But at the same time, they unconsciously wanted to defend the interests of old Russia and refused to make unconditional compromises with Germany.

All in all, this is a group of revolutionaries with ideals and convictions, and although their ideals and beliefs are somewhat naïve and anachronistic, they are much more comfortable than the pure politicians of the right wing of the Social Revolutionary Party and the Cadet Party. On 28 November, the day of the opening of the Constituent Assembly, according to the original agenda, all the delegates of the Constituent Assembly will gather together to discuss and establish a truly legitimate new regime in a democratic and civilized manner.

However, there was a problem: on this day, only 172 delegates arrived on time, which was far from a quorum (majority) according to the previous Bolshevik Resolution on the Opening of the Constituent Assembly. Therefore, from a legal point of view, the opening of the conference under such circumstances cannot be opened at all, that is to say, the postponement has become a foregone conclusion.

Let's leave aside for the moment what the 715 delegates are talking about, and there are less than 200 people coming, and let's just discuss this fact -- is it reasonable that there are not enough people to hold a meeting? It should be said that it makes sense not to open the session, regardless of the country's parliament. Always count the number of people who appear first. The quorum was not reached. Then it can't be held.

It is not too much to say that the Bolsheviks rejected the demands of the right wing of the Socialist-Revolutionaries, the Mensheviks and the Cadets for an immediate congress. If the people are not gathered, why should there be a meeting?
