But now it is much easier, first of all, a dozen artillery observers have been prepared to quickly observe the various firing points on the 518.6 high ground by the bright light of flares...... This is too easy for our troops, you must know that almost everyone in our army can observe the coordinates, and at this time, because the artillery position, that is, the mortar battery, is on the front line, the observation process will be much simplified...... The observation of the coordinates of long-range artillery fire requires the high ground or iron tower with known coordinates as a reference, and now the artillery position is in a known location, so this step can be omitted, and the distance and elevation can be calculated directly in the artillery position, and it is more accurate.

So before a round of flares was finished, the situation on the 518.6 heights was almost mastered, followed by a batch of incendiary bombs...... The effectiveness of incendiary grenades can be great in this jungle, especially in the dark of night.

First of all, of course, it has a lethal effect, a row of incendiary bombs went up to the 518.6 heights and soon turned into a sea of fire, and the exposed Vietnamese troops were certainly not spared.

The second is the effect of burning the cover...... The jungle in Vietnam is full of grass and trees, and these things were originally camouflaged by the Vietnamese army, but the incendiary bombs went up like this...... It's basically lit, and you can't hide even if you want to.

The most important thing is to illuminate and guide the tanks and infantry...... The lighting effect of incendiary bombs is indeed not as good as that of flares, which will not kill people when hit, in other words, flares will occupy the artillery establishment. But incendiary bombs are different, they can also attack the corresponding target while illuminating......
