Chapter 83: Tactical Training (2)

As I said before, individual tactics don't have much content on paper, but they do a lot of training in practice.

For example, moving and concealing are skills that need to be practiced more and often, and then such as shooting and stabbing, such as night battles, street battles, and jungle battles......

If these things were written in books, there might only be a few main points or precautions, and some of them would still be for commanders to read, but they really need to be practiced and trained to be able to go to the battlefield...... Then how long it takes, practice often, and it can even be said that no matter how long you practice, no matter how familiar you are, it is not too much.

Fortunately, most of my soldiers came down from the battlefield, and although they had no knowledge on paper, they had practical experience, and some of them were even more practical than those taught in the infantry school.

The most obvious of these is shooting.

There was a common belief among the military of this era that "every bullet destroys an enemy...... To be precise, this is not the concept of this era, but a habit that has been formed by our military units for a long time.

It is said that our army has been short of ammunition and equipment since its founding, and the former Eighth Route Army was also called "three guns and eight roads", which means that each person has only three bullets, and after three shots, they have to start charging......

This determines that our army has a tradition of saving ammunition, which can be said to have influenced until now...... In fact, in addition to showing the bravery of "seeing red with a bayonet", the example of close-range shooting mentioned by the instructor before also has the factor of saving ammunition...... Closer to be accurate, that is, to encourage fighters to risk their lives to save ammunition.

The most direct embodiment of this in the step school is that it is taught in large quantities and uses 56 and a half.

However, the use of this 56 and a half is not entirely said to save bullets, another reason is that the 56 and a half range accuracy is better than the 56 type submachine gun, so everyone likes to use the 56 and a half instead of using a submachine gun...... This is actually normal. Everyone likes to shoot far with a gun that hits accurately. But the problem is that on the battlefield, it is better to use 56 punches.

So when Instructor Zhang still used 56 and a half to demonstrate the shooting action, shooting posture and disassembly of firearms to us as usual. The fighters were a little unhappy...... Because we brought our own equipment to enter the foot school, the foot school was not assigned separately, just for the safety of our progress to the school let us hand over the bullets. In other words, most of us use AK47.

But fortunately, this point is not difficult to solve, after all, the structure of AK47 is basically the same as that of 56 Chong, and Instructor Zhang will be taught with a gun.

As for me, of course it's impossible to use that SVD to practice marksmanship anymore...... The distance of this target is only one or two hundred meters, and it is meaningless to shoot it with SVD, and at the same time, it is sometimes necessary to use submachine guns on the battlefield. So I also took a 56 punch to practice like the fighters.

It's just that this 56 rush is really not flattering, saying that it has a range of 300 meters, but it is good to hit the target at a distance of 200 meters, and it is either a problem or something wrong...... Listening to experienced veterans such as Scar and Liang Lianbing, this gun was originally good, and the life span was set at 10,000 rounds when designed, that is, it could shoot 10,000 rounds of ammunition. However, due to the turmoil of the decade, the production process has been greatly simplified...... So the shot became like this, if you don't get a problem with a thousand rounds, it's good, and if you fix and replace it, you can shoot two or three thousand rounds, and you're almost dead.

All right! There are only thirty magazines for 1,000 rounds...... In other words, after a few small battles, a brand new 56 rush may go wrong......

The most useful of these are night battles and jungle battles...... You must know that our army is a master among the masters in these two aspects in history, and during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Volunteers won the Yankees in night battles and mountain battles. (This is determined by the poor equipment of our army.) Nights and mountainous terrain with complex terrain can largely close the gap in equipment. Of course, there is a difference between mountain warfare and jungle warfare. But there are many tactics that can be translated. )

Therefore, our army's tactical accumulation in these two aspects is still quite rich, but due to the ten years of turmoil, there is a gap in the army's little training.

Like in the book...... Before any action, you should carefully observe the environment in the area of operation and imagine where you would be hiding if you were in an ambush. There is a saying to remember: "If you observe more, you will be beaten less".

Another example: the ears are better than the eyes when fighting in the jungle, and the effective observation distance of the eyes in the jungle is sometimes only five to ten meters, while the ears can hear sounds of tens or even hundreds of meters. In the same way, be careful not to let the enemy's ears "see" you......

I have to admit that these are very valuable experiences, and I can even say that I have unconsciously used them in previous battles, but I don't know how to list them as a discipline and an experience...... I always thought it was just to see everyone's reactions, and I even thought that my soldiers knew about it!

It was only then that I realized that this was not the case...... There are more than 100 people in a company, and among these 100 people, there must be good and bad, some are careless and some are careful, some are good at observation and some are strong...... So there will inevitably be some people or even a considerable number of people who don't notice these details, and now put this experience on the bright side for everyone to learn, and everyone just said "oh", it turns out that there is such a thing.

And then train that experience a few more times...... In fact, the training method is not difficult, that is, let the two troops go into the jungle to find each other and ambush each other, and the soldiers who practice a few more times will naturally have the habit of observing and arguing.

Compared with other cadets in the starting school, the advantage of our unit is that they have combat experience.

The benefits of this experience are not just some of the lessons we have learned on our own in battle, in fact...... The recruits who had just joined the second company had only fought two battles in total, and their combat experience was strictly about the same as that of the cadets who had just entered the same grade.

The benefits of this experience are reflected in the fact that the soldiers have an intuitive sense of war and a heartfelt fear...... I've seen the battlefield, of course I know what's going on on the battlefield, and at the same time, there are guns, cannons, corpses and blood on the battlefield, especially when there is a danger of losing your life at any time...... All of this creates an invisible pressure in the hearts of the warriors.

There is no doubt that this pressure will force the fighters to devote themselves to their studies...... If we don't invest in it, if we go to the battlefield again in the future, these are all life-saving skills, so we are much faster than other classes in terms of learning enthusiasm and mastery speed.

The students in the other classes all said...... No wonder it's a company of heroes, this momentum is different!

What they don't know is that this is not because of the strength of the weishenme, nor is it because of the heroic company...... And just because we've seen the battlefield, there's more pressure to survive!

The more difficult part for the fighters is to look at the map to find points and determine the direction and other training...... The difficulties mainly came from the low level of education of the fighters.

I remember that when Instructor Zhang was doing statistics, when one-third of the soldiers raised their hands to indicate that they were illiterate, one-third had difficulties in recognizing words...... This situation can't help but make me dizzy, if you can't read, what was the previous class listening to?

So this map has to start with literacy, fortunately, several platoon commanders under my command have no problem in literacy, the most authoritative of which is the reader, the most domineering is Scar, and the most angry is Liang Lianbing...... Because everyone remembers his story of "giving a kiss", and this story is still widely circulated, and the old soldier passes it on to the new soldier, and the new soldier will pass it on to the new soldier...... There is definitely the possibility that it will become a history from generation to generation.

If it was in the past, then there would be no problem, everyone secretly passed it and laughed, and now the platoon commander has to organize his soldiers to be literate...... That's a big problem. Because those soldiers would often write "piggyback on a kiss" and then raise their hands ...... "Platoon commander, how to pronounce these words!" ”。

was so angry that Liang Lianbing scolded his mother, and he almost didn't beat anyone.

Zhang Fan didn't know what it meant for the soldiers to do this, and when someone secretly told her the story of "kissing her", she only laughed so much that she couldn't get up holding her stomach for a long time.

As for me...... I don't know if it's because the old man has laid a tactical foundation for me before or because I have systematically studied knowledge from modern elementary school to university, although I don't work hard in my studies, but I can say that I have to deal with it for exams.

These knowledge usually seem to be useless, such as what high mathematics, physics, chemistry or something, how much will be really used in life, but in the process of solving problems and calculus, a person's thinking ability, analysis ability, imagination ability, learning ability and so on will be unconsciously tempered.

Of course, the coordination of hands and feet depends on some sports, such as playing basketball...... The mind often releases some signals to direct the hands and feet to make various movements, and after a long time, the hands and feet will naturally be flexible and react quickly.

This is the root cause of Weishenme, as a high school student, that no matter what he does, he will be easier to learn than other soldiers, and I think this is also the reason why the army reform requires a high level of Chinese.

Anyway, I'm barely an undergraduate, even though this diploma is mixed...... CET-4 is a shameless test. But how can I say that I am also a modern man, and I am still the son of an old man...... Exercise! When did I start to be proud of the old man's son?

So these tactical actions slipped away without practicing a few times, and the guns could be loaded with their eyes closed after being disassembled a few times, not to mention marksmanship, looking at pictures, etc., and they were completely ahead of the company.

Later, I heard Instructor Zhang talk about it...... If he hadn't seen the process of never coming to the meeting with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed that I could have mastered it so well in such a short period of time.

All right...... This seems to make sense with the set of survival pressure on the battlefield, and I don't want more and more people to suspect that I don't belong to this era like Zhang Fan. (To be continued......)
