Chapter 20: Hell Down
Mount Snow, the Oberon Family Annex.
"Sheriff Reka, is there anything else I can do with you?"
The manservant said politely.
Reka grimaced.
"Yes, there are many other things you have to cooperate with me, such as getting my people into your house."
"Sheriff Reka, I've explained it many times, please don't embarrass me."
The manservant frowned slightly, he didn't understand why a person like Reka could swagger into Snow Mountain, could it be that the guards under the mountain were all waste eating dry food.
"I know I can't afford to mess with the people in this house, but there's one thing you need to know,"
Reka decided not to play any more tricks with this difficult manservant, and he simply pulled out his rifle, "If you stop in front of me again, I will kill you in the name of obstructing the case." ”
Seeing that the manservant was suppressed, Reka waved his hand violently, and several sturdy detectives swarmed in, all of them fully armed, and at a glance they knew that the comer was not good.
"Thank you for your cooperation."
Reka removed the muzzle of the gun from the manservant's head, and strode into the courtyard, scanning his eyes left and right with a piercing gaze.
Recca prides himself on being a man who has seen the world, but he is shocked to find that even the most luxurious mansion on Fifth Street is a drop in the bucket compared to this courtyard, and that Mount Snow is worthy of being the place where the top elites of Turin gather.
"You guys go over there and have a look."
Reka commanded two of his men to go to the back garden, while he led the rest of the men towards the mansion.
There is a fish pond at the entrance of the mansion, and a group of beautiful stone sculptures are built in the center of the fish pond, and many swimming fish pass through the gaps in the sculptures.
Behind the fish pond is the main entrance to the building, which is held up by a majestic gatepost and a towering gate with the coat of arms of the Oberen family.
Looking at the door in front of him, to be honest, Reka was a little nervous.
He swallowed, pretending to be relaxed.
"Let's go inside and take a look, remember that this is a big family, and give me a little lighter hands and feet."
The officers nodded, they didn't know Reka's true purpose, they just thought it was a normal search.
The two detectives worked together to pull the door open, and behind it was an incredibly wide corridor with no end in sight.
Reka subconsciously glanced at his feet, his shoes were not stained with mud, and he walked in, and the officers crept behind him.
The crowd walked along the carpet for a while, and they didn't even see a single person, and the hallway was eerily quiet.
To alleviate the strange atmosphere, Reka said with a big grin.
"Follow me to what I do, room by room."
Several police officers answered, and walked in two teams towards the rooms left and right of the hallway.
They gradually felt strange, everyone knew that they had annoyed the nobles and had no good fruit to eat, and today's Sheriff Reka seemed to be particularly unsympathetic.
But they didn't dare to say anything, just symbolically walked into the room and looked at it.
The rooms on either side of the hallway were much larger than expected, and soon, the sound of the detectives' footsteps disappeared from Reka's ears.
Reka is actually an extremely sensitive person, but with his strong appearance, he will deliberately create the illusion of a simple mind, which is the way of life that he has explored for many years in Turin.
Of course, he knew that these nobles did not welcome him, after all, few people wanted detectives to run around their houses.
But to be honest, the house was hostile from start to finish, not ordinary unhappiness, and his intuition told him that the owner of the house was quite difficult.
Reka rolled his eyes, put his hands behind his back, and looked at the murals on the wall all the way forward, like a coarse man entering a museum for the first time.
He soon saw the marble staircase at the end of the carpet, and with a sigh of admiration, he strode up to the second floor.
There was a symbolic knock on the door, and Reka pushed it open.
It was certainly not a good thing for these nobles to kidnap Angelil, and before she came, Reka had made many assumptions, some of which were extremely bad.
But what he didn't expect was that Angelelle was sitting upright in a chair, and a nobleman in a red dress was sitting opposite her.
Hearing the sound of the door being pushed, the two turned their heads in unison.
Ottaman was not surprised by Reka's presence, and he smiled.
"Sheriff Reka, did you find anything?"
Angelyl breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of Reka, but she subconsciously glanced at the floor clock.
It's already half past three in the afternoon, and no matter what, I won't have time to participate in the afternoon competition, which is really good news to celebrate.
"Lord Ottaman."
Reka said politely, "Sorry to disturb you." ”
Ottaman raised an eyebrow.
"I can understand, Sheriff Reka, please take care of yourself."
Seeing that Ottaman didn't mean to talk to him, Reka began to pace down the hall, swearing that even in the most complex crime scenes, his attention was not as nuanced as it was now.
There weren't many things in the hall, he first looked at the floor tiles on the floor, and then the floor-to-ceiling windows not far away, and he even enjoyed the scenery for a while by looking at the gaps in the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The scenery looked very pleasant, but Reka didn't dare to be relaxed for long, he quickly withdrew his gaze and began to scan the relief to the left of the floor-to-ceiling window.
He did look closely, but anyone with a discerning eye knew that the reliefs and floor-to-ceiling windows certainly had nothing to do with the dragon who had fled in Turin.
Raising his hand and looking at his watch, more than half an hour had passed, and he had already delayed enough, but why hadn't Oreo come yet?
Reka glanced into the distance, where Ottaman was talking to Angelil, and Angelyl's brow furrowed, and she could tell that she was also anxious.
After a long hesitation, Reka decided to go to the next room.
He staggered out of the hall and headed towards the room on the left side of the second floor.
Good fellow, there are at least twenty rooms on one side of the corridor, which will have to be searched carefully one by one, not to mention dragging on for an afternoon, even until tomorrow morning.
Sure enough, it's a big family!
Reka grew excited, and he hurried towards the first room, ready to take a nap inside, but stopped before he could take two steps.
He looked down the hallway below, which was empty.
"Hell yes."
He muttered to himself, then raised his voice.
"Eugene? Pedi! ”
No one answered him, and it was as if the men he had brought in had disappeared.
Reka became vigilant, and he walked quickly to the previous hall, just about to push the door hard, but he found that the door was not moving, it must have been locked from the inside.
The valet didn't know where it came from.
"Sheriff Reka, you've just searched this hall. The owner was running errands inside, and he didn't want to be disturbed. ”
"It was searched,"
It makes sense that he shouldn't have searched the duplicate rooms, and Reka stiffened, "But I remember that there are a few places I haven't noticed, and I want to go in and see them again." ”
"Sheriff Reka,"
The manservant frowned, "You shouldn't be here for that dragon, right?" ”
