Chapter 469: Negative Typical
Chapter 469 Negative Typical
It is difficult to sit firmly if you rely on others to support you, not the country that you have laid down by yourself
Historically, in the process of founding the country, Korea and Vietnam, although they could not have done without the help of China and the Soviet Union, the regimes of these two countries have been tempered by the tempering and baptism of the long war. No matter how disgusting the Kim family was in later generations, the Workers' Party, the predecessor of the ruling party of North Korea, also participated in the anti-Japanese movement in the northeast, and many of its members also participated in the Chinese Liberation War.
As for Vietnam, needless to say, the war with the French colonizers, and the later war with the United States, also came step by step.
Although these two countries later had poor relations with China, and even later became white-eyed wolves, their regimes continued into the 21st century, through the darkest period of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the discoloration of Eastern Europe. The reason for this is that these two countries "grown" from the bottom.
Yugoslavia, another socialist country in Europe, was eventually disintegrated in the midst of that great change, but the main reason was the strong external intervention and military intervention of Northern Europe.
Suffering forges brilliance!
Whether it is the people who founded New China or the early Soviet Red Army, the very important reason why it will become a clean, efficient and capable organization is that this organization has gone through countless painful trials in the process of birth and growth.
It is very difficult for comrades who are incompetent to survive under the suppression of powerful enemy forces.
People with insufficient willpower retreat, give up, or even rebel in difficult and difficult circumstances.
The brutal environment of struggle is like the most ruthless filter. The large number of speculators, those who are not strong-willed, and even those who are incompetent and "unlucky" who are mixed into the ranks of the revolution are forcibly filtered out.
Most of the people who can survive the harsh struggle environment are fighters with outstanding ability, strong will, and a certain amount of "luck".
Historical China, the Soviet Union. And Yugoslavia, all of which were established after a long period of war and environmental filtering and elimination. North Korea and Vietnam had similar experiences, so these five countries were the most combat-ready of the red camp.
But India did not, and the CPI has not experienced such a "calcination of suffering".
A large number of revolutionary romantics and speculators mingled with this political group.
Extremely skeptical of the CPI's ability to govern, the Chinese did not withdraw their troops immediately after the end of the war, but stationed them here for another three years.
During this three-year period, the Chinese side presided over the implementation of land reform in all the land within 200 kilometers of the new border near China in Northeast India, and abolished the caste system.
But three feet freezing. How could the caste system, which had lasted for thousands of years, be abolished so easily? Taking China itself as an example, with the influence of the New Culture Movement for decades and a series of movements in the first 30 years after liberation, the residual poison of feudalism was barely cleaned up, but as soon as it relaxed a few decades later, all kinds of ghosts, snakes and gods emerged again.
The reason why all the liberated areas of Northeast India were not reformed and the caste system was abolished. It is the factor that Lin Han is making trouble with. Regarding the introduction of land reform and the abolition of the caste system in Northeast India, Lin Han was opposed. The reason is simple: in order to prevent the recurrence of the tragedy of "white-eyed wolves" like the monkeys, the Republic of Indo-North is as bad and wasted as possible.
However, it is obviously impossible for the Chinese high-level leaders in this era to stop erecting the red flag here for this reason. After criticizing Lin Han's "excessively narrow nationalist thinking," Li Zhu Xi accepted his "compromise" plan: the Chinese side would intervene in socialist transformation 200 kilometers from Northeast India near China's new national border. The remaining two-thirds of the area is handled by the PKI themselves.
Regarding this matter, Lin Han said very nicely: The CPI always has to go deep into the grassroots and build its own grassroots party organizations, and China will intervene in everything. What's the difference between this and a puppet?
But what Lin Han didn't say was: Shengmien, fighting Mien, and being grateful when there is comparison. The rest of the land reform close to the British-controlled area will be more difficult. It is not easy to accomplish this task. As for the "real" abolition of the caste system in the Republic of India at the root, the task is even more difficult. Previously, when the PLA was here, it was possible to force the problem with bayonets. Most of the members of this group of PKI are from high caste backgrounds, and they are asked to sincerely give up the benefits brought by the "caste" system and change their own lives, and Lin Han does not believe that these people have the courage and willpower to carry out this policy to the end.
Moreover, from the point of view of the people's hearts, the deliberate radical land reform and the abolition of caste in only one-third of northern India would be in stark contrast to the "incomplete" "revolution" carried out by the CPI itself in the remaining two-thirds.
The people at the bottom in northern India, who have enjoyed the benefits of the "complete revolution", will forever miss the benefits brought to them by the PLA. The other two-thirds of the people of northern India, who did not enjoy the benefits of this outright revolution, will hope that one day the liberation will be carried out again to complete their unfinished business -- this is the secret that Lin Han planted to cultivate the future Indo-North Belt and Road Party.
Lin Han's line of thought is very simple: I hope that the state power around China will be a bastard waste regime, instead of becoming an efficient, honest and truly revolutionary regime. This set is actually a copy of his methods for dealing with the United States, and in essence it is still "worse than worse".
With the help of the new China, the PKI reluctantly established grassroots power through land reform and the abolition of the caste system. During this period, the local feudal remnants were naturally frantically fighting back, and a scene that happened in Pakistan was also staged in northern India.
By the beginning of 1944, the land reform in the five northern provinces of India was basically completed -- so it took a full three years to complete it "nominally". In the first year after the end of the war, the Chinese side completed the land reform in one-third of the predetermined area, and in the process of land reform, a large number of members of the PKI watched and followed. But when the rest is handled by the PKI itself, it's a mess.
The land reform guided by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) is fine, while the areas under the auspices of the PKI itself are facing the armed counterattack and sugar-coated shells of the old forces. All kinds of means emerge one after another, and under layers of resistance, the whole process is completely smoky
In the face of the chaos in the areas where the PKI itself is in charge of these five provinces, the Chinese side did not intervene too much, and only took action when the PKI side took the initiative to ask for help -- mainly by sending troops to suppress it.
By 1944, when the last PLA withdrew from the North India region and the PKI proclaimed the establishment of the North India People's Republic. The land reform carried out by the PKI itself accounted for two-thirds of the country, and a large number of feudal remnants were retained, and the land reform was carried out very incompletely. As for the caste system, although the PKI has nominally abolished the caste system, it has only done so nominally - it has not dragged out the blood-stained diehards on a large scale to judge them for their crimes, and has not criticized, exposed, and smashed this criminal system for decades, digging up ancestral graves and cutting off its roots.
However, this cannot be blamed entirely on the PKI. It will be ten times more difficult to achieve the "great cause" of completely abolishing the caste system in northern India than it is to abolish feudal rituals in China.
Although the untouchables are at the bottom of the pyramid, they are not the largest and are an oppressed minority in India.
The Vaishyas and Shudras are the majority of Indians, belonging to the third and fourth classes of the caste system, only slightly higher than the lowest "untouchables". But the majority of people in this class, while being oppressed as an inferior caste, also enjoy the benefits of oppressing the lower castes and untouchables.
In such a situation. The caste system must be truly abolished. To paraphrase Linhan: a strong ruling party, a violent organization called the Cheka and a Dzerzhinsky-esque "Iron Saints" are needed. An army tempered by blood and fire, and an iron-fisted leader nicknamed "Uncle Iron Man" prepared enough "gallows" to crush the system.
The most important thing is that he has to live a very long life and carry out this policy for a long time.
But none of these conditions are available to the current CPI.
The so-called abolition of the caste system is nothing more than a piece of waste paper in the end in northern India. A law that no one enforces, just for good looks.
Lin Han was very satisfied with the current situation in northern India, and he said at the time:
"What will be the consequences of an incomplete revolution on the" feudal remnants ", now ready-made templates are already available. The rest of the time is just waiting for them to ferment on their own, and everyone is waiting to see a good show. ”
In Lin Han's view, after the withdrawal of the People's Liberation Army, the Republic of Northern India will soon revert to its old ways and become a "freak" even more bizarre than the northern brothers of a certain big country in East Asia in later generations -- of course, history is spiraling forward, after all, it was dragged forward by New China and forcibly moved forward.
For the new China, the existence of the negative example of the Republic of Northern India is not a bad thing.
First of all, the threat of North India becoming a white-eyed wolf like a monkey is gone. Because this kind of political power, which cannot really take root at the grassroots level, has not undergone the baptism of blood and fire, the combat effectiveness of the army is like that bird, and it is impossible for it to grow into a "revolutionary" army.
The second is that a model of negative cases was born in northern India, which will be an excellent teaching material for educating the people of the whole country in the future, and this model of negative material is also conducive to increasing the recognition of the new China by the residents of the "Moran-Sudia-Sadia" area and southern Tibet - this area was cut off from the British after a year of war, and this area belongs to the part of Indian territory that penetrates deep into China's Tibetan territory on the map of later generations, but now this piece of border has been flattened.
The result of this incomplete revolution and half-done work in India is that while creating a large number of hostile people abroad, it also retains a large number of hidden dangers at home.
Ostensibly, through incomplete land reform and the de jure abolition of the caste system, the PKI has gained tremendous support from below. However, it should not be forgotten that the structure of a regime requires a large number of intellectuals to fill the empty spaces.
However, at this time, the CPI was simply unable to find enough party members to fill the grassroots organizations, and their basic power base, the lowest level of Indian civilians, was simply unable to assume this responsibility because of their low cultural level -- in fact, before the founding of the new China in history, because the Chang Kaishen regime collapsed too quickly in the previous three years, and in the process of liberating the whole of China, the red regime was also faced with the problem of being unable to produce enough party members and cadres to control the grassroots and various key departments.
In order to solve this problem, the united front of the chairmanship has taken measures in response to this situation, and has received many remnants of the previous regime.
However, the foundation of the united front of New China was also built on the basis of carrying out thorough land reform first, and completely liberating the people at the lowest level. In the following 20 years, a large amount of educational resources were devoted to the people at the bottom of the country, compulsory education, the elimination of illiteracy, the opening of wisdom, and the raising of the political consciousness of the people -- this is the case, but many problems still occurred, and a series of movements after the founding of the People's Republic of China were born.
And such a problem also appeared in the Soviet Union. At the beginning of the Soviet Union, there was a brutal civil war from the beginning, although the Bolshevik Party under Lenin won the final victory. However, when controlling various places, it was also faced with the problem of a serious shortage of cadres, and had to use a large number of former officials and officers from the former Tsarist Russia to solve the problem. By Stalin's time, the negative effects of this compromise were severe.
How to solve this kind of problem?
Stalin, the iron uncle, did the Great Purge.
By the time the purge began, the Soviet Union had been in existence for more than a decade, a new generation of young cadres had been trained, and Stalin had a reserve army that could replace the personnel of the old system. Stalin brutally smashed, reshaped, and brutally solved the problem by forcibly smashing and reshaping the crooked parts of the original Soviet polity.
-- Of course, the Soviet Union also paid the price, a large number of innocent people were injured by mistake in the process, the national strength was seriously reduced in a short period of time, the young cadres who had just started were inexperienced and could not be suitable for their posts, and the later Nazi Germany was given an opportunity to take advantage of, leading to a crushing defeat in the early stage of the Soviet-German war, and so on. And Stalin's excessively crude way of "solving problems" has buried the biggest trouble, that is, he has countless feuds during his lifetime, and he is liquidated after his death.
In order to buy people's hearts and minds to gain more political support, the liquidators made a big deal of good people, and rehabilitated all the innocent and guilty people in the Great Purge and brought them back into the system -- you know, these people who were affected by the Great Purge, whether guilty or not, became extremely hateful to the Soviet system in the process of the impact, and the consequences of bringing them back into the system were like swallowing a poison pill, laying a deep foreshadowing for the later disintegration of the Soviet Union.
