Volume 1: Theory Chapter 31: A Province and a Country
We often say that Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries are only equivalent to a province of China in terms of geographical strength, while Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Spain and Argentina are only equivalent to a province of China in terms of geographical strength, or at most equivalent to two large provinces, but among these countries, except for Thailand and Vietnam, football strength is much stronger than China, but according to the current development momentum of football in various countries, Vietnam and Thailand may become China's other two sufferers in football in the future.
In China, the football strength of the provinces is also very uneven, Liaoning Province has undoubtedly been the strongest province in Chinese football, the number of Chinese players in the Chinese Super League, Liaoning Province has always been able to occupy more than 25%, in the heyday Liaoning players can even account for one-third of the total number of domestic players in the Chinese Super League, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangdong, Henan and other places, are also important places for talent training in Chinese football. However, Shaanxi, Gansu, Guangxi and Fujian provinces have always been in the lower reaches of the football map of China's provinces, of course, there are many others at the same level as Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian provinces.
Shaanxi, Gansu, Guangxi and Fujian and other provinces do not have stable professional league teams, and the number of professional players produced is not large.
Although it is a weak province in football, but in terms of population and economic strength, the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian are stronger than North Korea, and they are also stronger than the war-torn Syria, then, here, the author puts forward a hypothesis: assuming that the development policy of Chinese football is basically unchanged, but it is okay to kick out the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian, or only one of the provinces, and let the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian develop football independently, then, over time, for example, 15 years, 20 years, 30 years, after these years, Can the football teams of the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou, and Fujian defeat the Chinese national team, which is developing according to the current football policy?
This is what the author hypothesizes: a competition between a province and a country.
Some people may say that Taiwan Province is independently developing football, but the football strength of Taiwan Province may not be as good as that of Fujian Province or Guangxi Province, so the author proposes to let Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian provinces develop football independently, so will the final effect be the same as the strength of football in Taiwan Province?
The author believes that there are two main reasons why the football strength of Taiwan Province is so bleak: first, the people of Taiwan Province are not very interested in football, which is far less than the football enthusiasm of the people of Japan and South Korea; Second, Taiwan Province has no confidence in whether it can develop football well, and the history of China's decline and fall in modern times has also deeply affected the people of Taiwan Province, and the football in the mainland of the motherland has been extremely bleak, which has also deeply hit the self-confidence of Taiwan Province in developing football, making the people of Taiwan Province think that their football IQ cannot be very high.
Therefore, whether it is the author's assumption that the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian will develop football independently, or Taiwan Province, which has been independently developing football for decades, there are two very important factors for the development of football, one is that the people should be interested in football, and the other is that the people should have confidence in themselves.
What if you don't have either?
It is very easy to do, the way is to 'brainwash', with non-stop propaganda and preaching, to teach the people of a region to be interested in football, confident that they can develop football, as long as they can talk about the sky, can always gradually attract the interest of the people, and gradually improve the confidence of the people.
There is no road in the world, but when there are many people walking, there is a road; There is no passion for football in the world, and if there are more propaganda words, there will be enthusiasm for football. Therefore, the author believes that if we pull out the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian and let them develop football independently, and the model of football development in other provinces in the country remains unchanged at all, then as long as we continue to carry out propaganda and preaching, and tell them that 'after a period of independent development of football, you will not only be able to defeat the national team, but you will have all the basic conditions to become a world football power'. After a long period of propaganda and preaching, empty words will really become facts.
Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou, and Fujian provinces all have sufficient populations (at least more than North Korea); They also have a certain economic scale, even in the poor province of Gansu, its economic strength should not be underestimated; As for the football interest of the people of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian provinces, although the development of these four provinces has not been good in terms of professional football, but in terms of amateur football, according to my field observation, the amateur football boom in these four provinces is very high, and Guangxi Province and Fujian Province established their own football leagues many years ago.
The football league in Guangxi Province is called the 'Guizhou Super League', which is, of course, an amateur league, the football league in Fujian Province is called the 'Fujian Super League', of course, it is also an amateur league, and the provincial football league is also the 'Zhejiang Super League' in Zhejiang Province. Do the three provinces of Fujian, Guizhou and Zhejiang not have the strength to form their own professional leagues? Of course not, the three provinces of Fujian, Guizhou and Zhejiang just don't have the right reason to form their own professional leagues, and they don't have enough confidence to form their own professional leagues.
Just imagine, not to mention Zhejiang Province, which has a very developed economic strength, but only the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian, if they can all form their own professional leagues, and then seriously develop for twenty or thirty years under the premise of full confidence, and the football development model of our other provinces remains unchanged at all, then, twenty or thirty years later, the football teams of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian provinces can really beat the Chinese national team like Japan, South Korea and North Korea.
This is true not only of the four provinces of Shaanxi, Gansu, Guizhou and Fujian, but also of other provinces, all provinces of China, let them develop football independently, and constantly preach to them, telling them that 'you have all the basic conditions to become a football power in the world'. After a long period of propaganda and preaching, empty words will really become facts.
When you have all the basic conditions to succeed, first of all, you can only succeed if you believe that you can succeed.
