In any case, when we encounter suffering, we cannot escape it, nor can we divert it in other ways, because the source of all suffering is ignorance, which can only be completely solved by wisdom.

The Buddhist way to deal with suffering is acceptance, and acceptance relies on wisdom.

Pain is a word that is familiar to each of us, and there are many classifications of pain in this world. As far as we human beings are concerned, there are three fundamental sufferings: suffering, bad suffering, and doing suffering. As well as life, old age, sickness, death, unbelievable, love and separation, resentment and hatred, and the five yin and blazing prosperity and other eight branches share suffering.

Buddhism has Daneng, and it also classifies human suffering into two types, physical suffering and mental suffering.

The pain of the little people is the physical suffering, such as lack of food and clothing, super-intensive labor, etc., so that these two kinds of pain are constantly annoying all sentient beings. So those who have money in the world are also suffering, and those who have no money are also suffering.

First of all, we must realize that the source of suffering is selfishness, that is, the selfish heart, and I believe you are very clear that once you encounter a difficult situation and are in pain, there should be very few people who suffer for sentient beings, and there are many people who suffer for yourself.

So, if you want to cut off all suffering, you first have to cut off the source of it, and if you want to cut off your source, you should study some Buddhist theories. Change the selfish mentality with the Mahayana spirit of selflessness.

The first way to get rid of suffering is to benefit all sentient beings. If you have Mahayana compassion, bodhichitta, that's great, but even if you don't have it, you should have at least the traditional morality of benevolence, and it's one of the miracle pills that save humanity.

The loss of a loved one or thing is a natural law that must be faced in reincarnation.

It's better to meditate and think quietly, rather than practicing, walking, and thinking.

For example, when I feel pain after losing someone or something I love, I meditate and think: Can I recover what I lost? If I can recover, then I don't need to be heartbroken like I am now, I just need to restore and restore, and if I can never get back to the same place, then I can only face and accept this reality.

Maybe it didn't work at first, and I even preferred to be painful and uncomfortable than think like this, but as long as I persisted, I will slowly figure out this problem. The loss of a loved one or thing is a natural law that must be faced in reincarnation, not only me, but everyone will have such a day, it is just a matter of time. Suffering can only torment oneself and has a great negative impact on all aspects of one's life, work, and practice.

By thinking over and over again, you can convince yourself. Although these methods are relatively simple, they are very helpful if they can be applied to real life, and everyone should try them.

If you can rely on this simple method to face pain, you can overcome one difficulty after another, and then you will find that not only can you withstand the great pain, but also the pain can no longer be pain, and it also has many advantages, and its positive effects are much more than negative effects.

Just as there are treatments that are surprisingly effective despite being intolerable to patients. So you can't get used to resisting pain, but learn to face it.

However, when cultivating the four opposing powers, one should not get by in this way, but should deeply regret the past sinful karma and develop a great fear of the bitter consequences of the sinful karma. The more remorse you have for your sinful karma, the greater your ability to purify.

People in the world may not understand: why accept suffering, and because of this, they will never be truly happy.

There is a story in the Buddhist scriptures about a man who lived a luxurious and luxurious life when he was a king. Because I haven't endured a little discomfort

so that there was a pea under the eighteen layers of various silk sheets, which he could feel and could not bear.

Later, he not only lost his throne, but also lived a poor and miserable life, so he had to go to the mountains to cut wood to make a living, because he did not even have a shirt, he could only carry firewood bare-chested. As the days went on, not only did he not feel the slightest pain, but he also felt normal.

Although this is just a story, there are similar examples in real life. If you encounter a pain, don't resist it passively, but face it bravely. After this hurdle, the next time you encounter similar pain, you can accept it calmly and calmly, this is the victory over this pain, and you are the winner of this battle against pain. In this way, in the long run, you can strengthen your mind and overcome all suffering.

There are eight sufferings in life, and if you understand the eight sufferings, you will no longer suffer.

Everyone has their own lives, but they all forget. As far as human beings are concerned, when the fetus is born, it has to go through the pain of childbirth, the mother suffers, and the baby also suffers, which is known to everyone who is a mother, so the baby cries as soon as it is born, and the pain is unspeakable; In addition, the baby's skin is very delicate, and when it is born with hot and cold air, the body is as painful as a pinprick in the skin. In addition, the fetus feels safer in the mother's womb, and as soon as it is born, it is like being lost, helpless, suffering to death, and being afraid of death, so life is a kind of suffering.

Our body and mind are decayed, decayed, born of all kinds of suffering, aging of the body, slowly disobedient, useless; And our hearts gradually become weaker, and our thinking becomes more and more sluggish, and we are inferior to others in everything, so we feel miserable. People are old and useless, wrinkled, bent back, old, unable to do things, and die of misery.

Some elderly people have nothing to do at home, and they are worried that they will be abandoned by their children, lonely and alienated, and it is difficult to break free, and it is rare to find warmth and family affection; When he was young and strong, he was full of friends, full of spirit, and full of energy, but no one expected that the situation in his later years would be so lonely, lonely and desolate.

The four major imbalances of the body are full of diseases, so they are bitter. There are many kinds of diseases, some are very mild, some are very serious, and some are not easy to detect, and the result is a violent illness. The most terrible thing is the toothache, the pain is so croaking, the family has to give you three points, really speaking, "eating" is a disease, greedy things are also a disease, but these are heart diseases, here is a physical disease.

We have run out of life, died of illness, or died of natural and man-made disasters. At the end of his life, the spectacle of death was unbearable, and terror arose. When some people die, their faces turn blue with fright, and their death looks terrible; Some people don't want to die when they die, and they hold their hands tightly.

If one day we find that we can't move our hands, we must be miserable; When a person is about to die, all parts of the body are slowly unable to move, and the heart must be very panicked, which is the suffering of death.

Everyone knows that this life, old age, sickness, and death are suffering, and they have even become numb and have no choice but to accept it; Everyone says that they are going to die anyway, what do they want it to do? But no one says that they are going to be sick anyway, so why should they care about it?

When you're sick, you'll croak, and when you're sick, you can't stand it. When death has not yet come,

You have a big mouth and love to talk big, and when it comes, you are afraid of death. If someone points a knife at you, you will be scared to death, that is, you are afraid of death - death suffering; Before it touched you, I was so scared, let alone when the time of death came.

We can't avoid enemies and enemies, and every time we have to meet, this is called resentment and bitterness. For example, a husband and wife have a happy married life and love, and they quarrel and fall out later, but for the sake of their children, the relationship between husband and wife is difficult to break, and they must meet every day.

But for the sake of the family, for the sake of five buckets of rice, I bend my waist, and I have to meet with people I don't like every day. There are also some friends who, after a fight with you, don't talk when they meet, because of some karmic karma, you can't leave him, and you have to meet every day, which is resentment and bitterness.

With loved ones, people who love each other are obediently separated, so bitter. Because of certain karma, the beloved person is far away from you, and you are reluctant, so you feel suffering. Thoughts always start after a breakup, and they are often on the mind. Some were sad and weeping, crying and crying; Some can't sleep or eat.

Line is the meaning of migration. Everything in the world is impermanent and changing, and this is the law of life in the universe. But the world does not know this law, the pursuit of eternity: hope for the eternal body, eternal family, eternal marriage, eternal career, eternal interpersonal relationships, eternal love, in fact there is no eternal thing in the world, the world is impermanent, beautiful things are often short-lived, fleeting.

Because our understanding is contrary to the facts of the world, we have suffering. In short, in the world of Suva, everything is nothing but suffering.

It is the pain we feel in our lives, and even if it is not pointed out in the Buddhist scriptures, we also think that it is suffering, which is caused by the pain of birth, the pain of aging, the pain of disease, and the pain of death.

Love and parting suffering caused by the environment: that is, dear people cannot stay together, asking for no suffering: what they ask cannot be granted, resentment will be bitter: complaining about the narrow road of the family, looking down and not looking up. and the five aggregates of blazing suffering: the suffering of the imbalance of the body and mind of the five aggregates.

Buddhism has some special methods for solving suffering, through which one can cultivate and purify one's soul to attain a relatively high realm: the temporary result is to reduce one's own pressure, and the ultimate result is to fundamentally solve the pain of birth, old age, sickness and death.

In the past, many people thought that Buddhism was pessimistic, negative, and escapist, but this is not the case. Buddhism's understanding of life's suffering is much more than that. The Buddhist definition of life, the attitude towards suffering and happiness, are all closely related to the reality of our lives. If you can understand these contents, you will definitely benefit a lot.

If we do not study it in depth, many people will look at the problem superficially, thinking that the suffering is caused by their lack of money, lack of food, lack of warm clothing, or lack of various conditions. Actually, these are just some of the factors of suffering, but the most important factors of suffering are not these, but there are other causes.

As for meditation, there is meditation in the world, and there is meditation in Buddhism. The main purpose of meditation in the world is to calm people's minds and not to have troubles and pains

Suffering, stress, such a state, and meditation out of the world, with renunciation, bodhichitta and non-dual wisdom, or the unconditional dedication to the practice, is more profound.

Buddhism always emphasizes suffering.

Why is it that there is so much joy in life, but he only emphasizes pain?

Some people disagree that "suffering is life", the reason is that we can feel both happiness and pain, so life should be bittersweet, why do we have to amplify the power of pain?

In fact, many of the great powers of Buddhism emphasize suffering.

In addition to scholars, the idea that "suffering is life" is also repeatedly mentioned in traditional scriptures. In the Buddhist "Sutra of Mindfulness": "Reincarnation is like the tip of a needle, and there will never be less happiness." "In the six realms of samsara, all living beings are living as if they were on the tip of a needle. In addition, Buddhist scriptures also use metaphors such as fire pits and rakshasa islands to illustrate that there is no happiness in the world, that nature is suffering, and that even if sentient beings can feel a little happiness, it is impermanent and unstable. It can be seen that although there are suffering, pleasure, and sacrifice in life, the nature of suffering can be seen everywhere.

Some people may wonder, "Why does Buddhism only emphasize suffering, when there is a lot of happiness in life?"

The suffering endured by human beings and other sentient beings can be divided into root suffering and sub-suffering.

One of the fundamental sufferings is called "suffering", that is, when people are feeling happiness, they suddenly encounter a change, all their previous happiness disappears, and they are forced by unimaginable pain. This kind of pain can often be encountered in daily life.

This can happen at any time, and no one can guarantee that their life will never change. Another example is that a couple who originally had a good relationship, divorced due to some circumstances, and started a new life, and the original happiness no longer exists.

There is also "suffering" in the root suffering, which refers to multiple painful things happening to a person at the same time. For example, when you are feeling sick and have conflicts with your family, or when you are enduring the pain of poverty, you are in urgent need of money, etc.

It can be seen from this that whether you are poor or rich, whether you are talented or not good at words, whether you are young and promising, or in the twilight of life, everyone must go through the four major sufferings of life, old age, sickness and death.

From a practical point of view, whether life is full of joy or pain, people should face it. Some young people don't like to listen to "suffering" and feel that Buddhism is negative and pessimistic, but the reality itself is suffering, and we cannot deceive ourselves into saying "bitterness" as "sweetness", otherwise, when the pain comes, some people may not be able to face it, and then choose some extreme behaviors, or even commit suicide.

For many practitioners, although they also encounter suffering in their lives, they are able to face it and turn it into a way to treat it, so since ancient times, very few practitioners have committed suicide.

Fu Xueyuan is in the Dragon Temple, practicing Buddhism, and the progress is very fast.
