Chapter 110: The History of Maoshan Righteous Path (II)
In the concept of ghost worship in ancient China, based on the ideas of Huang and Lao Taoism, the Heavenly Master Taoist respected Lao Tzu as the Taishang Laojun, inherited the immortal arts, and pursued the highest state of immortality, immortality, and salvation.
To put it bluntly, the Heavenly Master Dao is a master of the Tao in the cultivation of the Dao, and in popular terms, it is relatively comprehensive and all-encompassing.
Moreover, the first generation of Heavenly Masters of the Heavenly Master Dao stipulated,
Therefore, with the development of time, China's Taoism has separated several factions from the orthodox sect of Tianshi Tao.
These factions, according to the different emphasis of cultivation content and the different pursuits, can be roughly divided into five branches, namely: Sutu, Mai, Zhongge, Quanzhen, and our Maoshan Mountain.
These factions occupy an important position in the history of Taoism in China, and they can be said to have led the way for hundreds of years in different periods.
Let's start with the first four.
The main feng shui, attacking the building, is the so-called feng shui master,.
The strength of this faction in Sutu is the weakest, because it does not have its own systematic sect organization, and the doctrine is only one "Book of Changes", which is basically integrated into other sects to survive, so the general Taoist priests who practice will have some feng shui, but there are still many more famous feng shui masters in history, I remember that there is a monk in the history books who is a feng shui master.
Throughout the ages, Chinese people have paid attention to feng shui, and where feng shui is good, living here symbolizes prosperity and hopes to make future generations rich and prominent.
Because it is mainly related to the location, orientation, and construction of palaces, residences, villages, and cemeteries, it is a very important factor in clothing, food, housing, and transportation, so the Sutu faction is the richest faction in Taoism, and it is never short of money.
However, the fate of the Sutu faction was also the worst.
In order to prevent the craftsmen and feng shui masters who participated in the closure of the burial palace, the emperor set up organs and closed the gate of the underground palace, and the gate of the tomb was immediately closed, and no one could come out, and it would become the emperor's burial.
Mai, the main divination, looking at the physiognomy.
This should be common, on the overpass, or near a tourist attraction, there are often stalls for fortune telling, most of which use linen for divination.
In our hometown, there is such a fortune teller, he does not let people call him fortune teller, let him shout "sir", it is said that this gentleman is famous, bullish is very angry, the temper is also very stinky, he stipulates that he is a linen heir, can not leak too much heavenly secrets, only willing to tell fortunes twenty times a day, that is, only twenty fortune tellers, so to find him fortune telling, you also need to register, the registration fee alone is hundreds of yuan, there is no registration appointment, is to ask grandpa to tell grandma, he is also indifferent, but even so, looking for him fortune teller, Almost every day, they held him up to heaven and called him "God Operator".
However, these are charlatans, and it is not believable, because the real Mai has been destroyed by the Red Guards when ********** was broken.
The ancestor of the Mai sect is the Mai Taoist, the Mai Taoist, surnamed Li, and the name He. Born in the Northern Song Dynasty, he is a native of Nanyang, Henan.
You may not know him, but you always know that Chen Tuan Ancestor is the master of the Mai School, and his master is the Mai Daoist, who is a legendary monk of the Song Dynasty.
The teachings of the Mai school include "Mai Shenxiang", "Huozhulin" and a volume of Yixue treatise "Mai Zhengyi Xinfa" handed down by Chen Tuan Lao Zu in the form of annotations, among which "Mai Shenxiang" is the most classic.
Chen Yishan, a disciple of Chen Luan's ancestor, wrote a strange book "Yishan Gonglu" after collecting all the world's techniques, Kanyu, medical divination, Qimen, and astrological sects, and the disciples in the door uphold the principle of benefiting the world and valuing harmony, and enter the world to practice, live with the common people, and also coarse cloth linen, which is also a reason why later people called the Mai School.
The Mai faction is not completely literary, there are also main martial arts, and there are many magic weapons, but the most famous is the Mai Holy Knife.
But because the Mai faction is alive among the common people, when the ********** is carried out, the Mai faction because all the disciples are practicing in the world, so the Mai faction is regarded as a key target, after ten years of blows, and now the "Mai Shenxiang" circulating on the market is the most classic work of the Mai faction, after ten years of suppression, the Mai faction finally could not bear the huge blow and gradually disappeared from the historical stage of Taoism.
The pavilion, the main practice, the pursuit of enlightenment and immortality.
In fact, all sects of Taoism are pursuing the Tao to become immortals, especially the Quanzhen Sect, but unlike the Quanzhen Sect, the Zhongge pays more attention to immortality and attaining the Tao to become immortals.
According to the records of "Hanshu: Tao Te Biography", as early as the beginning of the Han Dynasty, Taoism separated the prototype of Zhongge and Quanzhen, and the Taoist cultivation of Zhongge is more famous for being over 300 years old but looking like 30, shape-shifting phantoms, flying eaves and walls, and the ability to turn stones into gold is like the gathering of ants and so on.
I think this faction of the pavilion is the most unrealistic, for thousands of years, there are ghosts, monsters, and even devils, I believe in it, but the gods, I don't believe it, after all, no one has ever seen it with their own eyes, even if it is our ancestor, it is just a wisp of remnants in the world.
But even so, the name of the pavilion is very loud, because there is a more famous sect whose name is related to it, and the later Wudang is a branch of the Taoist pavilion.
Now let's talk about the truth.
Quanzhen Sect focuses on physical cultivation to maximize people's potential.
This is the most familiar to us, and the fame of the Quanzhen Sect can be said to be above all sects, both in history and among the people.
Jin Yong's martial arts "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", and "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", "The Legend of the Condor Heroes", and the Taoist priests in it are all disciples of the Quanzhen Sect, which makes us know the Quanzhen Sect very well, and the most famous ones are the patriarch Wang Chongyang and the seven sons of Quanzhen.
Quanzhen Taoism, also known as Quanzhen Sect and Quanzhen Dao, is the most important sect of Taoism, which has always represented the mainstream of Taoism in the world and is regarded as "Taishang Xuanmen Authentic Sect" by the world.
The Quanzhen Sect is also the only sect that can be compared to the Heavenly Master Dao.
The founding patriarch Wang Yao, the road number Chongyangzi, is a native of Xianyang, Shaanxi. In his early years, Wang Chongyang was the champion of the martial arts, but later resigned and went into hiding.
In the fourth year of Zhenglong (1159), he met the immortals by chance in Ganhe Town, and it is rumored that he was the second of the eight immortals of Han Zhongli and Lu Dongbin, and was awarded the golden pill formula. Then he lived in seclusion in Zhongnan Mountain, cultivated for three years, and founded the Quanzhen Sect.
The Quanzhen Religion flourished in the Yuan Dynasty.
In the early Yuan Dynasty, at the age of 74, Qiu Chuji Zhenren traveled 35,000 miles from Kunyu Mountain in Shandong Province, and took the opportunity to "a generation of Tianjiao" Genghis Khan in Central Asia, and achieved the historic feat of "stopping killing in one word" and the Han and Mongolian legends, and was worshiped by Genghis Khan and called him "immortal", worshiped as a national teacher, and was in charge of Taoism and all religious affairs in the world, laying a solid foundation for the great development of Taoism and even the whole Taoism. After Yin Zhiping and Li Zhichang successively took charge of teaching, the Quanzhen Tao entered its heyday, the Taoism flourished, and the palaces were everywhere. [4]
During the decline of Taoism in the Ming and Qing dynasties, only the Quanzhen sect was once "revived", and other Taoist sects, such as the Heavenly Master Dao, were mostly in decline.
In addition to comprehensively and profoundly inheriting traditional Taoist thoughts, Quanzhen Sect has also reorganized Taoist cultural treasures such as rituals, precepts, talismans, and pills, laying the foundation for today's Taoism.
The Ming and Qing dynasties were widely spread throughout the country, and even in remote areas such as the northeast, southwest, and northwest.
Now the site of the China Taoist Association is the Beijing Baiyun Temple, one of the ancestral gardens of Longmen.
Okay, now it's finally time for us to get to the right path in Maoshan Mountain.
