The world is inexhaustible, and it is cheap to endure him.

The world will not forget it, who knows who is waiting for the floating,

Make a living for a thousand years, and justice should be a death;

The sunset in the west is difficult to handle, and the water flows in the east and never turns back.

This poem is Tang Bohu's cautionary poem, and he is well versed in Taoism.

The Northern and Southern Sects refer to the Southern and Northern Sects of Taoism.

Quanzhen Dao was founded in Chongyang, the king of gold, and spread in the north; Zhang Bo of the Northern Song Dynasty wrote "Enlightenment Chapter", which was also practiced and cultivated, and spread in the south.

In terms of cultivation, the Northern Sect advocates life before life, and the Southern Sect advocates life before sex. Yuan Chen Zhixu was also passed on by Zhang and Wang, and all belonged to the Quanzhen Dao, tracing Zhang Chuan as the Southern Sect and Wang Chuan as the Northern Sect. Both factions rely on Donghua Shaoyang Jun (Wang Xuanfu) and Zhong Liquan as the two patriarchs.

The thought of the Southern Sect is divided into two bodies, the first stage is Zhang Boduan. In the second stage, Shi Tai, Bai Yu Toad, etc., but if you don't count the controversial content of the preface and other parts of the "Wuzhen Chapter", the thought of Jindan Nanzong is really one and very unified.

The Southern Sect was passed down by Zhang Boduan during the reign of Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty (1068-1077), who in turn received it from Chen Tuan and Liu Haichan.

The Southern Sect founded by Zhang Boduan advocated the restoration and development of Laozhuang.

That is, starting from the traditional Inner Dan life technique, step by step, taking the three products of medicine in the human body, namely the three treasures of essence, qi and god as medicine, through building the foundation, refining and refining the Qi, refining the Qi and turning the gods, refining the gods and returning the void to the "golden pill". His main masterpiece "Wuzhen Chapter" is dedicated to Neidan, and is known as the king of the Danjing as well as "Zhou Yi Shen Tong Deed".

He said in the "Enlightenment of Truth": "There are more than 300 treasure characters in the Yin Fu, 5,000 spiritual texts in the "Morality", and there are infinite numbers of immortals in ancient times, all of which are here to achieve the true interpretation."

It is believed that the Yellow Emperor's "Yin Fu Jing" and Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching" are the ancestors of Dan Dao.

Fourth, Zhang Boduan, who advocated the cultivation of Jindan Taoism, basically summarized and completed the theory and method of refining and cultivating the Inner Dan, so the "Wuzhen Chapter" and the "Participation Deed" were both respected as the "ancestor of the Dan Sutra" of Taoism, and Zhang Boduan was respected as the ancestor of the Danfa Southern Sect of the Taoist Qing Cultivation School.

An important sect of Taoist Neidanology. Founded in the Northern Song Dynasty Zhang Borui, spread in the vast areas of the south. This sect is known for its "life before sex" cultivation method. Most of its representatives are from the south, so it is called Nanzong, also known as Ziyang School.

This distinction between the northern and southern sects is in terms of the cultivation of the Inner Dan during the Song and Yuan dynasties. Ming Song Lian's "Sending Xu Congshan to Learn the Tao and Return to Southern Fujian" said: Since the Song and Jin Dynasties, the speaker has been blazing, and the north and south are divided into two sects: the southern sect is Tiantai Zhang Yongcheng, and the north is Xianyang Wang Zhongfu.

And because Zhang Boduan thought that the Jin Dan of Zong Cheng Han Wei Wei Boyang said, Yuan Yuan Jue's "Wild Moon Views" said: "There are two theories of health preservation: Wei Boyang, the northern ancestor Quanzhen, and the southeast division."

The establishment of the Southern Sect was later than that of the Northern Sect, and its actual founder should be the white jade toad of the Ningzong era of the Southern Song Dynasty.

However, in order to compete with the Northern Sect, Bai Yuchan's disciples Chen Shoumo and Zhan Jirui proposed a teaching system based on some legends in the "Preface to Haiqiong's Preaching Collection": the former Zhongli Yunfang (Zhong Liquan) used this to pass on Lu Dongbin, Lu Chuanliu Haichan, Liu Chuanzhi Zhang Pingshu (Zhang Boduan), Zhang Chuanzhi Shi Tai, Shi Chuanzhi Daoguang Monk (Xue Shi), Daoguang Chuan Chen Niwan (Chen Nan), Chen Chuanzhi Bai Yuchan, and then my teacher.

In this way, the history of the Southern Sect is much earlier than that of the Northern Sect; Even if it is counted from Zhang Boduan, it is about a hundred years earlier than Beizong, and of course the qualifications are even older.

Bai Yuchan is the fifth generation of the Southern Sect, that is, the fifth of the "Southern Five Ancestors". Since him, the "Southern Sect" has officially established the Naidan Sect Southern Sect Taoist Society.

After ascending, he was named "Ziqing Ming Dao Zhenren", and was known as "Mr. Ziqing". Its philosophy introduces Confucianism into Taoism, and combines Dan, Dharma, Taoism and Confucianism.
