Chapter 101: The Tribulation of the Blood Wheel
In the long river of history, there are too many past events that have been scattered with the wind.
Shaolin Temple's treasure Yijin Sutra has also been upside down and displaced, and its fate is uncertain.
Shaolin Temple was founded in the 19th year of Taihe of the Northern Wei Dynasty (495). At that time, Emperor Xiaowen Yuanhong settled the Indian monk Batuo who came to the dynasty to teach Theravada Buddhism, so he built a temple in Songshan Shaomu Mountain.
In the third year of Emperor Xiaochang of the Northern Wei Dynasty (527), the twenty-eighth generation of Shakyamuni came to Shaolin Temple. At that time, his martial arts were unrivaled in the world, and he laid a great reputation for the entire martial arts Taishan Beidou for the Shaolin Temple. He not only brought the scriptures of Mahayana Buddhism to the Shaolin Temple, but more importantly, he brought the foundation of the temple from India to the Shaolin Temple, which was not outstanding. It is this book that ensures that the Shaolin Temple's position in the martial arts will not fail.
This Yijin Sutra is a manuscript of the ancient Yijin Sutra left by Shakyamuni. Except for most of the content of the Divine Refining Technique, which is not recorded, the exercises of the first five orders can be said to be very well documented.
Later, the original Shakyamuni left in India was destroyed in the war, but this Yijin Sutra was preserved in the far east, which can be regarded as a coincidence.
At that time, the Shaolin Temple did not have a scripture pavilion, and this book was kept by Bodhidharma. There is no doubt that the entire martial arts wants to get this book and want to know the secret of being the number one in the world of martial arts. However, Bodhidharma's reputation is prominent, which also makes those who are young dare not come to offend.
One hundred and twenty years later, Bodhidharma passed away in December of the same year at the age of 153. Bodhidharma has achieved a positive result, leaving the coffin empty and going to the Western Elysium.
Three months later, according to the covetousness of the Yijin Sutra, a mortal enemy of Dharma, recognized as the world's second master blood wheel ancestor Xue Tianman, finally couldn't help but come to the door, and wrote blood-red characters at the door of Shaolin Temple: "Surrender the Yijin Sutra at noon tomorrow, otherwise the Shaolin Temple will be slaughtered in three days." It is known as the "Catastrophe of the Blood Wheel" in history.
This person's martial arts are so high that he has surpassed everyone Jin Yong's pen appearances. At this time, Bodhidharma had passed away and returned to the Western Elysium, and Hui Ke, who inherited the mantle of Bodhidharma, only learned Buddhism, and his martial arts were not outstanding. Therefore, no one in the whole temple is the enemy of the Blood Wheel Ancestor.
In order to ensure the inheritance of the Shaolin Temple's foundation Yijin Sutra, Huilun had to reluctantly cut it into many parts, each of which was handed over to a trustworthy pious monk for safekeeping, and then spelled back the Yijin Sutra when Buddhism flourished after the death of the blood wheel in the future. Due to the time constraints, many of the scriptures were torn directly from the Yi Jin Sutra.
The next day, the ancestor of the blood wheel came to the Shaolin Temple, but found that the temple was empty, and he couldn't help but burn Shaolin in anger, and at the same time ordered the blood wheel sect members to hunt down and kill all the monks in the world and retrieve the hidden Yijin Sutra. Most monks had to be forced to return to the laity to escape the disaster. However, many people were still caught, and the hidden fragments of the Yi Jin Sutra were obtained by the blood wheel.
Relying on the fragments of the Yi Jin Sutra that his subordinates scraped together, the Blood Wheel Ancestor made great progress in martial arts again under the opportunity to comprehend.
As everyone knows, the martial arts of the Yijin Sutra need Buddhism to dissolve the anger generated by cultivation, and he is doing this now to lay the root of the bane in the future.
Sure enough, three years later, the Blood Wheel Ancestor finally became the second person in thousands of years to cultivate the Jindan by martial arts after Bodhidharma. But after the breakthrough, he went crazy and danced for seven days and seven nights and died.
The Blood Wheel Ancestor died suddenly, and the Blood Wheel Sect began to fall apart due to internal disagreements. The monks of Shaolin Temple with the fragments of the Yijin Sutra reunited in Shaolin Temple to re-become monks, trying to revive the prestige of Shaolin.
However, what I didn't expect at the time was that after three years of tossing, the Yijin Sutra on many monks was still searched by the blood wheel and collected by the blood wheel ancestor, and turned into ashes as he went mad. At the same time, countless people in the entire martial arts also had great covetousness for monks, and many monks also lost their lives, and the scriptures were robbed or forced to be destroyed.
The rest of the scriptures are only six or seven out of ten. Moreover, the book at that time had no pages, and it was impossible to put it back together because it was not in order.
As a last resort, the ancient Yijin Sutra could only be permanently disassembled, and each fragment of the Yijin Sutra was named according to the martial arts and scriptures recorded above. These include martial scriptures such as the Yijin Sutra, the Washing of the Pulp Sutra, and the Jiuyang Sutra, as well as Buddhist scriptures such as the Diamond Sutra, the Lotus Sutra, and the Ranga Sutra.
Of course, the Yijin Sutra in the previous sentence is only a very small fragment of the ancient Yijin Sutra, and it cannot be compared with it. Corresponding to the Yi Jin Sutra and the Pulp Washing Sutra are some fragments of Li Qiang's cultivation of muscle refining techniques, tendon refining techniques, and bone refining techniques. Corresponding to the Jiuyang Sutra are some fragments of the Jiuyang Gong that Li Qiang is practicing now.
In the next few hundred years, the monks who read these scriptures found that there were many defects in many places, so they added and supplemented them according to their own understanding, resulting in a big discrepancy between these books and the original text of the ancient Yijin Sutra. Mental methods and martial arts do not correspond.
As the past of the "Blood Wheel Tribulation" fades away in the long river of history, no one knows that these books actually come from the secret of the ancient Yijin Sutra.
At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a monk who had attained Taoism, and by chance, he found that the "Jiuyang Sutra" and the "Lenga Sutra" actually had a one-to-one correspondence. In order for future generations to know this, he was going to write the two books together.
The problem was that Sanskrit was very difficult to write, and the space between each line of the Ranga Sutra was so small that Sanskrit could not be written, so he could only translate those words into Chinese characters and write them between the lines.
The monk felt that the martial arts on the Jiuyang Sutra were really broad and profound, so he took it upon himself to add the word "god" after "Jiuyang". The new name of the exercise is "Jiuyang Divine Gong".
Of course, he also cultivated the invincible martial arts in the world according to the internal strength of the Jiuyang True Sutra and the Ranga Sutra Heart Method, far surpassing anyone in the same era.
He is the sweeping monk who only appeared once in "Dragon Babu".
[Unexpectedly, three feet in front of the finger force and the old monk, it seemed to encounter a layer of extremely soft, but extremely hard barrier, and after a few sneers, the finger force dispersed without a trace, but it did not rebound back. 】
[As soon as his palms were closed like this, there seemed to be a force that turned into an invisible wall, blocking between Xiao Feng and Murong Fu. Xiao Feng's overwhelming palm force hit this wall, and he disappeared without a trace when he landed, disappearing into invisibility. 】
This ability to turn into a wall of qi, and the characteristic of automatic rebound, are the characteristics of Jiuyang Divine Skill, otherwise Zhang Wuji would not have been slapped by others when he was seriously injured and was about to die, but instead bounced others to death!
However, the sweeping monk has the help of Buddhism, and with a large grade, he has cultivated Jiuyang Divine Skill to the realm of three feet out of the body with true qi. According to the point of view of the ancient Yijin Sutra commentary in Li Qiang's mind, he almost has the strength of the late innate stage.
It's just that Jiuyang Shengong cultivates internal strength and does not practice the physical body, and the physical body is still mortal, in order to resolve the anger in Xiao Feng's heart, the sweeping monk removed the true qi of the body, and he was hit by Xiao Feng's eighteen palms of the dragon, and he still had to vomit blood.
Yes, it is best to have the corresponding Dharma for Jiuyang Shengong. On the other hand, the reason why Zhang Wuji was able to practice in the deep valley in four years was precisely because his state of mind after the deep desperate situation at that time happened to be in line with the purpose of the Ranga Sutra.
However, without the scriptures and Buddhism of the Ranga Sutra to resolve it, Zhang Wuji only practiced relatively quickly. If there was no opportunity for the Qiankun One Qi Bag, it would take at least thirty years to cultivate to the Dacheng realm of the True Qi Rotation of the whole body.
As for why Zhang Wuji didn't find the sweeping monk's good intentions of writing his mind and martial arts together?
The reason is very simple, the correspondence between the Ranga Sutra and the Jiuyang Sutra is similar to "encryption", and only by comparing the original Sanskrit text can it be possible to understand the correspondence between the two scriptures that have been missing words and pages. But the sweeping monk didn't expect that after translating martial arts into Chinese characters, even if the two books were put together, people couldn't see any correspondence!
In the annotation in his mind, Li Qiang saw that the ancient Yijin Sutra he obtained was the real book of heaven, the true original left by Shakyamuni. Its level of detail is far less than the Yijin Sutra that Bodhidharma brought to the eastern soil. What's more, this book has a note given by an old monk, so there is no obstacle to reading.
Li Qiang couldn't help but be more curious, who was the old monk he met on the second day of the Lunar New Year?
Retracting his thoughts, Li Qiang continued to read the annotations:
"This martial art focuses on both internal and external cultivation, the internal strength is the Pulse Extension Technique and the Jiuyang Divine Skill, and the external skill is the martial arts you practiced before. Therefore, after reaching the innate realm, both the physical body and the true qi can be refined to an inconceivable realm.
And the path of finding the vast avenue after truly cultivating is not what you are thinking about now. ”
Knowing this period of martial arts secrets, Li Qiang smiled slightly and retracted his thoughts, completely immersed in the scriptures of the Lenga Sutra, and began to cultivate the Jiuyang Divine Skill.
The method of expanding the pulse is to lay the foundation for the meridians, and the Jiuyang Divine Skill is to continuously accumulate internal strength, until finally the true qi is full and the two bridges of heaven and earth are opened, and the Jiuyang Divine Skill will be cultivated to the fullest, and Li Qiang will also enter the innate realm.
It is foreseeable that Li Qiang's strength growth has embarked on a fast lane.
