Chapter 6 The shouting was like thunder

Paddy reached out and climbed onto the platform of the dog walk, and the fiery red diamond-shaped crystal that Olga had just thrown - a strange bomb called lizard fire by Lulunaka - blasted the gate open with its amazing force, and the roar caused a great shock to Roque's men on the dog walk. This made it easy for Paddin to get rid of the people on the platform.

When he climbed up, there happened to be a man with a bow and arrow, who had just gotten up after being knocked to the ground by the shockwave of the lizard fire. But the poor creature immediately continued to lie on the ground, and never had a chance to wake up. Patin grabbed his head with both hands and spun it almost three hundred and sixty degrees, his face looking stunned, his chest up and his head down.

Patin snatched the bow from his hand and the quiver on his back, and bent his bow and arrows, which were shot at the others on the platform. He drew his bow very quickly, drawing arrows, taking arrows, drawing bows, and so on, without the slightest pause. After Roque and his men were shaken away, there were only six people left on the platform. One of them had his neck broken by Pattin, and the remaining five, two with arrows in their eye sockets, one in their throats, and two in their cheeks, fell to the ground wailing and could not live.

In the blink of an eye, Patin was the only one standing on the platform. He didn't even pull out the knife at his waist, and he disposed of the troubles that occupied the high place. As good as him, the proficiency of the original knight in the use of bows and arrows is also one of the compulsory courses, or in other words, as long as it is something that can be used in battle, he will not be picky.

Patin walked forward, to the platform where Roque had been. It was almost blown to pieces, and it was not easy to find a place to stay, so Patin found a barely intact place to stand. From the heights, he saw the whole place: a narrow strip of land surrounded by the sea on three sides, with a low-lying terrain on one side with a simple little pier with two galleys on the side and a small boat that could only sail on the shore, and on the other side, a little higher, a number of wooden houses were haphazardly built, which were connected in a line to the edge of the dog farm, which seemed to be the living quarters of the people here.

The bombs that Lulunaka had given them were not small, and there was a commotion on the other side of the wooden huts, and people with weapons came out.

Padin drew his bow again, shooting through the man near his nearest cabin. He was attacking people with bows and arrows and obvious projectiles, and he knew exactly what he was doing and who he was responsible for. He wasn't worried that Olga would be troubled by someone of this caliber — not even the self-proclaimed captain Roque — the only thing he needed to worry about was whether Julius, a first-time fighter, would be injured by arrows and projectiles. For a novice, arrows, small axes, and throwing short spears are more dangerous than swords.

After picking up two quivers and putting them on his back, he jumped directly off the platform and landed on the roof of the wooden house. By the time he had just fallen, Olga and Julius had already run out of the smoke and through the broken gate.

"I'll deal with those who attack you from afar!" called out Patin to Olga and Julius below, and then ran up to the edge of the hut, jumped onto the roof of another hut, and continued to draw his bow and shoot arrows.

At this time, there was nothing to say, and Olga continued to rush forward, with Julius trotting after him.

By this time, Roque had reached the middle of the living quarters, and kept yelling around. "The enemy is coming! Pick up your weapons and defend yourself! Get up, you people who drink alcohol during the day!" his roar caused the unreacted people to take up their weapons and walk in the direction of the explosion with a look of surprise on their faces. Although the loud sound was terrifying, they didn't dare to resist Roque's roar. "Take up arms and fight, or you'll die here, fools!"

No one wanted to die, and Roque's words lifted their spirits and rushed in the direction of the huge smoke and dust.

Roque, on the other hand, continued to walk to the rear. He's a warrior, but he's also a businessman, and he never fights battles that he doesn't know if he's not sure about.

So the best option now is to prepare for the worst and act according to the situation. Most of his men were driven to the front, but some of his henchmen stayed behind and followed him. It is always difficult for a person to achieve something, although there are more people and there are many troubles, but it is better than a person who can't do anything. And he couldn't let his men see him retreating alone—it was fatal for a leader.

With more people around him, the first thing his men would think of was not that he was planning to run away - at least not for the time being.

By the time Roque called out to his men, Olga and Julius had already rushed into the front of the living quarters. Even though Roque shouted along the way, there were still people who didn't figure out the situation. But in such a motion, the first thing they do when they see a stranger is definitely to wave their weapons, not to walk up and ask questions.

It was said that the axe at his waist was taken and thrown at Olga, but he was immediately shot through the throat by an arrow from above, and fell to the ground clutching his neck, and died after a while.

The man with a sword and spear in his hand rushed towards Olga. Olga dodged the thrust of the spear with a slight side, grabbed the handle of the gun with one hand, and threw the man with the gun aside, smashing the two men with him. He threw his spear on the ground, his sword as fast as a silver light, leaving a bloody wound in the throats of the enemies who came up to him with their weapons raised and tried to slash at his head.

After the silver flash, the blood turned into a crack, spurting out a large amount of blood. Several people standing in front of Olga fell down with blood spurting from their necks.

Julius, who was following Olga, just holding his sword, watched it happen. He doesn't seem to be needed here, and Olga alone can deal with the steady stream of people who are rushing here. Just listening to the shouts and footsteps, Julius knew that there were definitely a lot of people rushing towards him.

"Don't get distracted, or you'll die!" Olga shouted to Julius behind her.

Julius nodded, clutching the sword in his hand. He can't just look at it and do nothing. He had to do something, or he would look like a liability.

Roque's men gradually gathered and rushed towards Olga's side. Julius watched it all from behind Olga, feeling as if he was once again beneath the cape, facing a steady stream of waves.

But there are some differences. The person whose throat was cut by Olga will never get up again after falling, but in the case of waves, there will always be the next wave that will lap on him.

Amazingly, Julius's nervous mood was actually calmed down for the most part, and the cross-sword he held in his hand did not continue to tremble.

Enemies with evil faces swarmed.
