations where it had already gained domination." It ruthlessly severed the feudal fetters that bound people to natural superiority, and it made no other connection between people than naked interests, except for the ruthless 'cash deal'. ”
"It drowns the sacred attacks of religious piety, chivalric zeal, and the sentimentality of the burghers in the icy waters of self-interested intentions. It transforms human dignity into exchange value, replacing countless concessions and self-earned freedoms with a conscienceless freedom of trade. All in all, it replaces exploitation masked by religious and political fantasies with open, shameless, direct, and explicit exploitation. ”
"It simplifies class antagonisms. Society as a whole is increasingly divided into two hostile camps, into two classes that are directly opposed to each other: the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. From the perspective of the old man, the old man Ma will feel that this mode of production is conducive to the arrival of the revolution. It is with a welcoming attitude that he will allow the capitalist mode of production to produce more of its own gravediggers.
You tell a person a very advanced and very scientific truth, but if this person has not passed the practical test of this very advanced and very scientific truth, will he really prove and understand this very advanced and very scientific truth?
From the practical point of view of humanity itself, this is impossible. That's why smart parents will let their children fall instead of protecting their children all the time.
Wang Shuhui knows that feudalism is not good, but if it were not for the sins that the Chinese people have suffered under the feudal system for 2,000 years, would the Chinese people follow the Baath Party on the road of revolution and support the anti-feudal call of the Baath Party? The answer is definitely no.
Moreover, even if the Baath Party has clearly explained the disadvantages of feudalism, and most Chinese people have realized the disadvantages of feudalism based on their own experience, don't those old people in Baath Party China still think that the new China established by the Baath Party is a bad world of bad people and bad people's hearts?
Therefore, if the masses of the people themselves do not feel the disadvantages of imperialism, will they sincerely oppose imperialism?
To some extent, Wang Shuhui's view of the consciousness of the Chinese people is both positive and negative.
The positive reason is that Wang Shuhui knows that as long as he realizes the disadvantages of certain theories and truly feels the disadvantages of those theories in practice, the Chinese people will become particularly vigorous and resolute, and immediately begin to oppose such bad theories.
The negative reason is that, from a historical point of view, the disadvantages of imperialism will not be very obvious until at least after the third industrial revolution. Judging from the reality of later generations, even in the 21 st century, people who do not feel that imperialism is harmful and fantasize that they can share the dividends of imperialism from vested interests still account for a large proportion in China.
Therefore, from this point of view, Wang Shuhui felt that since no matter how much ideological education was carried out, there was no real practice that could make people gain wisdom, then what he could do was nothing more than to do everything possible to make the Baath Party government and the Baath Party organization become the treasurer of the "Chinese Empire Co., Ltd." in the true sense. Let the Baath government and the Baath Party itself become an honest and promising treasurer who wholeheartedly serves the shareholders of the "China Imperial Company Limited", that is, all the working people of China.
It was from this perspective that Wang Shuhui issued instructions to the Central Committee of the Baath Party when he was conducting research in North China. He demanded that the Central Committee of the Baath Party should strictly examine the government's public opinion propaganda to see if there is any content that deceives and deceives the people and carries out propaganda of foolishness.
The Baath government has not yet begun to degenerate into a reactionary regime that deceives the masses of the people, engages in propaganda to fool the people, and serves vested interests. Anyway, regardless of whether this will happen in the future, for the time being, the Baath government still has an attitude of supervision and censorship towards the national capitalists, who are mainly engaged in light industry and the tertiary industry.
At least the fact that such a thing as paying for the failure of the capitalists' investments has not yet occurred in Baath China.
Where does the ass sit? Why do people serve? The Baath Party is still relatively sober in its understanding of these basic issues. Of course, it cannot be ruled out that some individuals in the party have developed some unhealthy tendencies.
At the beginning of the revolution, the Baath Party was very resolute and did not tolerate anything, and smashed the shackles of the feudal ruling class on the masses of the people very thoroughly. The concrete manifestation of this is that the landlord class did not receive any mercy in the revolution, and they were very decisively destroyed by the Baath Party, both mentally and physically.
From the perspective of later generations, the Baath Party's handling of the feudal landlord class and the literati with feudal ideology under the leadership of Wang Shuhui was somewhat overkill.
However, the reality is that it is precisely because the Baath Party's overcorrection of feudalism under the leadership of Wang Shuhui does not leave a dead end that the Chinese people's sense of interests has burst out unprecedentedly.
In the practice of the people's democratic system, the Baath Party has borne fruit on the issue of the Japanese state.
Because of the explosion of the people's sense of interest, the people's democratic system is very clearly embodied in the factories, farms, and other production and sales departments established by the Ba'ath Party.
The masses of the people may still be less active or less progressive in participating in the administration and discussion of state affairs through the people's democratic system and in making decisions on major state affairs. But in Baath industrial and agricultural enterprises, the people's deputies are as close as they can about the profits of factories and farms.
Because of the system of ownership by the whole people, because the wages and dividends of workers are closely tied to the profits of enterprises. So the workers have little opinion that the state takes a part of the profits of industrial enterprises for investment in reproduction. However, they are extremely concerned and supportive of expanding corporate profits and making the cake used to carve up for everyone bigger.
By about 1637 and 1638, this was the case in parts of Baath China. In all enterprises, it is true that party committees are responsible for ideological and political work, but the work of party committees is more focused on improving the cultural knowledge and professional quality of workers and on supervising and promoting enterprises' investment in advanced technology and systems.
In addition to devoting tremendous energy to supervising the financial affairs of the factories, the workers' representative committees, which represent the management and supervision of the enterprises, have become the most concerned matter of the workers' representatives on how to expand the production and sales of the enterprises more effectively, more quickly, and better, that is, how to find more sales outlets for the products of the enterprises.
It is true that the people have a good life, but the people always want a better life.
In the past, people were well fed and clothed, and they were satisfied with having a place to live. But after achieving this goal, the people felt that they should be able to eat meat every meal, wear beautiful clothes every day, and live in bigger houses.
After this goal was achieved, the people felt that they should have a radio and two bicycles in their homes.
After that, the people felt that they should have another record player and a motorcycle.
After that, people will still think that they should have refrigerators, telephones, and cars.
In the future, people may think that a family has two cars, and they drive one for their husband or wife.
Even one day in the future, people may still feel that it is necessary to have one or two gyroplanes of their own.
All in all, the people's pursuit of a better life is endless. In reality, under the current system of the Ba'ath Party, workers want to live a better life, and they want their enterprises to sell more products and make more profits.
Because only in this way can the masses of the people, whose wages and dividends are directly linked to the profits of enterprises, be able to buy good clothes, houses, radios, record players, and motorcycles.
From this point of view, when people want to drive their own rotary-wing aircraft to work, their companies have to sell their products to the moon.
It is precisely for this reason that when Wang Shuhui inspected Northeast China and North China, he found that the masses of the people were very supportive of the Chinese Empire's action against the Japanese state.
The fundamental reason for this is that they have established the notion that foreign feudal rulers are the main reason for the hindrance in the sale of their own products.
For those workers in state-owned factories and farms, the Tokugawa shogunate should have increased its wages and benefits as competition among domestic companies began to intensify. The reactionaries in the Tokugawa shogunate who opposed the sale of Chinese products needed to pay a price for their actions that hindered their ability to live a better life.
At this point, the Chinese Empire could no longer remain indifferent to the Tokugawa shogunate of the Wa Kingdom.
In 4335 and early 1638, Wang Shuhui returned to the Xinjing Special Economic Zone. Subsequently, under the direction of the Baath Party's Central Committee, the Baath Party Military Committee began to formulate military plans against the Wa state.
A military plan called "Liberation of Honshu" soon came out.
