The first is the corpse Buddha of Vibha, the second is the Buddha of the corpse, the third is the Buddha of Vaishafu, the fourth is the Buddha of the detention of Sun, the fifth is the Buddha of Kannahamuni, the sixth is the Buddha of the Gyalaba, and the seventh is the Buddha Shakyamuni;

In the future, there will be 995 Buddhas such as Maitreya Buddha. Every Buddha is born, and he speaks the Dharma to educate all people; Because everyone has Buddha nature, starting from nature, and achieving full results, everyone can become a Buddha. ”

In the forty-ninth year of the Dharma, more than 300 lectures have been held, and among the scriptures said, there is a Jizo Sutra. Why did the Buddha say the "Jizo Sutra"? ”

Xiao Lingjue replied: "Because when the Buddha was about to die, there were still many sentient beings who had not yet realized the Tao and were floating and sinking in the sea of suffering, and the Buddha deliberately handed over these sentient beings to the Jizo Bodhisattva to live, so it is said that this sutra is also a 'sutra of entrustment'. ”

This is what the Master of the Seven Sins told him, and Xiao Lingjue has always kept it in his heart and dare not forget it.

The old monk smiled: "It seems that someone once taught you, but your comprehension of the Jizo Sutra can only be in its form, not its spirit." ”

"Jizo Bodhisattva uses great divine power to transform sentient beings everywhere and at all times, leaving the suffering of the three paths and winning people's heavenly happiness; Only in the way of human heaven can we practice enlightenment, and it can be said that this sutra is the "human heaven cause and effect scripture". Fivefold: one interpretation, two manifestations, three Mingzong, four treatises, and five judgments. "Name" is a pseudonym:

The Dharma is nameless, and the Buddhas are the names of the Dharma. Under the pseudonym, there must be a real "body", and the practitioner will seek a proper name.

"Zong" is the purpose: the body is not the sect, but the purpose will be the body.

"Use" is function: immeasurable function, not departing from the original sect, because of the use of Mingzong.

Before the function is present, the power is deep and shallow, and the "judgment" is attributed to the big and small power and the real "teaching". It's a five-fold name. ”
