The real practice is not in the mountains, not in the temple. It cannot be divorced from society, it cannot be divorced from reality. To live in practice, to practice in life. Some people meditate all day long, kowtow, pluck prayer beads, and practice for many years, but the habits and troubles are still the same, and the personality and mentality are still the same, and there is no change, which is not a real practice.
Buddhism and Taoism both talk about the reincarnation of cause and effect, but in fact, the principle of cause and effect is very simple and easy to understand, but because it cannot be seen or touched, many people ignore the impact of cause and effect on life. When a certain cause is accumulated, it will lead to corresponding effects, which is the inevitable law of the development of things.
Some causes and effects cannot be observed, examined, and explored with the naked eye, so it is difficult for people to accept. And through the practice of Buddhism,
Cultivating the path opens one's eyes to see or feel these causes and effects, and then attains wisdom, which is called enlightenment.
Once enlightened, one's thoughts, words, and deeds will revolve around the cause of goodness, so when the cause of good accumulates to a certain extent, a kind of good result will be formed, which is called good retribution. This kind of good retribution is mostly embodied in longevity, wealth, well-being, virtue, good death, etc., and then stay away from disasters.
Practitioners are generally divided into rebirth and entry. Birth and practice, that is, to escape into the empty door, chant and confess every day, have no quarrel with the world, realize the avenue, and attain purity. Entering the WTO to practice, that is, practicing in the red dust, cultivating the mouth, ears, heart, eyes, and so on.
The practice of joining the WTO is mostly to persuade the people of the world to do good deeds and accumulate virtues, so that the whole nation, the whole country, the entire social group, the small organization, the family, and the individual are in a state of harmony, and from this they can realize the true knowledge of the Great Dao. Cultivation is self-discipline, the Tao is natural, and it is necessary to transform oneself and keep one's body and mind in a state of harmony.
Doing good deeds can make people have a heart for the world and an open mind; Cultivating the mouth, he often treats people with kind words, does not argue with others, does not quarrel with others, and is polite to others everywhere; Cultivating the heart is right-hearted, good-hearted and inviolable, and tolerant of all rivers; Cultivating one's eyes makes oneself have good in one's eyes, and isolates the vulgar and unjust things from the outside, so as not to disturb people's hearts.
ear trimming, you can selectively listen to the information in your ear; Practice, then act dignified, not greedy, can be exemplary. Therefore, a practitioner is more peaceful, benevolent, unfazed, very secure, easily trusted, highly respected, and easy to get help from others to become prosperous, and these are all blessings obtained by practice.
Entering the world and being born are not the same as the two ways of practice. Entering the WTO to practice means cultivating one's self-cultivation and understanding the true opportunity of the Great Dao in all aspects such as doing things and being a person in the red dust, and will not harm the interests of others because of practice. On the contrary, because of the unity of words and deeds, it is respected by everyone, and the so-called righteous people have more help and the unrighteous have little help. As long as you are pious and persuade sentient beings with good words, treat everything and everyone with kindness, and influence others with good deeds, the effect is the same.
Otherwise, even if there is a shrine and an altar, it is absurd and ridiculous to be absent-minded, have no piety at all, usually do not believe in God, and only ask for the protection of the gods after an accident. Therefore, when practicing at home, the important thing is the heart and the action. The more sentient beings you come into contact with, the more opportunities you will have to accumulate good fortune, and the merit will naturally be great. If you live in a temple and chant sutras and confessions every day, if you are not pious and devote yourself to practice, but instead chase fame and fortune in the name of Buddhism, you will get more retribution than those who practice at home.
Cultivation is not a way to see through the red dust, to stay away from the world, or to be unable to adapt to society, but to obtain higher wisdom and more blessings. Gods generally only protect the good, and it is not the gods who protect the wicked, but the demons.
Therefore, it is not necessary to look at the practitioner differently, let alone misunderstand the practitioner, because the higher levels of wisdom are usually reserved for those who have the root of wisdom. Most people in the world only see endless desires such as fame, fortune, money, food, drink, and merry, and these desires are precisely the stumbling blocks on the road to wisdom. So, mostly

As a practitioner, you can improve your life. Spiritual practice usually allows a person to understand what harmony is, what is good and bad, and then know how to extinguish the causes of evil before disasters occur, and then to stay away from them. Practitioners, who do not plant evil causes, do not suffer evil retribution. Practitioners, know the beauty of giving, not endless taking. Practitioners, understand that a few decades of life are just a moment for endless reincarnation.
As a result, many practitioners have enjoyed many blessings. However, those who indulge in greed all the time often have to go through varying degrees of suffering before they realize that all kinds of temptations and desires are all tricks that obscure our eyes in search of wisdom and make it difficult for us to extricate ourselves. These are obviously not the meaning of human existence. Being greedy for the small will inevitably lose the big, and giving up the small and naturally getting the big will be complementary, all of which are complementary and balanced. The realm is different, and of course there is a difference in what you see.
Compassion is to give pleasure, and compassion is to pull out suffering. Compassion is not self-centered, but based on the equality of all beings. When we understand the meaning of compassion, we naturally refuse to kill sentient beings to feed me, naturally refuse to take undivided possessions for me to squander, and naturally refuse to covet beauty and have evil intentions. Because we have realized that chickens, ducks, pigs, and fish are not two with us, and that goods, wealth, and beauty are not something that can be coveted and coveted.
And sentient beings who commit murder and adultery are generally just stupid. And when we understand compassion, we don't think of many of Avalokiteshvara's inspired deeds as superstitions. Because we know that the Dharmakaya of a bodhisattva is one with us, only one with us, so I feel something and he responds to it, but it must be sincere. Flowers and plants also have life and cannot be picked at hand. Picking flowers and plants is unethical. All beings are equal, all beings are equal.
The sixth realm, the realm of contemplating the heavens, seems to have a great connection with the Dharma.
Xie Baoshu preached the scriptures through the monks, and he had a lot of understanding in his heart, and he felt that the matter of observing the sky was right in front of him.
The world seems to be unpredictable, and the times are changing with each passing day, but in the dark, there is an invisible force that controls the operation of society. If you can see through this power and law, and see through the avenue of heaven and earth, you will find that no matter how big the wind and waves, no matter how big the changes, it is nothing more than that!
The universe is like a big whirlpool, which can be seen as a rotating energy: this whirlpool contains a huge "potential energy", if we can move with the energy that conforms to the universe, this is to follow the trend, and we can "sit on the ground and travel 80,000 miles a day". And if our direction is opposite to the direction of the general trend of the universe, we will inevitably encounter a great resistance to it.
The way of heaven is the potential energy of the universe, the law of the operation of all things, and the wave of development of the times!
The gains and losses of life are all due to the cycle of the times, and the fate of people is indeed very different, some people are smooth, some people are difficult and bumpy, the reason for this difference, to a greater extent, should be attributed to whether a person can take advantage of the momentum to exert force, the biggest difference in fate, in fact, is the difference in the principle of human force.
Many people say: To live is to change the world
The reality is that the world has its own objective laws, and no one can change the world. The trend of the world is mighty, those who go along with it prosper, and those who go against it die. Once a person sees through the law, follows the law, and steps on every node of change, he is a god!
Such a person can be canonized as a god!
Man is not as good as heaven, but what is the virtue of heaven? Virtue can protect a person's life, and virtue can also help people who are born with ups and downs to turn danger into relief. People's wealth and poverty, poverty can be longevity, among which longevity is the most difficult to calculate, because it involves many factors other than the eight characters.
For example, it is often said that accumulating virtue can prolong life, and devading virtue will reduce life. There is also a saying that when you eat everything, you will end your life. The "Book of Songs" also says: People should always think about what they have done, whether it is in line with the way of heaven. A lot of good fortune, you don't have to ask for it, you will naturally have it. Therefore, it is all up to you to seek good and evil.
Although it is said that it is destined by God, it can still be changed. As long as you expand your original moral nature, try to do more good deeds, and accumulate more yin virtues, it is the blessing you have created, and others will not be able to rob it.
If people do things that go against the way of heaven, they are very dangerous. The laws of heaven must be higher than your cleverness. In this way, human beings will be more humble, and they will have a sense of reverence for heaven and earth, ghosts and gods, and nature. Unlike now, many people are fearless. It's scary.
But there is seldom such reverence these days. used to tell the story of Li Chunfeng in the Tang Dynasty who counted the fortunes of the Tang Dynasty: he told Tang Taizong that there was a person surnamed Wu who came to seize the world for him, and the person was already in the palace. Tang Taizong said, then I will kill all the people surnamed Wu in the palace, so that the root of the bane will be broken.
Li Chunfeng said, this is the original calamity of your Li family, but it's not bad, this person is still merciful, and he will return the world to your Li family in the future. If you kill her, you will inspire even worse people to come to this catastrophe, and the consequences will be unimaginable.
Seeing him say this, Tang Taizong obeyed.
Tianxingjian, a gentleman strives for self-improvement. The first rule of the strong is to be independent and not fake foreign things. From the perspective of the sky, it is independent and does not depend on external objects. In "Zhou Yi", the Qiangua represents the heavens, and the Qian, the "great yuan" of all things, depends on the survival and occurrence of all things.
Heaven is strong and strong, not relying on external objects, "Zhou Yi" makes people imitate heaven, self-reliance and self-improvement. Therefore, in the mainstream thought of the Tang people, humanity imitates the way of heaven, and the gentleman is self-reliant, does not rely on ghosts and gods, and does not depend on religion. Even if we imitate heaven and earth, we will never depend on heaven and earth.
The second connotation of Heavenly Dao is that it is constantly changing. The sky is running endlessly, and the changes are endless, so the product flow line is in order at four times. "Zhou Yi" uses "dragon" to symbolize the spirit of the trigram and the heavens.
In fact, the dragon of Chinese culture is eight words: "changeable, looming". Mr. Nan Huaijin said that if you try to look at the dinosaurs of foreigners, you can see that if Chinese painters paint dragons, if they are all painted, no matter what famous artists paint them, they are worthless. "The dragon sees the head but does not see the tail". The dragon has never seen the whole body, which is what it means to be "fickle and unpredictable".
Yin and yang rub each other, gossip fluctuates together, and the way of heaven does not change
Reside. The world is changing all the time, and everything is new in the next moment.
Kun is thick and loaded, and virtue is boundless. The earth is thick, so it can carry all things, and it is generous and inclusive, so it can be virtuous and boundless. Borderless means borderless. The book emphasizes that "the house of goodness must have afterglow, and the house of unkindness must have aftermath". The connotation of kindness is basically the same as that of virtue and kindness.
The terrain is good, and the gentleman carries things with virtue. "Zhou Yi" said that the essence of virtue is kindness and tolerance. Houde is kindness, with a kind heart to carry all things, treat people and things, and embrace all things, which is tolerance.
People who know how to be virtuous and tolerant have actually got the best pass in the world and planted blessings for themselves and future generations. A man must imitate the strength of heaven and the generosity of the earth, and neither should be neglected. If a person only knows how to imitate the heavens, be strong, self-reliant, and self-reliant, and change wonderfully, but do not know how to cultivate virtue and self-cultivation, it is easy to embark on the wrong path. And if you only know how to be kind and tolerant, but not self-reliant, it will lead to a lack of pioneering ability.
"Zhou Yi" has advocated more than once, "entering Germany and cultivating industry" and "advocating virtue and Guangye". This is actually the way of the inner saint and the outer king. It is to establish morality internally, and continue to cultivate morality and enter morality, and externally to be self-reliant, know how to be flexible, have the courage to open up, and continue to innovate. This is the harmony of yin and yang, the principle of combining rigidity and softness, that is, the embodiment of "one yin and one yang" in "Zhou Yi" in people.
Xie Baoshu feels that listening to your words is better than reading for ten years. In the next few days, I happened to listen to the monks of Tongming talk about the way of heaven.

Inheriting her, the state lord, naturally has to express something, and if she doesn't admit it, she will be killed. In the territory of Tianshui Prefecture, there is a sect called the Water Dragon Sect.
Shen He thought that he would be caught, but he didn't expect that the Water Dragon Sect still secretly hid a dragon and didn't let Song Heng kill him. Together with Lord Chenghuang, there is nothing she can do about this Water Dragon Sect. Only then did she ask Xie Baoshu to come over to help, she knew that Song Heng was Xie Baoshu's master.
When Xie Baoshu came to the Water Dragon Sect, the two sides were in a stalemate.
The sect master of the Water Dragon Sect is an old man and one of the few masters in Tianshui Prefecture. Although there are only six realms of cultivation, in Tianshui Prefecture, it can be regarded as the top. The main thing is that he stands in the air with a blue water dragon at his feet.

Xie Baoshu looked at him: "Earth Fairyland, just right." ”

Xie Baoshu pursed his lips: "What a real dragon, it's just a dragon, and it's not ashamed." ”
Before the old man could speak, the dragon under his feet was not happy, raised his head to look at Xie Baoshu, and roared angrily. The whole dragon bowed up, extremely domineering. It looked at Xie Baoshu and stretched out its claws, extremely provocative.
A moment later, Xie Baoshu rushed forward and knocked the old man off the water dragon with a punch.
Then he grabbed the tail of the water dragon and smashed it into the water dragon sect, he looked at the old man: "You are also worthy of calling my master's name?"
