Chapter 11: My Days in Hoi An 3

Hoi An is a town that is especially suitable for a leisurely life here, and I really like everything here, so I will stay here for a few more days, and I will put it aside for a while, but I will never do it again, and I will have a shadow, haha.

One night, I went to the bar alone to drink a little wine, in fact, don't say that I wasted, I didn't spend much, I just wanted to see how the live band in that small bar was, so I went over to drink some small beer, and stayed at the bar for about two hours, I felt that the level of the band was really average, so I decided to go back to the residence.

When I arrived at the residence immediately, I heard the sound of the guitar and the electronic organ very clearly, because I was a musician, and my ears were more sensitive, and I could tell that this was not the music that was playing, this was a real live performance, and the level was quite good, so I followed the sound and groped the black path down, and finally saw a small two-story courtyard, in which sat a few young men and a little girl who were a little younger than me, and they were playing in the ensemble. Because it was quite late, the gate of the yard was locked, I was a foreigner, and I was embarrassed to let the door open, so I stopped at the door to look at it for a while, and then one of the brothers, saw me standing outside the door, and said a sentence to me in Vietnamese with disdain, I don't understand it, but from his eyes and speaking momentum, I should ask me what will happen, of course, this is my guess, and then I said in English that I am a guitarist, haha, pretending to be forced.

Those guys don't seem to know English yet, just a buddy who knows English very well, I saw him translate with the brothers in Vietnamese, and then asked me which country I am, and I replied Chinese.

He asked me again if I wanted to come in and play together, and I quickly said okay, thank you, and the other little brother got up and walked to the door and opened the door for me.

When I entered the courtyard, I took off my shoes like them, walked barefoot around them, and sat on the floor together.

I'm a person, I'm a little bit awesome, I'm thick-skinned, I don't know how to train it, you say I don't know them either, and they're all young men, and they don't understand the language, so they dare to work there, haha.

When I sat there, they stared at me like animals, and then they spoke in Vietnamese and I didn't know what they were talking about, rubbing, embarrassing, so I took out my cigarette, which is a fetish of international exchange.

What I took out was a Yuxi cigarette, which I brought from China, and it was not sold in Vietnamese stores, so I gave them one and they all smoked.

After I lit it, I saw that they tasted it well, and then they all looked at me with surprised eyes, and it was a crackling Vietnamese, how could I understand, so I had to scratch my head, and then the buddy who knew English hurriedly translated their meaning to me, which probably meant what kind of cigarette this was, too fragrant!

In addition to China, foreign tobacco are mixed cigarettes, only China has flue-cured tobacco flavor, that has not smoked this, of course, will feel very good smoke, and asked me how much is a pack of cigarettes, I totaled, equivalent to VND and told them, they were particularly surprised, how could there be such expensive cigarettes!

Because in Vietnam, local cigarettes are super cheap, the most expensive local cigarettes I have encountered are only seven yuan, usually three or four yuan a pack, in their place, the most expensive cigarette is the international brand Marlboro, the most expensive is only thirteen yuan, like the classic red and white Marlboro in their eight yuan, in China doubled.

Because I had that bag of Yuxi on my body at the time, I saw that they all liked it very much, so I gave it to them, they saw me so bright, one of the brothers proposed to drink some together, and then asked another buddy to buy supper and beer, I didn't understand what they communicated, I only saw a buddy riding a motorcycle and left, and then the buddy who spoke good English told me to tell the buddy to buy something, let me not go, drink some together, about ten minutes, and came back, the motorcycle felt like it was going to fly into the yard, it was really fast!

I have to admire the Vietnamese riding skills. Put the food and wine between us, go for a glass first, I took the initiative to toast everyone, and then the next thing is to pretend to be show time, I also played the electronic piano, also played the guitar, and improvised a short game with them.

This is good, everyone admires me more, haha they praise me very good, in fact, here I want to explain why I say I am good, to be honest, I am not good, but after all, I am not a country, my country's music style and Vietnamese music style he is different, they are used to listening to their own music style, when they listen to my Chinese style, it is particularly fresh so I think it is very good, haha, in fact, the level is average, haha.

In this way, we drank and talked until the early hours of the morning, during which we exchanged social, political, humanistic and so on of the two countries, in a word: they are all bragging!

In this way, I lived happily in Hoi An for many days, and I have long forgotten the unhappiness in the country for the time being, but this is temporary after all, I know that I can't always be chic with my own money, but this is a small old town, I have nothing to do except enjoy leisure time and drink drip coffee, so keep walking, I decided to leave Hoi An.
