Chapter 2 Angelyl, Let's Go!

The bright moon was useless, and it rained again in the middle of the night.

Because of the accumulation of a large number of raindrops, the glass rain curtain trembled with the raindrops, like a strange dull concerto.

The factory was empty, the sound of footsteps looming in the rain, and there seemed to be a few ghosts wandering around the factory.

The ghosts stopped at the big lock, looking up and down the new door frame, which looked much stronger than the last.

A ghost asked.

"Which of you will pick the lock?"

The other said in surprise.

"You don't, don't?"

The man from before said in confusion.

"It's not my area of expertise."

"Oh my God!"

As the two argued, a soft and weak voice spoke.

"I can try."

Angelyl stepped out of the shadows, and she pulled out a pink hairpin from her pocket, which looked to be some years old.

Oreo and Tamia followed Angelyl closely, holding their pistols and staring around warily.

Such a place could not have been left unmanned, even if it was really a furniture factory.

With a soft click, Angelil said excitedly.

"It's opened."

"Good."

Oreo pushed the door open, and the three of them walked briskly inside.

Tamia lit an oil lamp and walked slowly along the wall.

After a turn, she said suspiciously.

"Where's the sign you're talking about?"

"It doesn't matter where the sign is, what matters is where the secret room is."

Standing in the middle of the hall, Oreo kept spinning in circles.

After a moment's turn, he commanded.

"Close the door."

Angelyl walked over briskly and closed the door to the storeroom.

Oreo paused, feeling the wind in the room.

There is only one exit to this storehouse, so the wind that pours in through the gate will lead to the secret room.

Tamia looked at the furniture in the storeroom boredly, she wanted to touch the texture of the fine wood, but she was worried about leaving fingerprints.

"Here."

All three of them tensed up at Oreo's voice, and they leaned over to the wall, scanning the stone wall with their eyes.

Tamia stretched out her right hand and slapped the wall hard.

She had expected a thumping sound, but it was a solid sound, indicating that the bricks were not hollow.

"Give me the lamp."

Oreo whispered as he took the gas lamp from Tamya's hand and crouched on the ground, carefully observing the trail of dust.

"Will the switch be on the furniture?"

It's written in old detective novels, and Tamia looks up and every piece of furniture becomes suspicious.

"Rather than believing that there is a switch, I believe that this thing is opened with a key."

Oreo dismissed her directly, "We've got to find the keyhole." ”

Angelyl answered, wrapping her handkerchief around her right hand and touching the stone bricks piece by piece.

After a long search, the three people who found nothing gathered together, and the atmosphere became solemn.

Oreo said in a deep voice.

"The wind flowed underneath this wall, but I couldn't break it."

Tamia rolled her eyes.

"I think we can use explosives."

Oreo shook his head.

"Sergeant Tamia, trespassing and vandalism are two different things."

Tamia asked rhetorically.

"Detective Oreo, what do you think?"

"I have three ideas."

Oreo held out three fingers and said slowly.

"First, we find evidence that this factory produces poppy fruits, and then we get a search warrant, after which we can smash or blow it up openly."

Tamia rolled her eyes.

"But it doesn't work, does it?"

Oreo nodded.

"Even if evidence is found, the gang has a hundred ways to deny us a search warrant, so I'll have to take some time to visit Viscount Borg, who should know how to open the chamber."

Tamia continued.

"He's definitely not going to cooperate with you, so let's say the third way."

"I'll let him work with me, but we can try the third method first......"

Oreo was about to say something, but Angelyl said suddenly.

"I've found the keyhole!"

The two quickly stood up, one left and one right, crouching beside Angelyl.

The keyhole is behind a stone brick, and it is not known how Angelil found it. 、

Watching Angelyl take out the hairpin, Oreo shook his head.

"It's not a lock that can be unlocked by a card issuance."

Angelyl put down the hairpin and lay down on the ground, looking at the lock cylinder in the dim light.

Rising from the ground, Angelyl reached out and gestured.

"This key has to be the size of a palm."

"Stupid design."

Oreo grumbled, reaching out and touching the keyhole.

Judging by his movements, Tamia roughly guessed the size of the key, and she said quickly.

"If you carry a key of this size, that person must be very conspicuous. As long as we can find the person, we will find the key. ”

"That's right."

Oreo patted the dust off his hands, "Then this matter will be left to Tamia and Sheriff Reka, and Angelyl and I will be in charge of torturing Viscount Borg." ”

Angelyl answered, shoving the brick back into place.

Just as the two of them were about to get up and leave, Tamia said coldly.

"Lord Oreo, is this your plan?"

Oreo turned his head and said in confusion.

"What are you talking about, Tamia?"

Tamia said word for word.

"You left me out of the plan."

It took a while for Oreo to understand what Tamia meant.

He glanced at Angelyl and said.

"Okay, Angeliel is in a group with Reka, you are in a group with me, is that okay?"

Angelyl clearly wanted to say something, but eventually nodded.

"I'm fine."

Seeing this, Tamia didn't want to say anything more.

She pursed her lips and walked out of the storeroom first.

While Angelil locked the door, Oreo whispered.

"Tamia, you've got to do me a favor."

I don't know why lately, I feel annoyed when I see this lewd detective, and Tamia said angrily.

"Something to say."

Oreo said with a smile.

"It's too late today, can you bring Angelil to you......"

Tamia said with a scoff.

"I think she'd prefer to go to your office."

"If I do, I'll be torn to shreds by her mother."

Oreo shook his head, "Just one night, do me a favor, please." ”

Being begged by Oreo didn't feel as good as she thought, and Tamia turned around and glanced at Angelyl before saying.

"Can't she go back to her house?"

Oreo spread his hands.

"I've been delayed too much time today, and I can't explain it when I go home so late, which is why I asked you."

Listening to the discussion between the two, Angelyl didn't say anything, and she stood quietly beside Tamia.

Looking at her like this, somehow, Tamia was actually a little distressed.

She pursed her lips and held out her right hand to Oreo.

"Angelyl's clothes are wet, I'll take her tomorrow to buy new clothes, you have to pay for it."

This was the first time someone had asked for money from Oreo, and his face suddenly turned bitter.

Angelil said hurriedly.

"I have money myself."

Tamia shook her head, resolute.

"No, he has to pay for it."

Oreo blinked slowly, looking dejected.

Like a zombie, he took out the money bag from his back, counted out five gold coins from it, and took back two more gold coins.

He stared at the three gold coins in his hand, as if he was looking at his own flesh and blood, with a reluctant look on his face.

"Bring it to you!"

Tamia snatched three gold coins and said loudly.

"Angelyl, let's go."
