Chapter 57: A Time of Glory
The D0 Enhanced Battle Rifle with MILSTD1913 tactical rails can be converted into a variety of configurations, including gun-mounted ANPVS4 night vision goggles.
In addition, it is possible to use MILSTD1913 tactical rail to attach two other types of optical sights or sights corresponding to MILSTD1913 tactical rails, depending on the situation.
MK_14EBR automatic rifles are also used by other countries and regions friendly to the United States, such as Australia.
Some of the M14EBRs from the U.S. Army are used by the Australian Army's special forces SASR.
There are also Morocco, Poland and Chinese Taiwan.
Now the seal has started to use the improved d1, except for a slight improvement in the handguard details, the biggest difference from the Mod0 is that the Mod1 has switched to the CTR stock produced by Magpul, which is more comfortable to use.
However, the D0 has a full length of 35 inches with the stock retracted, while the CTR has a 37-inch length with the stock retracted.
The Army's M14EBRRI was also upgraded to an SEI competition-grade barrel and a MagpulPRS2 stock, renamed (i.e., RodNh).
The Seal was finally equipped with the M14EBR with a 22-inch barrel, which was named D2 after replacing the EBR stock with the M14SSR, which was originally used for precision shooting, so it did not overlap with the tasks of the D1 used for close combat.
The Mk14EBR rifle series has appeared in a handful of films and many video games, such as 2011 – Fast and Furious 5 (FastFive): model d1 with ELSpectreDR15–6 scope, R-stock, bipod and ANPEQ15 laser sight, used by Agent Wilkes (played by Fernando), fully automatic shooting.

The pull handle is located on the left side of the receiver and does not move with the bolt when firing, and on different models, the pull handle is available in both foldable and non-folded versions.
The muzzle is equipped with a long flame suppressor, which also doubles as a grenade launcher, and different countries use different designs of flame suppressors. The design of the front handguard also varies, from wood to plastic or metal. The light machine gun model is equipped with a unique flame suppressor that suppresses recoil during bursts.
The reentry spring of the fixed stock type is stored in the stock, while the reentry spring of the folding stock type is fixed in the receiver, so the cage, receiver cover, and reentry spring of the folding stock type are slightly different from the former.
The tubular aluminum folding stock of the paratrooper type is a complex device that is difficult to operate by pressing down hard when opening or folding, compared to the folding stock of the Galil and AK74S or the Huaxia 811, which is much easier to operate.
The sights are usually a front sight with wings and an adjustable bore gate, but the range is set differently depending on the gun type. Some paratroopers use a flipped, fixed gate, with two ranges set at 150m and 250m respectively. It is said that the door is easy to loosen, but it can be solved by just padding a piece of paper, and the perforated door is close to the eye, making it easy to aim. Most FAL rifles are equipped with bayonet bumps.
The FAL rifle is comfortable to shoot and handle, and the axis of the barrel is aligned with the butt at the shoulder point, allowing the weapon to fire rapid-fire in a single shot.
However, the ability of this light rifle to fire high-powered rifle rounds in bursts is disappointing, and the dispersion of the burst is very large.
The British once conducted such a burst fire test, an experienced shooter with 2-3 short shots, shot a 25m portrait target against the shoulder, the first shot hit the abdomen, the second hit the right shoulder, and the third shot missed the target to the upper right.
When firing at a distance of 200m or more in a kneeling position, the second and third rounds will be at least 10m above the impact point of the first shot. It was based on the results of such tests that the British FAL rifle simply eliminated the burst function.
Each of DSA's FAL rifles starts with an 8.6-kilogram 4140 solid steel forging. First of all, the forging is processed into a l-kilogram upper casing by a computer numerical control milling machine, and then the entire upper casing is heat treated to increase its strength.
In contrast, other FAL rifle production units use an investment casting process to produce upper receivers, which are only partially heat-treated. As a result, DSA's processes result in a significant increase in product quality.
