1-4 NCAA schedule

(1) The NCAA schedule is divided into 5 stages.

The first stage, the pre-competition training stage: generally around October 15 to December 01 every year, a total of 6 weeks, arrange the overall training of the whole team.

Phase 2, Preseason: December 01 - around January 01.

Due to the NBA draft and student graduation, the NCAA roster changes a lot.

This stage of the game is also a warm-up match, and the results of the game are not included in the subsequent league results. The main purpose is to run in the team, check the training effect, inspect the new team members, and it is also the mutual investigation stage.

Both sides of the tournament are not university teams from the same region, and the game is played in a home-and-away or conference format.

The third stage, regular season, 01/01-03/01.

Official leagues in each district begin. According to the preseason competition, each team should carry out a number of preparations: through the preseason video data, statistics, etc., to improve and stabilize the team's playing style; Learn about the opponents in the area, including video footage, technical analysis, adjustments to new and old players, etc.

The tournament is roughly 2 matches per week, all of which are home and away.

The first place in each district will go straight to the round of 64.

According to the results of the competition, the district with more strong teams can send another 2-4 teams to enter the round of 64. After the home and away games of the district with many strong teams, another round of knockout matches will be held, and the teams that will enter the top 64 will be selected in 2-3 days.

Phase 4, March Madness, March 01-March 31, NCAA Playoffs.

Throughout the month of March, sports television channels across the United States broadcast or broadcast NCAA college basketball leagues like never before.

Due to the full involvement of the media, it has attracted great attention from the society. Big companies, associations, societies, and fans are watching and supporting their favorite teams and stars with full attention. The level of attention is even better than that of NBA games.

The round of 64 matches are a tournament system knockout round, and the competition is very fierce, as long as you lose a game, you will be eliminated, which is very cruel.

Some major media outlets, newspapers such as USTODAY, ESPN and other institutions, together with some basketball experts, comprehensively evaluate a school's ranking based on factors such as the ranking of the game, the results and performance of the entire league, etc.

The result of the game is an interesting quiz that everyone from the president to the fans will participate in.

The fifth stage, the adjustment and rest stage: 04 months - 10 months.

The NCAA coaching staff began casting a wide net to recruit high school basketball talent for their own doors.

The specific content includes information on the player's learning situation, physical condition, style of play, personality, technical characteristics, etc., and whether the athlete can develop in the future, whether it can be suitable for the team's style of play, whether it can be integrated into the school and other information and materials, and finally summarize the report and report it to the head coach.

High school players often have to choose between a favorite legendary head coach and a local university.

In addition to the enrollment and training of athletes, in order to cooperate with the future enrollment and training of the younger generation of basketball players, we organize voluntary activities such as basketball summer camps (for a fee) during the holidays, lectures and training in middle schools. It is mainly carried out by assistant coaches.

In order to avoid vicious competition between universities in recruitment, the NCAA stipulates that the standards for athlete scholarships are uniform, which also curbs the advantage of financially powerful universities in recruitment.

The NCAA has strict rules for college basketball teams: they can only practice as a whole during the six weeks of the preseason and cannot exceed 10 hours per week.

At other times, the number of players coached by the coach cannot exceed 4.

Therefore, training during the holidays is mainly to practice individual skills or small cooperation of 2-3 people. The purpose of the regulations is that students should also have sufficient time to study.

And, there are special teachers to check the student's learning and completion, and if the athlete does not complete the prescribed course, he will not be able to participate in the league.

The funds for sports competitions and training mainly come from alumni (individuals), companies, groups, social funding and sponsorship, and income from television broadcasts, advertisements, tickets, souvenirs, etc., to pay for coaches' salaries, athletes' scholarships, league expenses, and the consumption of regular training. Most of the funding comes from alumni and community organizations.

If the team's results this year are not satisfactory and they are retreating, then these alumni and social funding will be cancelled in the coming year, which means that the head coach will have no money to train and play, and you will be laid off.
