Chapter 14: Anger
Section I
"Your Highness, who do you think would do it?" In the Slytherin common room, Sauron, Epikos, and Isabella sit around the couch by the fireplace.
"It's not clear." Sauron shook his head, "But it's unlikely to be a student, even Dumbledore can't break the spell, and someone who hasn't touched the source of magic can't use it." β
"But what if it wasn't caused by a spell?" Isabella asked softly.
Sauron looked at Isabella, then at Ibikos, frowned, and said, "In that case, I'm afraid the rumors of the Chamber of Secrets are true." β
"Do we need to do something about it?" Ibikos asked.
"We don't do anything." Sauron shook his head and said, "Whatever the reason for that cat's petrification, the people who did it will definitely take action, and now is not the time for us to act." However, everyone has been careful lately, although that person is pretending to be the heir of Slytherin, he may not be our friend. β
"Your Highness, if the rumors in the secret room are true, can we deal with them?" Ibikos asked.
"No matter what monster is in the chamber, I'm sure I'll get rid of it," Sauron said calmly, "and the one who opens the chamber is the key." β
For the next few days, most of the students were discussing the Vault, and even the Slytherins were not immune to it - most of them were excitedly discussing the Chamber of Secrets and guessing who would be the heir of the Slytherin. However, the effect of the Chamber of Secrets was nothing more than that, the students were just curious, and did not panic because Lady Loris was attacked, in fact, most of the students were happy that Lady Loris was petrified.
Relations between the Slytherins and students from other houses have become even more strained, especially with Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. The Slytherins had always hated Muggle-born students, and the attack had made their attitude even more apparent, for which Epikos sternly warned them, and privately reprimanded Draco Malfoy, who had taken the lead.
"Draco, remember that you're a Slytherin, and a nobleman, don't always be so superficial." Ibikos said sternly.
However, attention quickly turned to Saturday's Quidditch match. Slytherin had new Seekers, and all of them were equipped with new broomsticks, the "Halo 2001", which made everyone pay attention to the game, and on Saturday morning, the field was full of not only Slytherin and Gryffindor, but also Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students.
Instead of going to the game, Sauron went alone to the place where Lady Loris was attacked that day. There was no one in the hallway, and they all gathered on the pitch. Sauron's scene was the same as it had been that night, except that the petrified cat was no longer hanging from the torch stand, and leaned against an empty chair on the wall where the words "The Chamber of Secrets was opened."
Sauron leaned over to the wall and looked closely at the handwriting written in some kind of blood, Sauron could feel the subtle fluctuations in magic on it, and it was clear that the inferiority complex was a constant spell that could not be erased. Other than that, there is nothing special about these words, like a boring prank. Sauron turned to look elsewhere, and suddenly, Sauron's pupils shrank slightly.
"It's, scorched marks." Sauron whispered to himself. The traces on the floor are unnatural and new, apparently recent. The students were not allowed to cast magic in the hallway, and other actions could not have left scorch marks on the floor, so there was only one explanation, which was left by the attack that night.
Sauron was about to continue looking elsewhere when he heard footsteps, and a man came out of the corner, it was Isabella.
"Your Highness, I have found you." Isabella gasped, "Harry had an accident, Bludger broke his arm, and he should have been sent to Madam Pomfrey by now." β
"Hell." Sauron muttered, "Thank you, Isabella, I'll go over now." After saying that, he walked in the direction of the school hospital.
"I'm with you." Isabella followed Sauron.
In the school hospital, Madam Pomfrey was upset.
"You should come to me directly!" She huffed as she lifted Harry's poor, lifeless arm, which had been a free-moving arm half an hour before, but Lockhart had used a wrong spell to turn the bones out of it.
"I'll be able to get the bones together in a secondβbut I'll have to make them grow backβ" Madam Pomfrey frowned.
"You will too, will you?" Harry asked urgently.
"Of course I will, but it will hurt." Madam Pomfrey said with a straight face, throwing Harry a set of pajamas, "You're going to have to spend the night here......
The curtains around Harry's hospital bed were closed, Ron helped him change into his pajamas, and Hermione waited outside. It took a lot of work for them to tuck that rubbery, boneless arm into their sleeves.
"How are you still protecting Lockhart, huh, Hermione?" Ron pulled Harry's limp fingers out of his cuffs one by one as he exclaimed through the curtain, "If Harry wants to take the bones off, he'll bring it up himself."
"Everybody makes mistakes," Hermione said, "and my arm doesn't hurt anymore." Isn't it, Harry?"
"It doesn't hurt," Harry said, "but it can't do anything. He swung his legs to the bed, his arms swinging limply.
Hermione and Madam Pomfrey walked around the curtain. Madam Pomfrey holds a large bottle with the label "Bone Spirit" on it. "It's been a tough night," she said, pouring out a steaming glass and handing it to Harry, "It's hard to have long bones. β
The bones tasted bad, Harry had a hard time, and Madam Pomfrey stepped back, still smacking her lips, complaining that the sport was too dangerous and the teachers were too incompetent. Ron and Hermione stayed in the hospital room and fed Harry a few mouthfuls of water.
"But we won," Ron said, a smile on his face, "thanks to you for catching the Golden Snitch." Malfoy's expression...... He looks like he wants to kill!"
"I wonder what he did to that Bludger." Hermione said angrily. "We can put this question on the list and ask him together after we have drunk the polyjuice decoction." - Although Sauron had already said that he didn't want the three of Harry to be nosy, and Harry did extinguish his superfluous thoughts, it was probably because of Gryffindor's nature that Ron and Hermione finally decided to investigate the matter. They suspect that Malfoy opened the secret room, and in order to prevent him from attacking the other students, Hermione came up with a way to use the polyjuice decoction to become the person next to Malfoy, and then asked Malfoy for the truth.
"I guess if Malfoy really did something to that Bludger and hurt Harry like this, Sauron would have killed him." Ron said, looking at Harry's arm, "But before that, if Sauron had known that Lockhart had removed the bone from Harry's arm, Sauron would have killed Lockhart first." β
Harry opened his mouth a little helplessly, and Hermione whispered, "No, Professor Lockhart didn't mean to, and how could a student beat a professor." She looked a little worried.
"I'm not sure." Ron tilted his lips.
"--Not sure about what?" Sauron's voice.
Sauron and Isabella walked in through the door, Sauron walked over to Harry's bedside and looked at Harry with a frown, "How did this happen, Isabella told me that one of the Bludgers in the game got out of control. β
"Well, he broke Harry's arm." Hermione said with some weakness.
Sauron raised an eyebrow, "If it's just a broken arm, I think Madam Pomfrey will be cured in a few seconds." Sauron looked at the bottle of "Bone Spirit" potion on the table next to him, "Besides, you don't need to drink this for broken bones. Sue me, what the hell is going on? β
"That ......" Hermione pulled him next to him as soon as Ron spoke, but Ron ignored her and hesitated for a moment to say, "After the game, Harry collapsed on the field, and Professor Lockhart used a spell on Harry's arm, which resulted in the bone in Harry's arm......"
As Ron had expected at first, Sauron's face was gloomy and terrifying, he squinted and took a few deep breaths before turning sharply to leave. Isabella, Ron, and Hermione knew exactly what Sauron was going to do, and hurriedly grabbed Sauron.
Just then, the door to the ward suddenly opened, and the Gryffindor team members came to see Harry. One by one, they were covered in mud, like chickens in soup. "Harry, you're flying amazing...... George didn't finish, looking at a few people pulling angry ropes, "what's going on, what are you doing?" β
Seeing the Gryffindors enter, Sauron suppressed the urge to teach Lockhart a lesson now, and waved his hand for Isabella and Ron to let him go.
"Nothing, thank you for coming to see Harry." Sauron said to the Gryffindors.
"Nothing, that's what we're supposed to do. Harry did a great job today, he was our hero. Wood said with a polite smile. In fact, because Sauron was Harry's older brother and was usually friendly to people from other houses, Wood and the other Gryffindors were also very polite to Sauron.
The team members brought cakes, candy and a few bottles of pumpkin juice. They were gathered around Harry's bedside and were about to have a very happy party, when Madam Pomfrey roared and rushed in, "This boy needs to rest, he has thirty-three bones to grow!" Get out! Get out!"
"Goodbye, Harry, recuperate." Sauron said gently, and left.
On the way back to the Slytherin common room, Isabella looked at the expressionless Sauron and asked cautiously, "If we hadn't stopped you just now, what would you have done to that Lockhart?" β
Sauron looked at Isabella and said calmly, "How can I just teach him a hard lesson, I'm not crazy enough to openly kill a teacher in school." β
Isabella breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "What's going on with that Bludger?" Someone put a spell on it? β
Sauron nodded slightly, "A pretty powerful spell, it should be a confusion spell or something, and the person who cast the spell is a master." β
"Could it have something to do with the last attack?" Isabella said, "It could have been done by the same person." β
"It's not clear yet, butβ" Sauron took a deep breath and said coldly.
"Whoever dares to harm the person I want to protect, I will die!"
