Volume 17 Hello everyone

When I got home, my mother naturally entertained me with delicious food and drink every day. It's not that college is without winter vacation homework, but the amount of homework is basically negligible. Moreover, the winter vacation in the Northeast is particularly long, with early and late starts, almost 2 months. That's why my high school classmates didn't come back after I went home. Therefore, the daily life after that is basically sleeping, eating, and playing on the computer. Eventually, a few of my classmates who were also studying in the north came back, including my lesbian table. So we all made an appointment to go to Xitang, which was the first time I went to this ancient town built along the water.

Stella was the planner of our trip, and she sat in the back row of me in high school. There were four people on this trip, and I was the only boy. Stella checked out a lot of tips for this excursion and did her homework. Under her guidance, we slipped into the scenic area through the alley at night, and then stayed at the inn that Stella had pre-inquired about. The inn is also built on the waterfront, and the wooden windows can be opened to see the night view along the river. We booked two rooms, one large and one small, the three of them live in the big one, in addition to the decoration of my house is the style of the Republic of China, the furniture is similar to the general hotel. And the big room was full of wooden furniture. In addition, the most impressive thing is a large carved wooden bed from the former owner's house. Whether it was an old object or not, I didn't pay attention to it at the time. I only remember that Stella said that when you come to Xitang, you must stay in this kind of inn, look at the night view of the river, and then sleep on the carved wooden bed for one night, so that you can feel like a big lady.

Put down your luggage, lock the door and we're out the door. We walked around the whole ancient town along the riverside promenade, and when we saw snacks along the way, we bought them for dinner, and walked around while eating. Because it was a meal, there were a lot of tourists, and we almost got separated. You can't hear the traffic outside in the old town, and occasionally a bicycle will pass by you. The dim lighting under the corridor reminded me of the feeling of living in the old gate when I was a child. We saw a lot of people putting up lanterns, so we bought a few of them. In order to promote, merchants have given different objections to each color of river lanterns, and we are naturally on the set. After choosing a feng shui treasure, we lit the river lanterns, made a wish, and put them into the water one by one, hoping that our dreams would come true in the coming year.

The night view of Xitang is very beautiful, and under Stella's strong recommendation, we took a canopy boat together and went down the river to truly taste the water town in the south of the Yangtze River. Later, when we got off the boat, we were embarrassed to find that all the river lanterns we had just made a wish for had run aground at a bridge hole.

We walked around until 8 o'clock, and the road was already sparsely crowded. At that time, Xitang was not very commercial, and the ancient town seemed to be going to sleep after 8 o'clock in the evening. But we always feel that the time is still a little early, and we don't go to bed so early even when we are in school. So we stopped at a small bar after one last lap, where they ordered a cocktail and I asked for a beer. Expected to be a bar, I don't think it's as big as the place to eat skewers in the Northeast, except for the owner of the four of us. It was also the first time in my life that I had entered a bar, and I had no experience with it, and I found it boring after two sips of beer. We chatted for a while, drank our respective drinks and headed back to the inn.

Maybe I was a little bit of a bed-right, and I woke up early the next morning. I was surprised, after all, when I came home from the holidays, I would not wake up until noon. The sound of a conversation between several of us broke the silence of the early morning and woke up the ancient town. We had breakfast at a breakfast stall, tofu brains and steamed buns. This breakfast once again reminded me not to eat in the scenic area!!

The ancient town during the day has a different taste, and according to last night's route, we walked around again and bought some souvenirs. During this period, Stella popularized to us what beauty is. And because "if you lean on it, you will become a beauty", she resolutely prevented me from resting there, and the three beauties naturally relied on one of them.

We took a group photo at the famous arch bridge in Xitang and then walked towards the exit. Along the way, I saw some new buildings in Xitang that have not yet been opened, and there are even water and land theaters. Although it is also built according to the ancient style, after all, it has not experienced the baptism of time, and it seems that it always lacks that cultural heritage. In order to make the trip worthwhile, I still clicked a lot of useless photos.

After the trip, I spent another week at home, and finally, my classmates came back. Stella wanted to hold a class reunion, but after graduation, she didn't see everyone, so she hurried to get together during the winter vacation. I don't like to deal with strangers, but I like to be with familiar people. The classmates who used to get along day and night suddenly haven't seen each other for half a year, it's really nostalgic. So the two of us acted separately, QQ, phone calls, text messages, and on-campus ...... Do everything you can to reach out to your classmates, ask about your availability, and match the best day to party. Stella was very generous and set the meeting place at her house, and the content of the event was naturally a barbecue and picnic.

I woke up early that day, Stella's house was in the country, and I didn't have a driver's license, so I had to follow the instructions she gave me to take the hailing car to my destination. Wow! It's so luxurious! Big villa, big garden, big living room...... The local tyrant is my friend!! At the end of the day, several of my classmates were already sitting in the living room. We drank tea and chatted about our respective university lives. Later, as the students arrived one after another, more and more people joined the topic.

Stella and I counted the numbers and they were all there. We invited everyone to go to the stream for a barbecue. It was a bit of a long way, but we thought it was a short time because we all had so much to talk about along the way. I even told them about the green bow girl, which vividly told the history of the first love of "tough foreign teacher", "frolicking in the snow", and "sorrow from it", and we arrived on the beach before the story was finished. The girls are all good wives and mothers, washing vegetables, picking firewood, and skewers. The boys were not idle, lighting a fire, cutting meat, grilling, and cooking a hodgepodge...... Everyone has a clear division of labor and tacit understanding, just like a whole. I was very happy and touched. Although they are thousands of miles apart, although they no longer get along day and night, the friendship of classmates will not change with the passage of time. In my spare time, I record many moments with my camera, trying to leave images of each person, so that many years later, our youth must be full of colorful memories.

In the evening, Stella's mom and dad kindly left us for dinner. Because there were so many people, they also called Stella's aunt and uncle to help. After eating, there was no last train, so they arranged for a car to take a few of us who live in the city back one by one. It's embarrassing to think about it now.

After the group reunion, we started the group meeting again, and the hometown snacks in the snack street are the places we must check in: tender and juicy tofu xiaolongbao, spicy and fragrant lamb bones, crispy roast chicken thighs on the outside and tender on the inside, stinky tofu spring cakes with a super sense of satisfaction, and of course, for me, the dried vegetable cakes are naturally indispensable. Eating alone may be the same thing, but when several classmates rush to eat together, it is really delicious.

We naturally can't live up to the kindness of the teacher, we took advantage of the high school before school to invite to visit the teacher of our alma mater, and cheekily rubbed a dinner. After dinner, we strolled through the former campus, looking at the younger students who studied on their own in the evening and were still working hard to write, and our hearts were full of nostalgia and emotion. And I just want to say: Hello everyone!
