See Chapter 2

Folding the cards that make up the deck in place of the forbidden cards can only be used with the cards marked by the Yu-Gi-Oh officialcardgame. It is also forbidden to use substitute cards, attach stickers to Yu-Gi-Oh officialcardgame cards (card holders), or mark cards.

Fold the card limit

At the conference, there are rules that limit the number of cards, such as prohibiting cards, restricting cards, and quasi-limiting cards.

(Among them, there can be no banned cards in the card deck, there is at most one restricted card with the same name, and there are up to two quasi-restricted cards with the same name, see Yu-Gi-Oh 2012.3.1 banned card table)

The use of folding card holders

Players can use card sleeves to protect their cards. However, if you use cards in multiple languages to create your deck, please add a card sleeve to your card obligatory. In addition, you must not put anything other than a card in the card holder. It is also not possible to process the ferrule.

*This rule probably means that you can't use double-layer card holders, right?!

If you're using a card sleeve, make sure you use the same card sleeve for all decks, spanning the main deck, the spare deck, and the fusion deck.

Fold monster cards

1 basic monster card includes the following information:

Card name: The name of the card is the basis for judging whether it is the same card in the rules, the card with the same card name is regarded as a "card with the same name" and enjoys the same treatment in the rules, the card set can put up to 3 cards with the same name (in the case of non-existence in the forbidden card table), this card is used as [XXX] in the text description, and is also regarded as a "card with the same name" (for example, [Condor Girl 1, 2, 3] are all regarded as [Condor Girl], so they cannot be put 3 each, and a total of 3 is long).

Level: The level of the monster represented by the number of stars, and the monsters of LV5 and 6 need to sacrifice (one) when summoned. Monsters above LV7 (including LV7) need to sacrifice two sacrifices when summoned. (Some monsters need to be summoned according to the instructions on the card)

Attributes: Monster cards are endowed with 7 attributes: light, darkness, earth, wind, water, fire, and god (treasure card). The Netherworld attribute is a ZZ fake card. The effects of certain cards will have an effect on cards with certain attributes. However, there is no such thing as a situation where the attributes are mutually restrictive and affect the outcome of the battle between monsters.

Net is not attributeless...... It's just not considered a dark attribute.

Race: Monster cards are classified into: Dragon, Demon, Machine, Magician, Angel, Thunder, Undead, Insects, Water, Warriors, Dinosaurs, Flames, Beast Warriors, Rocks, Reptiles, Beasts, Fish, Plants, Birds and Beasts, Sea Dragons, Phantom Dragons, Phantom Beasts (Three Phantom Gods), Telekinesis, Electronism and Creation Gods (where the Great God of Light Creation is located) These are 25 races. As with attributes, the effects of certain cards will affect the cards of a certain race, but there is also no such thing as a race that affects the outcome of a battle between monsters.

Card number: The number on the card is marked according to the PACK of the card, etc., so that it is easy to search and organize the card. (DIY card only needs to be compared online)

Attack and Defense: Monster cards with high stats will be advantageous in battles between monsters. See the instructions below.

The ability of the monster card: Usually when the monster is this column is the descriptive text of the monster.,And when the effect monster is the explanation of the monster's special ability.。 When fusing monsters, this column also indicates the fusion material of the fused monster. Ritual monsters are marked with the corresponding ritual.

Classification of Monster Cards:

Yu-Gi-Oh's monster cards are generally divided into two categories, one is a normal monster and the other is an effect monster. The monsters that come out of different summoning methods in the future are also in these two systems. (Only pendulum monsters with no effect are considered normal monsters of that category, and monsters with effects are effect monsters of that category.)

Note: "Normal Monsters" indicates that ritual monsters, fusion monsters, cohomology monsters, excess monsters, and connection monsters with no effect are not considered normal monsters.

Usual Monsters: Monster cards that have no effect description, the most common ones are cards with yellow card faces, no special abilities, and are used according to basic rules. The usual monsters from other summoning methods are the color of the card face of that summoning method.

Effect Monsters: All of the effects described are effect monsters, and the most common ones are cards with orange cards with special abilities.

The effects of effect monsters can be divided into the following 5 basic types:

(1) Flip effect: When the card is changed from the back to the front, it will be automatically and forcedly activated. The process of the player reversing and summoning a monster, and the process of the monster represented on the back in the calculation of combat damage and the process of changing to a positive representation due to the card effect are called "flipping", and the conditions for the flip effect to be activated are met. Effect speed 1. Examples: Divine Magician, Man-Eating Worm.

(2) Activation effect: Your own turn can be activated when it is represented on the front of your own field, and the timing of the launch has different instructions on each card, and the default without explanation is the main stage 1 and 2. When using such effects, the declaration is activated after paying the COST specified in the effect. Effect speed 1 case: Magic Scientist, infected with the virus of the same family.

(3) Sustainable effect: This card is positive on the field, and the effect continues to be effective. There is no concept of "activation" and "timing of activation" of this effect, and the effect is applied when the monster appears on the front side of the field, and the effect is lost when it leaves the field or becomes the reverse representation. Example: Black Wizard Girl, Dragon Slayer Warrior

(4) Inducing effect: The effect of fighting, dealing damage, sending to the graveyard, summoning success, etc., when the conditions are met, the effect speed is 1. Example: Witch of the Black Forest, Killer Tomato.

(5) Instant Induction Effect: When the activation conditions are met, it can be activated even in the opponent's turn, with a speed of 2, and it can be linked to the activation of magic, traps, etc. (my understanding is similar to the counterattack trap in the trap, the activation conditions are harsh, but there is a faster speed and chain than similar effects) Example: Chestnut Ball, Dragon Warrior

The following two are the types of effects that are not found in the official rule book, and they are two effects that have been artificially summarized in practice for the convenience of communication, and are for reference only

Rule Effects: Effects that are directly related to changes in the rules of the game (such as the choice of summoning method, e.g., Thunder Juggernaut, such effects are not summoning conditions, so they are not subject to the restrictions of Su Sheng.) There are also fusion material substitutes, Caesar seahorses, etc.). 1. Monster cards of deck monsters:

1.1. Reversal Monster: The new version of the monster card has a reversal written on the surface, and the old version has a reversed monster card in the effect description area

Reverse Summoning:

Place the monster card cover in the monster area (the cover is placed to occupy the usual summon, and the reverse summon is not occupied), and there are two types of reversal and reversal summoning when the effect is successful, the former will be defended head-on when it is attacked, indicating that it will open and activate the effect, and the latter will only open it and cannot activate the effect. Reverse summoning means that the monster is normally not turned over until the next turn of its own, and it is turned over to attack to activate its reversal effect.
