(11) Stagnation

Stagnation is a gastrointestinal disease caused by the accumulation of milk and damage to the spleen and stomach, with diarrhea or constipation, vomiting, and abdominal distension as the main symptoms. Stagnation is closely related to the accumulation of chancre, if the injury is not healed by milk food for a long time, the progression of the disease can become an accumulation, the accumulation does not disappear for a long time, and the delay is not treated, which affects the nutrition and growth and development of children, and the body is becoming emaciated day by day, which can be transformed into chancre.

Children's spleen is often insufficient, if the milk is not controlled, the spleen and stomach will be damaged, so that the spleen and stomach are derelict in their duties, and the rise and fall are out of balance, and become stagnant. Children's stomach qi is weak or weak after illness, and spleen qi is deficient, so that milk food cannot be eliminated, and stagnation can be formed in the void. The main manifestations are pale complexion, irritability and crying, restlessness at night, lack of appetite, abdominal distention, loose stool or constipation, short yellow urine or rice swill, accompanied by low-grade fever.

(1) The child is placed in the supine position, and the surgeon pushes and kneades the child's abdomen clockwise with the palm of his right hand for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).

(2) The surgeon uses the middle finger of his right hand to rub the patient's Zhongguan, Tianshu, Daheng and Shenque acupoints for 3~5 minutes, see Figure (2).

(3) Immediately after that, the surgeon rubs the child's Zusanli and Sanyin Jiao acupoints with his thumb for 1~3 minutes, and the force can be slightly increased, as shown in this figure (4).

(4) The patient was placed in the prone position, and the surgeon used the right hand to rub the spine and both sides of the spine from top to bottom for 3~5 minutes, and rubbed the child's spleen, stomach, large intestine and other acupoints, as shown in this figure (3).

2. Precautions

(1) Scientific and reasonable feeding, control children's diet, and develop good eating habits.

(2) Avoid overeating sweet, sticky, fatty, sweet, and thick flavors, and do not overeat.

(3) Children's diet should be light and nutritious, not over-snack, and drink less carbonated drinks.
