Chapter 22: The Truth
"Do you mean the wolf?"
The vampire felt a chill on the back of his neck, which was a very normal assumption, but it was best not to say it when there was a werewolf around.
"I don't know! I've never seen a dog, or a wolf, it's that big! like a bear! black, blending with the sky!" Neil's face was full of fear, "but its teeth...... Cold, miserable white ......"
Zach frowned, Neil and Dafanie's disappearance happened the day after the full moon, and it shouldn't have been a werewolf. Could it be the illusion of a phantom person? The delusion is that two people are eaten by a big black dog or a wolf? Someone's imagination is too rich.
"You say it attacked you, but you weren't hurt. Zach thought for a moment, "Actually, none of your clothes are damaged. β
"No!" Neil's head began to shake, and Zach continued to hold his chin to keep his gaze off him, the enchanting pupil that had been a source of confusion was now a pillar for the other party to keep his sanity.
"It bites Daphany's head! right in front of my eyes!"
Neil's body struggled, Zach pressed his arms and leaned his face closer to him, "She's fine, she's lying next to her, you know right." She's not hurt, it's just that now she's going to hurt herself, and you're going to help us, and then we can help her and not let her hurt herself. Do you understand?"
The struggling body calmed down again, and the vampire's forehead was already bursting with green tendons. Zach felt a hint of fatigue.
As Neil kept muttering, 'To help Daphany,' Zach continued, "And then what happened?"
"I, I tried to hold her, but, I, I was caught by another monster! It, its claws were like blades! it stabbed me in the body, and pulled me out of the bus!"
"Two?" Zach confirmed. If this was Papa's new 'thing' at midnight, and there were two more, the vampire who hadn't even been able to solve it would be very frustrating.
"No! a bunch!" Neil's eyes widened.
That's a terrible answer.
"And then. Zach grimaced, "You've been missing for nearly four days, what happened in those four days?"
"I, we're tormented!" Neil's face was filled with fear, "they gnaw at our bodies...... I, I see my own internal organs...... They ate Daphine......"
"I told you! Daphany is fine, she's not hurt in the slightest!" Zach was starting to get a little impatient, if it weren't for the fact that the other man's eyes were still reflecting his red eyes, he would have thought that this madman had escaped the control of the pupil of charm.
Zach continued to tighten his control, "You too, you don't have any injuries all over your body. Both of you are very healthy and no one is hurting you. The only people who will hurt you now are yourselves, and you have to help us find what made you who you are, for yourself, and more importantly, for Daphany, do you understand?!"
"I ...... I ......" Neil's eyes widened, his jaw trembling, and confusion in his eyes. It's not the confusion of the mind that the enchanted pupil is trying to invade, but the confusion caused by the conflict of reality. If you need an example, Kyle who sees 'Connor' reborn is one.
"I, I saw ......it! Kill us, over and over again...... There is no end...... He, he kept asking us...... Who, who opened the door......"
There is one more in the personal name.
Zach tried his best to find a little breakthrough in this crazy man's crazy words.
"Who is he, tell me first where you are. β
Whewβ
The red reflected in Neil's eyes was suddenly replaced by a burst of white light! The vampire suddenly bounced up from the side of the bed, covered his eyes that emitted a dazzling white light, and took a few steps back!
Losing the dominance of the pupil of charm, Neil's mind was instantly scattered, and as soon as he opened his mouth wide, Benjamin's hand had already grabbed the rubber stopper next to the bed and stuffed it back into his mouth!
"What's going on!" Benjamin's shoulders tensed, his hands pressed on Neil's forehead and chin, and he looked sideways at Zack, who was holding his head down and covering his eyes, and there was a burning stench in the air.
Benjamin's brow furrowed, he pulled out a hand and picked up the belt he had just unfastened, refastened it, and continued to shout to the vampire, "Are you alright?!"
"No, I'm bad. Zack's voice was cold, and the hand under his forehead slowly moved away, revealing his closed eyes.
The vampire's sunken eyelids slowly squirmed and bulged into the shape of an eyeball, turning slightly. His eyelashes fluttered up slowly, revealing a gap in his eye.
Benjamin stared at the vampire, his hands moving, Neil had been put back on his mask, and the straps on his forehead and neck were tightened again.
Benjamin left the bedside, walked over to Zach, and pressed Zach's shoulder. Benjamin was much taller than Zach, and the werewolf pressed his neck to stare at the vampire's slowly opening eyes.
White, no pupils and no iris, only a faint red circle printed on the position of the pupil, Benjamin's tightened pupils can see that the red silk thread is slowly extending into the circle, trying to reconstruct the pupil and improve the structure of the eyeball.
"You're blind. Benjamin said with a frown.
"I know. Zach replied coldly, "They're burned, and I need to heal myself." β
"What do you see?"
It's a very mindless question, and if a vampire can 'see', it doesn't need to be asked. But now, the vampire's eyes are burned and crippled, and the only possibility is that he sees something he shouldn't see and is eaten back.
Zach had already taken his bottle in his hand, unscrewed the mouth, and a pair of white eyes stared blankly ahead, the bottom of the bottle had turned to the ceiling.
"Not enough. Zach put away the bottle, the red line in his eyes still thin. He patted Benjamin on the shoulder, his lips grinning, his sharp teeth poking out in front of the werewolf's face. Even if they don't have vision, vampires can pinpoint exactly where their food is!
Benjamin frowned, trying not to look at the vampire eating, and he stood in the way of Daphany's sight. Even for the mentally disturbed, there is no need to see their new husband being drawn as a blood jar.
Neil's struggle gradually weakened, and even the terrible bloodshot in his wide eyes dissipated a lot.
Zach raised his head in satisfaction, the tip of his tongue licking away the bright red of the tip of his teeth as he retracted. The eyes that had been closed for comfort opened, and the crimson slowly contracted on the iris to the pupils, and then retreated deeper into the eyeballs, leaving only a pair of normal light green eyes.
Zach looked down to see that Neil had fallen into a slumber, and the two wounds on his neck were slowly healing. Zach let out a long breath.
"What's going on. Benjamin asked again, "What is it?"
"Hmph. Zach turned around and smiled helplessly, "We were so wrong." Not Papa Midnight, not Phantom Man. Zach looked at Benjamin, "Benjamin, do you know where they were those days?"
Benjamin's brow tightened as he watched Zach wait for an answer.
"Hell. Zach revealed the answer, "They were dragged into hell by Cerberus." β
The atrium of Quest Manor is not large, and the pool and surrounding facilities occupy more than half of it, and the attentive person will notice that there is no Zack reflected next to half of Benjamin's body. But now there was no one in the atrium, only a man dressed as a servant, and when he saw the two brothers of Grande come out, he immediately turned and went inside, apparently to make a report.
By the time Zach and Benjamin returned to the main hall, Quest had hurried this way. He ordered a few of the servants back to their suites, their faces still gloomy, but they looked at them expectantly.
"How's it going? Did you find anything?"
"Very smooth. Zach smiled. The smile is very sincere, Neil tastes good, and if he can, the vampire will say 'thank you for the hospitality'.
Benjamin rubbed his nose and his eyes drifted to one side boredly, the job of speaking was always left to Zack.
"Luckily, we asked for the name of the kidnapper. Ignoring Quest's anxious and agitated feelings, Zach deliberately slowed his tone.
"Who?!Who is it!!"
As soon as Zack's last note ended, the controlling Quest master roared loudly. It was so smooth that Zach was a little embarrassed to continue seducing him.
"Daniel. Zach uttered a name.
"Who?!Who is he!"
"Oh no. Zach frowned hypocritically, "Mr. Quest, I'm so sorry for saying something superfluous. We should bring him in and complete the commission. β
Grande's two brothers turned and walked out of the manor.
"Wait!" Quest stepped forward and grabbed Zack's arm as if frightened, "Who is Daniel?!
Benjamin couldn't bear to look at Zach's furrowed brow.
"Mr. Quest, are you going to change the commission again?" Zach turned his face sideways and looked at Quest with great dissatisfaction.
"Yes! I want to change the commission! I want this person's name!Daniel, Daniel what?!"
Zach shook off Quest's grip and said gloomily, "Mr. Quest, are you playing with our Grande?"
"No ......"
"No more! You're a very bad employer, and now, Grande is resigning from this commission!"
"Wait!" Quest chased after the two who kept walking out, "Wait......"
Benjamin turned, his thick arms pushing Quest away to grab Zach, and the servants in the main hall bowed their heads as they watched their master fall on the gray inky tiles.
Zach stood behind Benjamin and gave Quest a cold look, "Last commission, please send the check to Grande's mailbox." Good luck, Quest. β
Benjamin's van started and drove out of the manor, and the security guards looked at the faces of the two people in the car, and then looked at the owner who was standing inside the manor door, trembling with anger, but did not give the order to stop him, and let him go.
The truck headed out of the West District.
"Are you sure that phantom man has been dragged back to hell by Cerberus?" Benjamin spun on the radio button with one hand, hoping to find a channel that matched his interests.
Zach shrugged, "Whatever." The gates of hell have been opened, and the watchdogs (Cerberus) have their masters again, and the wandering souls of their masters are the most beloved things of their masters. What do you think?"
Benjamin smacked his mouth and tilted his head. For Alpha, it was really difficult to choose between a group of demonic loyal dogs and a phantom person of the lower level of the alien race.
"We have more important things to do now. Zach stretched his body, as if thinking about something, "Go and tell James that I was wrong, well, and go to church to find the guy who burned my eye." Which one should you do first?"
Benjamin found a radio station, his fingers twitching to the rhythm, and looked at Zach with a smile, "How about James first." β
"Oh, Ben!" Zach looked at Benjamin, "I'm so sad!"
"Ben, Jay, Ming. β
Now Benjamin has decided to really go to James first.
Never mess with the person behind the wheel.
