Chapter Sixty-Four: The Black Mask

Back at Wayne Manor, Bruce has left the manor to fulfill his long-unfulfilled obligations as owner of Wayne Enterprise, and Alfred is busy tidying up his room.

Seeing Jason return, he thoughtfully asked him if he needed breakfast, and after receiving a negative answer, he continued to busy himself with his work.

Jason looked out the window at the garden, which was not small, and felt some sympathy for the dutiful housekeeper.

There are so many secrets in Wayne Manor that Alfred only hires career gardeners, temporary workers who are responsible for the renovation of Wayne's garden. And the sanitation of the inside of the huge manor is almost all his responsibility. Fortunately, all the new household cleaning robots produced by Wayne Enterprises will appear in this manor, and the existence of high-tech household cleaning robots has reduced a lot of burden on this old man.

Jason was sitting in a daze in the training city, and the news he got from Zach was a bit indigestible for him, and he was in no mood to train today.

Mother, this is a term he had never thought of before. The strangeness left him a little confused, and it felt like the first time he came to Wayne Manor to sit at the table with a vintage pattern carved and facing a steaming steak.

It's impossible to say that he doesn't care at all, what does that woman look like, is it the same hair color and eyes as him?

Zach said that he looked more and more like the woman, so it should be the same, after all, the man was not red-haired and green-eyed.

Jason stood in front of the mirror, looking at the face reflected in the mirror.

Looks pretty good, at least judging by the reaction of Barbara and the girls at school. No matter how you look at it, it's a teenager's face, and this face shouldn't be mistaken for a girl. How can this look like a woman?

Jason thought about it in the mirror for a long time, but he couldn't imagine what kind of woman it was, so that she could look so similar to this obviously teenager's face.

“... I should have asked Zach more."

Jason regretted that he didn't get Zack to ask him a good question about the woman, but Zach probably didn't know much.

Untrained, and unable to read the book at all, Jason finally arrives at the Bat Cave, although Zach doesn't say it, but the person who makes him have to give up practicing medicine should be Black Mask.

Bruce has been tracking down something related to Black Mask lately, and the guy who caused him and Bruce to argue before is the guy who has a relationship with Black Mask. However, because of his recklessness, this line has now been scrapped.

Turning on the computer, Jason expertly searched the system and the Internet for information. Bruce has created a separate file specifically for each criminal, including the Black Mask's. Open the file contents, and everything Black Mask has done in the past.

Black Mask, whose real name is Roman Siennis, is also the heir to a large family in Gotham.

"How come the big family always produces perverted criminals??"

Jason couldn't help complaining, two of the underground bosses in Gotham came out of the Gotham family, and although there was no perverted criminal, there was a perverted vigilante, Jason glanced at this bat cave with a very alien technology texture and came to the conclusion that "the big family specializes in perverts".

Despite all the complaints, Black Mask and Bruce have nothing in common other than that they both like to wear masks. Black Mask is a madman with a sharp tendency to violence, and there is a big speculation about the death of his parents that Black Mask killed his parents in order to inherit the property of the Sinion family, but there is no evidence to support this statement, not to mention that Black Mask was still a child at the time. Black Mask is the same age as Bruce, and because they are both the only children of a large family, the two were friends when they were young, at least that's what Bruce thought. After Bruce's parents had an accident, Roman's parents soon had an accident, and although Bruce didn't say anything, Jason instinctively felt that there must be some connection between the death of Roman's parents and the death of Bruce's parents.

I've heard some stories from Alfred about Roman and Bruce playing together as children, but the so-called friendship in Alfred's mouth seems to Jason to be a comparison, and Bruce sees Roman as a friend, but Roman probably doesn't necessarily think so.

"Hmph, maybe this guy is jealous that Bruce inherited the huge Wayne business at such a young age, so he set fire to his parents so that he could inherit the family"

Sadly, however, Roman is almost clueless in business, and their family's inherited fiery temper seems to have been carried forward by him. Soon after Roman came of age, the Siannis family's business failed at the mall and soon became bankrupt before being bought by Bruce.

And Roman has also become a black mask, his fiery temper that is completely inapplicable in the serious mall, but it is particularly suitable for Gotham's underground society, and soon he became one of the bosses of Gotham's underworld, and also became one of Batman's most dangerous enemies, even ranking above the Joker in terms of danger, because he is very close to Bruce. Wayne harbored a strong hatred.

Jason wasn't interested in Black Mask's past, he just wanted to know what that guy wanted to do now.

Theoretically, even gangsters don't usually go out of their way to offend black doctors, even if they have their own personal doctors. There doesn't seem to be any conflict of interest between Black Mask and Zach either.

Compared with other bigwigs, the biggest advantage of Black Mask is that his purpose is easy to guess, Dick once said that among all the criminals in Gotham, he likes Black Mask the most, because Black Mask has the most normal reason for committing crimes - money.

"That guy Zach won't say anything at all"

If the conflict between him and Black Mask could be taken from Zack's mouth, it would be a lot easier for Jason. But Zach wouldn't say anything, and Jason couldn't tell him that he was Robin, and the massive search for information gave Jason a bit of a headache.

As far as Jason used to know, the conflicts between the black doctors and the gangsters were usually medical expenses, or the black doctors knew something they shouldn't know and were killed. What did Zach know that he shouldn't know? Zach has always been very cautious, he never asks about superfluous things, he doesn't ask patients any questions other than medical needs, where do patients come from, he doesn't ask; He doesn't even ask where the patients are going, and he doesn't even know what many patients are called, except for his scumbag daddy, who is a particularly frequent regular. Because of this code, he has always been at peace with the gangs in this area, why would he suddenly be targeted by Black Mask?

Jason held the mouse and kept clicking on the Black Mask's file, but this pointless mechanical repetition that simply consumed energy only made him more irritable.
