Chapter I, Section 2
Chapter 1: Guanyin leads the Buddha's decree that Chang'e should be sent by God
Section 2: Xiao Hanqing's Biography "The Law of Three Characters"
The Five Elements Mountain Stone that Sun Wukong broke away in that year first rushed into the air at a height of 10,000 meters, and then fell into the Meitang area of Qiyang County, Yongzhou Prefecture, and became known as the Wulong Mountain that fell from the sky by the locals. If the Buddha used his five fingers to form the five mountains of gold, wood, water, fire and earth, they are all dragon vein holy lands. Damu refers to the red rock of Jinshan, which is called Tianzigang; The rest of the wood, water, fire, and earth are blue rocks. The index finger of the wood mountain is called Taizi Peak; The middle finger water mountain is called the Jade Emperor Peak; The ring finger volcano is called the true dragon rock; The little finger earth mountain is called Banzai Ridge. It was the local land lord who named Wulong Mountain.
When Wukong broke away the Five Elements Mountain Stone and landed in the Meitang area of Qiyang County in Yongzhou Prefecture, Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing, the presiding officer of Meitang Nunnery, was awakened by the earth-shaking sound, and suddenly saw two more piles of rocks on the flat ground. Near the nunnery is a low hill, full of red rocks; Near the loess shop are four towering conjoined peaks, all of which are cyan rocks.
Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing, the word Yuxuan. Born in 585 A.D. and died in 677 A.D. He was 92 years old. Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing and his wife Luo Xiuying gave birth to three boys and one girl. The eldest son, Xiao (Xiao), is aligned; the second son, Xiao (Xiao) Xiangsong; The third son, Xiao (Xiao), is beautiful; Girl Xiao Caifeng.
Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing studied in a private school for three years, and first learned Taoism at the Taoist Temple in Wulong Mountain when he was young. Later, Xiao Taixianni, the presiding officer of the Meitang Nunnery, handed over the affairs of the Nunnery to him. In the second year, Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing met Chen Xuanzang and led Wukong, Wuneng, and Wujing on the way to Tianzhu to learn scriptures, and was cast by Guanyin Bodhisattva and "faxed" to Meitang to raise funeral relics for the Tianzigang Dragon Vein Holy Land. Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing has been the host of the nunnery for life since then.
Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing is proficient in the "Four Treasures of Literature and Ink", and can write a new Wei style calligraphy, and is a well-known local "Xiucai". He presided over the nunnery for decades, and the carefully compiled "Xiao Family Tree" has been handed down to this day and is very classic. According to the order of the heavenly stems and earthly branches, he divided the generations of the people surnamed Xiao into "heaven, earth, country, qing, yi, si, liang, han, xiang, quan, fang, yuan, gong, gao, qi, jun, xianγγγγγγ" 60 generations of recycling,
The "Three-Character Law" written by him has become a classic line for Qiyang (Qidong) artists to "play fishing drums".
Today, Qiyang (Qidong) "Fishing Drum" tune has become a national intangible cultural heritage to be protected.
"Playing fishing drums", similar to stand-up comedy, is equivalent to modern people's "storytelling". It can be performed alone or in combination with men and women. The equipment of "fishing drums" is very simple, it is a bamboo tube with a diameter of 10 cm and a length of 70 cm. This equipment looks simple, but it is very "exquisite" to make. The first is to choose the appropriate length and thickness of the bamboo, and then open up the "bamboo joints" in the bamboo tube. After choosing the bamboo tube, the key is to look for the snakeskin or frog skin of the bamboo tube. If you use snake skin to cover the bamboo tube, you need a big snake weighing more than ten catties; If you use frog skin, you need a large mud frog of more than two catties. When a large mud frog or snake is found. After peeling the skin of the large mud frog or large snake, cover the end of the bamboo tube while the skin is fresh and wet. When the wet skin of the big mud frog or big snake is masked, first wipe the egg green on the surface of the bamboo tube, and then cover the wet skin of the big mud frog or big snake on the bamboo tube. The skin of a large mud frog or snake is particularly firm when dried. When performing, hit with your hands, "Tong, Tong, Tong", the sound is shocking and powerful, penetrating the ears and eyes, and resounding in the sky.
Artists who "play fishing drums" require that their speaking and singing skills must be solid. While talking, the singer hits the "fishing drum".
Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing compiled the "Three-Character Law" "Fishing Drum" lines, which are still circulating in the local area. The locals are incapable of doing "red and white" happy events, so they have to invite artists to "play fishing drums". "Red wedding events" refer to the birth of a child full moon, birthday, marriage, etc. "White happy event" refers to the "funeral". "Playing the fishing drum" has its own inherent pattern. In the past, it was mostly a one-man show. Now it has developed into a "mixed doubles" performance. When an artist comes on the stage, he must first hit a "fishing drum". Similar to the artist who performs "Shandong Kuaishu", he must hit a bamboo board on stage. The more skilled the "fishing drum" technique is, the more sophisticated the artist's skills are. After the artist hits the "fishing drum" on stage, he must first use the "fishing drum tune" to sing. The "Fishing Drum Tune" is accompanied by an artist who plays the erhu backstage. Therefore, in the past, there were only two people who "played the fishing drum", one at the front desk and one at the backstage. Nowadays, there are as many as four to five people "playing fishing drums". Male and female performers at the front desk; A person who plays the erhu accompaniment in the background. In addition, a new "broker" has been added; An "electronic music" player. The more capable the "fishing drum" personnel, the more popular they are. Because, whether the local people are "red or white", they pay attention to the "banquet". From ancient times to the present, the "per capita" cost of setting up a "banquet" has increased with time. The more people who "play the fishing drums", the higher the cost of the host's "banquet". Locals, regardless of whether they are "red or white", do not want to spend a lot of money on entertainers. As a result, most of the folk art of "playing fishing drums" is "hereditary" or "singular". Before the development of electronic musical instruments, "fishing drums" were popular in the local area. At least, from the Tang Dynasty to the present, the "fishing drum" has endured in the local area. When the author was a child, in order to watch a "fishing drum", at a young age of about 10 years old, he sometimes had to walk 10 to 20 miles of mountain roads in the dark, walking with several partners of similar age.
The music of the "Fishing Drum Tune" is beautiful. It comes on the fly, on the fly. The lines of the opening remarks are all based on the artist's acting skills and experience. The main tone of the middle line remains the same. Nowadays, although the lines of Qidong and Qiyang people "playing fishing drums" have been innovated and developed, the main lines have always inherited the "Three-Character Law" compiled by Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing back then.
(Male) holding the bamboo tube in his arms, all the folks listen to (me) clearly. Today, I won't say anything else, just talk about the origin of the word "three". "Three" is from 0 to 9 (numbers), it is the commander, the core, and the soul (which Weng ahahγγγγγγ with one and four tones respectively). The words "three" and "mountain" are homophonic, and it is difficult to distinguish them when rapping. (Uh-huh, uh-huh)
(Female) Nianbai: The layman looks at the liveliness, and the insider looks at the doorway. As the saying goes: officials have official morals, and business has business morals. Roosters pee, each in its own way. Three religions and nine streams, men, women and children, all have a way to survive! Threesomes must have my teacher. This "three" character, in the numbers 0 to 9, it is indeed very mysterious!
(Male) hand hitting the "bamboo tube fishing drum" (singing): There are many scenic spots in the land of China, first say that three famous mountains are introduced into the door. Four rivers and eight rivers Yunshui Road, three mountains and five mountains have many names.

Xiao Zhai, the Xth-generation grandson of Xiao (Xiao) Hanqing, supplemented and added to the islands in the "Law of Three Characters". Here are some excerpts:
The two largest bedrock islands in China are Taiwan Island and Hainan Island.
The main mountain ranges on the island of Taiwan are the Taitung Coast Mountains, the Central Mountains, the Yushan Mountains and the Alishan Mountains. The highest peak, Yushan, is 3,997 meters above sea level.
Wuzhi Mountain, the main peak of Hainan Island, is 1,867 meters above sea level.
Liaodong Peninsula. Changshan Islands is located in the southeast coast of Liaodong Peninsula, with a total of more than 50 islands, which can be divided into three island groups: Shicheng Islands in the north, including Shicheng Islands and large and small Wangjia Islands; The southwest is the Changshan Islands, including the large and small Changshan Islands, Hiroka Island, etc.; The south is the Waichangshan Islands, including Ocean Island, Zhangzi Island, etc.
Shandong Peninsula. Miaodao archipelago is located in the Bohai Strait, with a total of more than 30 islands, which can be divided into three island groups: the north island group includes South and North Huangcheng Island and Da and Xiaoqin Island; The middle island group has Dangji Island, Gaoshan Island, etc.; The South Island Group includes South and North Changshan Island, Big and Small Black Mountain Island, Temple Island, etc.
Zhoushan Islands is the largest archipelago in China, consisting of 1,339 large and small islands, of which Zhoushan Island is the largest, with an area of 472 square kilometers, making it the fourth largest island in China. It is followed by Liuheng Island, Zhujiajian Island, Putuo Island, Daishan Island and Sijiao Island. The archipelago is a seaward extension of the Zhejiang-Fujian uplift belt, which is mainly composed of Mesozoic volcanic rocks. In addition to the Zhoushan Islands, there are also Jiushan Mountain, Yushan and Nanji and Beiji Islands along the coast of Zhejiang. The coastal areas of Fujian mainly include Taishan, Siβ‘, Matsu and Baidog Islands.
Located outside the Pearl River Estuary, Wanshan Islands has more than 150 islands, mainly including Hong Kong Island, Gaolan Island, Shanglan Island, Xiachuan Island, and Dangang, Wanshan Islands and other islands. The islands are mainly composed of granite from the Yanshan period. In addition, there are islands scattered along the coast of South China, such as the East China Sea, Jinzhou, Weizhou, and Xieyang.
Taiwan's Penghu Islands are located in the southern part of the Taiwan Strait, with a total of 64 islands, and the eight waterways are divided into two island groups, the south and the north. The North Island Group includes Penghu, Yuwen and Baisha Island, which form Penghu Port; The South Island Group includes Ba Bao Island, Hua Yu and Lantau Island. The Penghu archipelago is mainly a volcanic island composed of basalt, surrounded by reefs. The Diaoyu Islands are located about 100 nautical miles northeast of Taiwan and consist of Diaoyu Islands, Huangwei Yu, Chiwei Yu, etc. In addition, there are Green Island, Orchid Island, etc.
Alluvial island
Rivers flow into the sea, and sediment often accumulates near the mouth gate to form sand islands, or alluvial islands.
Located at the mouth of the Yangtze River, Chongming Island covers an area of 1,083 square kilometers and is the third largest island in China and the largest alluvial island in China. Before the 7th century AD, the Yangtze River estuary appeared Dongsha and Xisha, and then the sandbar wandered, and the current Chongming Island was developed on the basis of Changsha in the 16th century. Since the 50s of the 20th century, the embankment has been strengthened and the collapse has been stabilized; At the same time, the reclamation of land from the sea has expanded the area of Chongming Island by 80%. Changxing, Hengsha and two sand islands in the south of Chongming Island were also a group of sandbanks, 100 years ago there were still several scattered estuarine swamps, in the second half of the 19th century, they began to be reclaimed, and in the past twenty or thirty years, they have built dikes and artificially promoted siltation, which has gradually become the status quo.
The sand islands of the Pearl River estuary are either developed from the heart of the estuary, or blocked by bedrock islands and formed by sand accumulation in their hidden places. At first, the Pearl River Estuary was wide and sandbanks were scattered, but after reclamation and siltation, the channels were narrow, and the Pearl River Delta was gradually formed. Nowadays, the sand island is still stretching, especially the 10,000 hectares of sand and lantern sand are rising the fastest.
Sand Island on the west coast of Taiwan, the sand islands outside the delta of Turbidity Creek and Zengwen Creek on the west coast of Taiwan are typical sand islands developed from estuarine sand spitters.
Bedrock Island
The islands composed of bedrock account for more than 90% of the total number of islands in China, and they are controlled by the New China tectonic system, and are mostly in the form of archipelago or archipelago
Regular distribution. Taiwan Island and Hainan Island are the two largest bedrock islands in China.
Taiwan IslandTaiwan covers an area of 35,780 square kilometers and is the largest island in China. The island is mountainous and plain accounts for 2/3. The geological structure of Taiwan Island is located in the western Pacific island arc belt, and it returned from the trough to the young fold belt from the Oligocene to the Pliocene, so the neotectonic movement on the island is strong, and the seismic activity is frequent. Topographically, the western part of Taiwan is a plain plateau, and the eastern part is a mountain range. The main mountain ranges are the Taitung Coastal Mountains, the Central Mountains, the Yushan Mountains and the Alishan Mountains, and the highest peak, the main peak of Yushan, is 3,997 meters above sea level. The entire island and mountain range run north-north-east. Rivers mostly develop along faults. The Turbidity Creek forms the largest Xiluo-Tainan alluvial plain in Taiwan, and the Tamsui Creek forms the Pingtung Plain. The east coast of Taiwan is a faulted coast with a straight coastline and steep cliffs.
Hainan IslandHainan Island covers an area of 34,380 square kilometers, making it the second largest island in China. The topography of Hainan Island is high in the center and low in all sides, and the water system is radial. Plateau plains account for 65% of the total area, and mountains and hills account for 35%. The main peak, Wuzhi Mountain, is 1867 meters above sea level. Hainan Island was separated from the Leizhou Peninsula in the early and middle Pleistocene. The basalt rocks in the northern part of Hainan Island are widely distributed and have well-preserved volcanic craters. There are many typical sand bars and lagoon harbors along the coast, and mangrove forests grow in the bays.
Other bedrock islands are found in the following areas:
(1) Coastal areas of the Liaodong Peninsula. Changshan Islands is located in the southeast coast of Liaodong Peninsula, with a total of more than 50 islands, which can be divided into three island groups: Shicheng Islands in the north, including Shicheng Island and Da and Xiao Wangjia Islands; The southwest is the Changshan Islands, including the large and small Changshan Islands, Hiroka Island, etc.; The south is the Waichangshan Islands, including Ocean Island, Zhangzi Island, etc. Among them, Dachangshan Island is the largest, and Ocean Island is the highest, with an altitude of 388 meters. The bedrock that makes up the Changshan Islands is the Sinian-Cambrian strata. Restricted by the checkerboard structure, the islands are arranged according to certain rules. In addition, there are also some small islands scattered within Liaodong Bay.
(2) The coast of Shandong Peninsula. Among them, South Changshan Island is the largest, with an area of 20.4 square kilometers. The archipelago is mainly composed of Pre-Sinian metamorphic rocks, and the island arrangement is consistent with the tectonic line, in a north-north-east direction. In addition, there are Liugong Island, Tianheng Island and Lingshan Island along the coast of Shandong Peninsula, and some land-linked islands have been developed, such as Zhifu Island.
(3) Zhejiang-Fujian coast. (4) South China coast.
(5) The waters near Taiwan. The Penghu Islands are located in the southern part of the Taiwan Strait, with a total of 64 islands, and the eight waterways are divided into two island groups, the south and the north. The North Island Group includes Penghu, Yuwen and Baisha Island, which form Penghu Port; The South Island Group includes Ba Bao Island, Hua Yu and Lantau Island. In addition, there are also sand islands in the Luanhe River, the Yellow River and the Hanjiang River Delta.
Zhejiang Province is located in the East China Sea, with an area of 101,800 square kilometers from 118Β°01' to 123Β°08' east longitude and 27Β°01' to 31Β°10' north latitude. There are more than 2,100 islands, making it the province with the most islands in China.
Coral reef islands
Coral reef islands are mainly found in the South China Sea. After the Miocene, submarine volcanic eruptions formed a series of volcanic reefs that outcropped out of the sea, and reef-building corals grew around them, forming reefs. The subsidence of the Quaternary basin and the rise and fall of the sea surface led to the evolution of the reef into a barrier reef and an atoll. The South China Sea Islands, which are composed of islands, sands, reefs and shoals, include the four major islands of Dongsha, Zhongsha, Xisha and Nansha and Huangyan Dao.
It is estimated that about 90% of the islands are concentrated in Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong provinces and Liaoning, Shandong and Taiwan, which are second only to the above three provinces. The area of China's islands is generally not very large, 90% of the islands are less than 1 square kilometer, and there are only 10 islands of more than 100 square kilometers.
