Section 40 The Tame Ox

The fortieth day into the eternal world.

After half a day of rain, all the crops in the base were ripe, and everyone harvested a lot of grass, branches and berries. Wilson also wanted to have a refrigerator, and when he was in the desert, Wurmwood's refrigerator made him envious, if he could keep food alive, it would keep it fresh and avoid waste, and he didn't know how little Wurm's refrigerator worked.

Webber the little spider brought back some mushrooms and carrots yesterday, and he couldn't find any more to eat. Of course, there are only five people in the base at the moment, and they can't consume much food.

Webb and Walter should be good friends, or at least like-minded – they share exactly the same love for toys. As soon as the little spider came back, Walter pestered him, and they took out their respective toys, the little spider's goblins, robots, and toy Trojan horses, and Walter had toy crocodiles and toy snakes, and the two of them had a large-scale toy kingdom this time. However, Vis was not very happy, and Walter dumped him to find the little spider, and his balloon could no longer attract Walter to play with him.

Wilson was busy banging and banging. The tent was obviously leaking, and when the rain stopped, he found his grandmother's sewing tools and simply repaired the sails. He couldn't make a cooking pot, Wilson didn't have the strength of Wolfgang to cut large stones into the shape of a pot, but fortunately there was Chef Wally's portable tools, so he didn't have to worry about making another pot. The only thing that Wilson felt sorry for was the big tree in the base, which he used to mark the date and scratch with an axe to record how many days he had spent in this world, but after being away from the base for so long, he had long lost the concept of days.

One thing delighted Wilson the most of all the hectic things: Wolfgang's domesticated Piflo cow, which was still at the base!

"Wolfgang took care of it all the time when he wasn't there, and then when they left, I fed it the rotten vegetables." Wally is tending to the farm.

"That's great!" Wilson pulled out Wolfgang's saddle and put it on Niu Niu's back.

The Piflo cow already showed signs of domestication and did not resist at all. Wilson patted Niu Niu's back and stepped on it, Piflo Ox's back was hard and strong, and it was certainly much safer to ride a bull than to ride a horse!

Wilson was very happy, he was about to cut wood, without Woody, and with the rain soaking, there was very little wood in the base that could be used to burn, and with the oxen, not only could he reduce the time it took to travel, but he could also carry goods for himself, which was really thanks to Wolfgang! Oh, and Willow!

So in the afternoon, Wilson rode the ox to a slightly farther place to cut down the tree, and the ox and cow graze on the side, and after cutting the tree, tied the wood and bundled it on the back of the ox, and transported it back, which was much more efficient!

Dinner was a roasted eggplant box, newly harvested eggplant, spring has arrived, and although there is more rain, there is also more harvest. After a good night's sleep, Wilson was going out to dig some ore today, so he took his pickaxe and fed Niu Niu some fresh berries. Wally was very opposed to feeding fresh fruits and vegetables to the Piflo cow, but Wilson was very valuable to the cow now, just a few berries, it didn't matter, right? Wilson also set up a bird-catching net near the farm, and he had the impression that the snowfinch in the birdcage must have died a long time ago, and he asked the little spider to pay attention to it, and if it caught the bird, it would be imprisoned in the cage.

Wilson was about to go out and he greeted Chef and watched Spider and Walter play house, and Weiss sat alone in his tent, and balloons were certainly not as interesting as his friends. Wilson had not gone far on his ox when two figures appeared on the eastern horizon, supporting each other, both of them looking extremely weak. Woody? Wolfgang?
