Act XXVI. Late-night revenge on society
"The Lonely Gourmet" ......"
Oriana repeated the name softly, as if the word had supreme magic, she felt more and more that this idea was too good, should it be said that it was the son of the Ian Gray family, even if it was rumored that Reiner was addicted to pleasure and did nothing, but now it seems that this guy has a world in his head!
"A little suggestion, Ms. Oriana, you can ask the author to add the mental activity of the protagonist when writing, use various metaphors to set off the food, and when the reader's imagination is pushed to the extreme, take a can of Coke."
Reiner casually mentioned that a food travelogue can easily be written as a simple menu without whetting people's appetites, and only a detailed description can make people's appetite move and make their mouths flow.
"At the same time, every novel should start with a little introduction to the story, so that the reader can pick it up at any time, and even if you start reading it in the middle, you won't get confused."
"I understand, I understand!"
Oriana quickly grasped what Reiner meant.
"By the way, is the Daily Priest published every morning?"
At that point, Reiner thought of some bad taste.
"Well, yes, every morning, the newspaper is delivered to the subscriber's home, what's wrong with that?"
Asking strangely, Oriana felt as if the headmaster in front of her had endless ideas, and each one was great, and subconsciously turned into a tone of inquiry.
"No, that's fine."
Reiner thought about it and didn't interfere too much with the other party's operations, otherwise he would have wanted the newspaper to be published in the evening, so that people who read the novel would shout late at night for revenge against society.
"Can you find the right person to write about?"
"Of course, our contracted author was already good at writing short stories in the city, but he was transformed because of the popularity of adventure themes, and in addition, in terms of food, I can find Baron Goode as a consultant, don't you know, after Coke cured his anorexia, this baron now has a comfortable daily life."
Oriana said excitedly, eager to leave immediately and go back to these things.
"Should we draft a contract?"
Reiner saw that the other party had been largely convinced by himself, and stood up.
"Okay, I've got a template here."
Oriana apparently came prepared, pulling out a co-op agreement from her bag that only needed to be changed in part.
Eventually, they used "Daily Priest" to serialize "Lonely Foodie" to promote Coke, and Reiner reached an agreement on the terms of paying for the advertising according to the best standard, which translates to a good deal for Reiner only to pay five silver coins a month to get good publicity.
You know, Claire can eat ten silver coins in one meal.
Oriana also visited her daughter before leaving, but Reiner did not accompany her, and only asked Claire to come with her.
Sitting in the principal's office, Reiner still had work to do, and he first replied to the letter of invitation from Griffin the Monthly Alchemist, offering to publish it, and then wrote a very simple letter to Antoine.
That would allow him to start producing Coke at full capacity.
......
A day later, Crescent Academy was on campus.
After a day of study, a history of magic, a basic theory of magic, and two self-study classes, Evanna returned to her dorm room after dinner.
Her roommate, Xia Luo, has not yet returned from the library, and since Xia Luo had been to the principal's office that day, the already hard-working girl has worked harder, and almost every day she has to come back from the library before the lights go out.
Evanna is naturally very supportive of this, she knows Xia Luo's family background, and only by becoming an excellent mage can she get out of trouble.
Evanna took a hot shower, changed into her pajamas, and picked up the copy of "Daily Priest" in her hand.
Her mother was the editor-in-chief of the newspaper, so theoretically, she would become the editor-in-chief of the newspaper in the future, and from a young age, Ivanna had been trained to have a keen instinct as a journalist, and she herself loved related things, even when she came to school to study magic, she also subscribed to this newspaper for study.
Of course, Evanna naturally knows that her newspaper is facing a crisis, and many of the writers she originally cooperated with have gone to other houses, and the content of the newspaper has become barren.
Yesterday, her mother, Oriana, also came to the Crescent Academy, and it was not clear what Evanna was doing.
With a sigh, the precocious girl opened the newspaper and did her daily routine of reading training.
But just as she prepares to skip the boring version of the novel, Evanna discovers that the original lengthy adventure story is gone, replaced by a new serialization.
"The Lonely Gourmet?"
The title reads, accompanied by a rather nostalgic illustration of a middle-aged gentleman holding an umbrella and walking down the street at night.
Intrigued, Evanna began to read the novel.
The story is very simple, the protagonist of the novel, Baron Goode, is a person who has studied all kinds of antique treasures, and is invited to travel to various places, but the novel has very little description of this part, and only a few strokes have passed it, and the focus of the story is on the process of Baron Goode finishing his work and finding food in the streets and alleys.
The hard work of the day is in stark contrast to the tempting food, and the author spends a lot of pen and ink describing the appearance, material, and taste of the food, combined with the protagonist's rather interesting inner activities, which makes people feel hungry and hungry.
At the end of the novel, the protagonist also takes out a magical drink called Coke, which dispels all the fatigue of the whole day with just one sip, and the words are full of relaxation.
Of course, the author did not forget to label Warren Pharmacy, the only designated supplier of Coke in Pastal.
Evanna put down the newspaper, still in a trance, as if immersed in the quiet night and excellent food, and the mysterious drink Coke made her super curious, how delicious it is to make the protagonist show that kind of expression.
Thinking back to today's dinner, Evanna felt that her life had been wasted, and that she had eaten too roughly.
Goo –
Her stomach crumbled out of place, and Ivanna searched the room, but could not find anything to satisfy her tongue, not even a small slice of bread.
Late at night, alone and hungry, after reading the article "The Lonely Gourmet", Evanna immediately felt a deep malice.
"The person who wrote this novel clearly wanted to take revenge on society!!"
