Chapter 54: Lupin, Blake, Snape

Section I

Harry made the decision to hand Peter over to the Dementors instead of killing him on the spot. Lupin and Blake respect his wishes, and Lupin casts a spell that ties Peter up. Blake, on the other hand, apologized for Ron's injuries - Ron's leg was broken, and Blake had just been bitten off when he turned into a big dog dragging him.

Several people walked out of the room and returned along the way they came, and when they came to the room downstairs, they were surprised to find that there seemed to be a person in the corner of the wall, fainting among the broken old tables and chairs.

"Don't come here, stay back." Lupin was wary, he raised his wand to his side, the end of which glowed, and walked slowly.

"It's Snape, he's fainted." Lupin said.

"Snape, the slug." Blake snorted disdainfully, "How did he do this?" ”

"I don't know." Lupin shook his head, picking up Snape's wand from the ground beside him, "Looks like he was hit by a spell and someone knocked him unconscious." ”

"Who is it?" Harry asked in a low voice, "You mean there are other people here." ”

"Perhaps." Lupin glanced around warily, "I think we should get out of here right now." He glanced at Snape, "Take him with you." ”

"Why take him." Black said dissatisfied, but cast a levitation charm with Snape's wand, causing the fainted Snape to float in the air and follow them.

Everyone became nervous, thinking that in the darkness around them, there was probably something unknown lurking, and everyone took out their wands and watched their surroundings vigilantly.

It's hard to get back into the tunnels. Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Ron had to walk sideways, with Luhu still pointing his wand at Peter Pettigrew. They marched in a single row along the tunnel. Crook Hill still heads the road. Harry followed Blake, who made Snape float ahead of them; Snape's staggered head slammed into the low top of the tunnel, and Blake deliberately didn't stop it.

"Do you know what that means?" Blake asked Harry abruptly, as they slowly advanced through the tunnels, "Hand over Peter Pettigrew?"

"You're free." Harry said.

"Yes......," Sirius said, "but I'm—"

I don't know if anyone has ever sued you - I am your godfather. ”

"Yes, I know." Harry said.

"Your parents have appointed me as your guardian. If misfortune befalls them...... Of course. If you would like to live with your aunt and uncle, I will understand. Blake hesitated, "But...... Not...... Think about it. Once I regained my reputation...... If you want a ...... A different home ......"

"What-

Do you want to live with you?" He said, unknowingly hitting his head on a protruding stone at the top of the tunnel. "Leaving the Dursleys?"

"Of course, I don't think you will," Blake said quickly, "I understand, I just want to ......"

"Are you crazy?" Harry said, his voice hoarse, the same as Black's. "Of course I want to leave the Dursleys! Do you own a house? When will I be able to move in?"

Blake turned to look at him; Snape's head was grazing the top of the camp road, but Blake didn't seem to care.

"Would you like to?" "Are you serious?"

"Yes, I mean it!" Harry said, "I think Sauron would do the same." ”

Hearing Harry say he would, Blake's thin face showed a real smile for the first time, but when it came to Sauron, Blake's face stiffened and turned lonely.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked in a low voice, sensing the change in Blake's feelings. "I think Sauron would forgive you if he knew the truth."

"I hope so." Blake smiled wryly and shook his head slightly, he hesitated for a moment, and then said slowly, "Promise me, Harry." Remember, no matter what happens, Sauron is your brother, and that will never change. ”

They didn't speak again until they reached the end of the tunnel. Crook Hill was the first to rush upward; It apparently pressed its claws against the knots of the tree, for when the group returned to the ground, the branches of the beating willow were calm.

It was now dark on the ground, and the only light came from the lamps in the castle windows in the distance. Blake frowned, and he and Lupin looked at each other, seeing the same surprise in each other's eyes.

"Somebody's doing magic here." Lupin felt it for a moment, "Like some kind of enchantment or shielding spell." ”

"What for?" Hermione asked curiously.

"The exact purpose is unknown, but it seems to be preventing outside exploration of the area." Blake added, "Powerful spells. ”

"Who could it be?" Lupin frowned, and he looked at Snape to the side, "Could it be him?" ”

"Whatever." Blake said nonchalantly.

They walked quickly across the grounds, and the lights from the castle slowly brightened up. Snape was still floating oddly ahead of Black, his jaw pounding against his chest. As they passed by the edge of the Forbidden Forest, the clouds in the sky dissipated, and a blurred shadow suddenly appeared on the ground.

Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Ron, and the others suddenly stopped and collided with Snape. Blake froze. He held out his arm and motioned for Harry and Hermione to stop moving forward. Harry could see Lupin's silhouette from the side. He stiffened. Then his limbs began to tremble.

"Oh my gosh—" Hermione gasped, "he didn't take his medicine tonight!" He's not safe!"

"Run," Blake whispered. He grabbed Harry's arm and shoved him back, "Let me take care of it - run!"

With a terrible roar, Lupin's head elongated. His body was the same—his shoulders were arched, hair was clearly visible on his face and hands, and his hands were curled into claws.

Sirius jerked forward, transforming into a dog as huge as a bear in the air. Blake pounced, and Lupin frantically bit and pounced. Harry was stunned by the sight, watching them fight and not paying attention to anything else.

"Be careful, Harry." Hermione screamed - Peter Pettigrew pounced on Harry, pulled the pendant out of his jacket pocket before Harry was unprepared, and ran quickly towards the bushes on the side. Ron tried to stop him, but he was unsteady on his feet due to the bandaged leg and was knocked down by Peter, and the leg bone that had been connected seemed to break again, and the pain almost made him faint.

"Stop him, don't let him deform." Hermione shouted.

Harry pulled out his wand and pointed it at Pettigrew. Faint! Harry shouted, and a red light shot out of his wand and flew towards Peter.

Suddenly, a circle of black flames ignited around Peter Pettigrew, and the Stun Charm was annihilated without even a ripple when it touched the black flames. Under Harry's angry and helpless gaze, Peter turned into a rat and burrowed into the bushes.

"Broken bones!" Harry shouted in rage, and the bright golden spell struck the bushes, blowing up a large branch in vain. Right before his eyes, Peter Pettigrew fled.

A howl of pain drew Harry's attention back, and both the big dog and the werewolf were badly wounded, but apparently the former was in worse condition, and Black had several deep wounds on his body, and the blood almost soaked his hair. He tried in vain to bite the werewolf to stop him from approaching Harry, and the werewolf flicked its claws in rage, sending Black flying.

"Nope." Harry shouted, pointing his wand at the werewolf, "Remove your weapon!" ”

The spell struck the werewolf, knocking him to the ground, but it didn't hurt him. It lunged at Harry and Hermione. Suddenly, a red light struck the werewolf, who was knocked down, but quickly got back to his feet, furiously searching for his enemies.

"Run, Harry!" Snape shouted, and he woke up. But he seemed to be injured, and he sat there, wand in hand, "Run, I'll drag it." ”

Enraged, the werewolf lunged at Snape, who fired another spell, but it deftly dodged it, so close that Snape could already see the cold glow from the werewolf's sharp teeth. The werewolf raised its claws in the air, and the next moment it landed on Snape's head......

A dark shadow swooped up and knocked the werewolf out of the way—it was Blake, and the big dog used all his strength to bite the werewolf, tangled with it, and then rolled down the hillside behind the bushes.

"Sirius!" Harry shouted, and he ran after him, Hermione following him.

"Don't go, you fool!" Snape shouted angrily, struggling to his feet. As if the wound had been touched, his face turned pale, and his fingers were digging deep into the mud with great force, but in the end he failed, and he fell to the ground again, only to watch as Harry and Hermione disappeared down the hillside.

Silently, a black mist condensed from the air, and Sauron stood in the shadows in the distance, looking at Snape who was constantly struggling to get up, his hand holding the wand tightened, and finally, with a sigh, turned into black fog and flew down the hillside.

In the valley, Blake lay motionless by the lake, he had changed back into human form, and collapsed there, pale as if dead. Harry and Hermione stood beside him, their faces equally bloodless, their eyes filled with deep horror - there were at least a hundred of them, black and black, sliding towards them around the lake. The air in the valley became cold, and a thin layer of ice gradually formed on the surface of the lake.

Harry's body shuddered involuntarily, the cold sensation seeping through his guts, the mist began to blur his vision, and more and more Dementors surged in the darkness in all directions, enveloping them tightly in the middle.

"Hermione, think of happy things!" Harry screamed and raised his wand, blinking furiously trying to see better, shaking his head to get rid of the faint scream that had begun in his head—

I'm going to live with my godfather. I'm leaving the Dursleys. He forced himself to think of Sirius, only to Sirius, and began to chant, "Divine Guard!" Calling the gods to protect them!"

However, it had no effect, although he had been able to summon a Patronus skillfully, but under the influence of so many Dementors, his mind was close to collapse, and he could not concentrate at all, and could only touch a faint white mist with his wand, which had no effect at all.

"Divine Guard!" Harry kept shouting, but in vain, "Hermione, help me!" Calling the gods to protect them!"

"Huh-" Hermione whispered, "Huh-Huh-" but she couldn't speak, and her head was dizzy.

The Dementors were approaching, less than ten feet away from them. They formed a solid wall around Harry and Hermione, and they were getting closer......

Harry's consciousness began to blur, and the strength seemed to be constantly being withdrawn from him, he didn't even have the strength to shout, and he noticed that Hermione had fallen, and he held on, but to no avail. He felt his knees touch the cold ground, and by the faint light he could see the horror beneath the dementor's turban—only a thin crust of gray skin where there should have been eyes, monotonously covered in empty eye sockets; But it has a mouth...... A shapeless hole, sucking in air with the sound of a guthorn before death.

The Dementors were getting closer, and several of them were already surrounding Hermione and Sirius, as if they were about to suck their souls......

Harry was almost desperate when suddenly, a silver light, getting brighter and brighter...... The dazzling light illuminated the lawn around him...... The screaming has stopped, and the cold feeling is fading...... Something drove those guys back...... It surrounded him with Sirius and Hermione...... The rattling sucks of those guys faded away. They are retreating, and the air is warming up again...... Harry realized that danger was just around the corner, and he fainted as a feeling of weakness hit him......
