(6) Postpartum constipation
Postpartum diet as usual, stool is difficult to swallow, several days of incomprehension, secrets, even irritability, fever, delirium, called postpartum constipation. The main cause is excessive blood loss during childbirth, blood deficiency and consumption, and inability to lubricate the intestines; or blood deficiency and fire, internal burning fluid, lack of fluid, intestinal dryness and stool knots; Or due to postpartum external evils into the inside, hurt by diet, dry intestines and constipation.
The main symptoms are difficult to stool after childbirth, or incomprehensible for many days, no abdominal distension and pain, yellowish complexion, dry skin, normal diet, or dizziness, palpitations, dry mouth, etc.

(1) The patient is usually in the supine position, and the surgeon first rubs the patient's lower abdomen with the palm of his hand, and treats slightly hard in a clockwise direction for 3~5 minutes, as shown in this figure (1).
(2) Immediately following the above method, the surgeon uses the thumb or middle finger to rub the patient's Daheng, Tianshu, Qihai, and Guanyuan acupoints for 3~5 minutes, and the force can gradually change from light to heavy, see this figure (2).
(3) In the prone position of the patient, the surgeon kneades or uses the palm of the hand to perform the operation along the spine from top to bottom behind the patient's back for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (3).
(4) The surgeon uses the thumb to press and knead the patient's branch groove, Zusanli, Weizhong, Sanyinjiao, and Chengshan points repeatedly for 3~5 minutes, see this figure (4).
2. Precautions
(1) Pay attention to dietary conditioning, eat more crude fiber foods, such as leeks and yams, and drink honey in moderation to moisten the intestines and laxative.
(2) Do some physical exercises, such as walking, squatting, etc.
(3) Develop good bowel habits, regular bowel movements, and daily bowel movements.
(4) Drink more water, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid sitting and lying down for a long time.
