On the one hand, the Airborne Forces now have a very strong relationship with us, just like Commander Zhang said, he will always regard our composite battalion as a part of their airborne troops, and I think it is also an honor for our synthetic battalion to be recognized by a unit like the 15 th Airborne Army.

On the other hand, Commander Zhang also knew very well that sending people to train with us would only be beneficial to the airborne troops, and if there was any disadvantage, it would be to provide our composite battalion with some more transport planes and a company of paratroopers, which was nothing at all for a large army. However, there are many benefits, such as providing new tactics and equipment for the airborne troops while training.

Now for our synthetic battalion, the sniper is almost the equivalent of the eyes of the entire army arranged in a high place, which will not only provide cover for the attacking troops, but also provide the troops with timely information about the enemy and give warning in advance.

Because of the importance of the sniper unit, they began parachute training immediately after the agent company.

Then I have to consider having the armed police company and the tactical company also conduct parachute training, because in battle, criminals are likely to hide in the deep mountains and old forests where ground vehicles such as automobiles cannot be maneuvered, so it is also necessary to practice rope landing and parachuting. Not to mention the tactical company, as a unit that cooperates with other arms, especially a member of a composite battalion, this ability to quickly move to any position and quickly enter the battlefield is even more needed.

It is precisely because of the need for these trainings. Therefore, we have more and more requirements for the number of transport aircraft, and the Airborne Forces are also very generous and respond to our needs. As a result, the number of transport aircraft increased to more than thirty.

After the agents parachuted with this transport plane, they began training in helicopter parachuting.

Needless to say, the benefits of parachuting with a helicopter are not too much, because the helicopter is slow and the altitude is low, so the paratroopers stay in the air for a short time and the dispersal area is small. A short time in the air means that there is less time left for the enemy to react, and the possibility of the paratroopers being shot by the enemy in the air is also small; The small dispersal area means that the paratroopers are able to assemble and form combat effectiveness in the shortest possible time.

Don't look at the time gap is not very large, but on the battlefield, it is often such a small difference is enough to determine the outcome of the entire battle. Therefore, it is still necessary to practice helicopter airborne.

However, there are pros and cons to everything, and helicopter parachuting is indeed beneficial, but it is precisely because of its slow speed and low altitude that the danger of parachuting has increased exponentially.

However, I don't need to worry about this, and Staff Officer Zhao Jingping quickly formulated a complete set of training programs...... I think the reason why these staff officers were able to come up with a suitable plan so quickly was entirely due to the fact that they also participated in skydiving training and knew what the risks were involved in skydiving.

Their approach is to take a step-by-step approach, using a helicopter to skydive lightly, at high speeds. That is, at the beginning, only one gun was carried without even bullets, so that the helicopter parachuted at a suitable altitude at a faster speed.

It is said that the maximum level flight speed of the Zhi-5 is 210 kilometers per hour, and the maximum speed of the Yun-5 is 256 kilometers per hour, that is, the Zhi-5 flies horizontally at the maximum speed, which is almost the state of the Yun-5 flying slower. Then the altitude was controlled at about seven or eight hundred meters, so this gave the soldiers a lot of time and space.

Then, after the fighters became familiar with the turbulence near the helicopter and knew when it was appropriate to open the parachute, they gradually increased the weight of the fighters and slowly reduced the speed and altitude of the helicopter.

This training program was undoubtedly successful, since the fighters had already increased their weight to full armament and reduced their altitude to 600 meters in just over a month, which was almost at the level of the Soviet helicopter airborne troops.

Of course, because the umbrella equipment currently equipped by our army has many deficiencies, it is difficult to increase the weight and reduce the height.

Just like Chen Shengde said: "The carrying capacity of our generation of parachutes itself is not large, and it is easy to have problems with such a heavily armed low-altitude skydive!" ”

What I learned from Scar is the same, although the fighters have been careful during training, and try to choose flat and easy to jump terrain, but as the altitude decreases and the weight increases, the impact of landing also increases, and by now there are more than a dozen fighters twisting their feet or flashing their waists. Although there are not many injured soldiers, except for Xiao Zhao, they are all minor injuries, not to mention parachuting, the routine training of our synthetic battalion is inevitable.

But this is also a reminder to me that I can't continue like this, I don't want these elite soldiers I have worked so hard to train because of the umbrella and can't go to the battlefield, even if they are injured, they will be injured on the battlefield.

But if we increase the difficulty, not only may we not achieve the goal we expect, but it is also very likely that a large number of troops will be lost before we go to the battlefield!
