The nunnery and the Baolian Courtyard on Yuewang Mountain are a series, and the incense is very prosperous before liberation, and it is famous far and wide. A small nunnery was crowded and packed to accommodate ten families, including forty or fifty children.

In that special era, it was advocated that "everyone gathers firewood and the flame is high", and the strength of the number of people is great, and more children are encouraged, and there are no birth control measures in the countryside, so each family has five or six children, and the births are quite dense, generally one or two years apart.

By the end of this special era, the country began to implement family planning, resulting in a unique peak in the number of births, and the number of people born in that era may not be surpassed, and the peers of the seventies are a lot of people everywhere.

The nunnery is a square building, typical Ming and Qing dynasty style, sit in the north and face south, is the main building in front, there are wings and niches in the back, build according to the topography, divide into three levels, the main building part is the lowest, the middle niche room and the main hall are secondary, the Buddha statue platform behind the main hall and the niche room on both sides are the highest.

The main building, the niche, the main hall and the patio are integrated, and the wing rooms are relatively independent. The exterior wall of the niche is heightened and level with the main building, and the top of the wall is undulating in the shape of a dragon, adding a heavy appearance**.

Behind the main building is the square patio, behind the patio is the main hall, two niches are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the main hall, a corridor separates the niche from the patio, leads to the side door to the east, isolates the two niches in front of the front and back, and connects the north-south corridor in front of the west wing to the west.

A wooden staircase is attached to the outer wall of the niche on the south side of the east side, above the patio, which connects to the corridor of the main hall below, and is connected to a stage with four pillars, a wooden floor below, surrounded by a wooden balustrade, painted crimson red.

The south side of the west wing is level with the patio, and the north-south corridor connects the front and rear courtyard walls, each with a small door to enter and exit, forming an enclosed courtyard. In front of the corridor there is a drainage ditch connected to the patio, separating the wing room from the niche room.

The Buddha statue platform at the rear, later isolated with yellow ramming, used as everyone's kitchen, there is a closed passage in front of the niche on both sides, because the terrain is getting higher, the niche on the left and right of the main hall, there are several steps in front of the door.

The long granite stones, one by one paved the corridor and the hall ground, smooth and solid, the patio and the ditch are also made of granite, one has been walking for a long time, the other has been soaked in rain for many years, divided into two different colors, the corridor and the ground are silvery white and shiny, and the ditch is introverted and dull yellow.

Ten families, generally one family, really can't live in, the last few to come, in the main hall with bamboo fence or wooden planks, isolated a few rooms, for accommodation. Later, a family came, single and lived on the stage.

The structure is compact, staggered, and there are ten families living in it, and it seems that it is not too crowded in the impression, and the corners and corners have left the figures of the little friends playing, and the carefree and innocent laughter is always fluttering and echoing in it.

In the middle of playing, the little sister who had just learned to walk waddled had accidentally fallen from the stage and fell on the patio granite, and was in shock for a long time.

It is said that there were nuns in the nun eunuch before liberation, and they were dismissed after liberation. When the comprehensive team was established, the Bodhisattva was still intact, and later carried out the "Four Olds" movement, which was identified as a feudal remnant of the old society, and all of them were destroyed in one fell swoop.

The nunnery has two stone paths leading down the hill and a steep and winding gate to the south that connects to the main building, through the bamboo forest. On the east side, there is a small door connecting the east niche house, which is relatively flat along the hillside according to the bamboo forest and shrubs.

The steep straight is different, I don't know what age it was built, I don't know how many pilgrims have walked through, and the stone slabs have been polished to shine. The one on the south side is sheltered by a bamboo forest, and the humidity is heavy, and it is dyed dark black, and moss often grows, and the east side is golden in the scorching sun.

When I was able to climb on the ground, the stone path shaded by the bamboo forest began to leave my crawling figure.

According to my parents, whenever they went out to work, I would take advantage of this stone road to climb down alone and sit on the threshold of the collective warehouse on the side of the road. The people in the mountains call my grandfather "Grandpa" and my grandmother "Grandma", who has just learned to pronounce and often "Grandpa Grandma" to herself.

There is also a dirt road in the back mountain, carved out of the bushes, leading to a spring at the bottom of the mountain, where every day the villagers will fetch water to boil for cooking. There is no stone slab, it is relatively flat around the mountain, and it is slippery in rainy days, but no matter how slippery it is, it also needs water, so people who carry water often fall and are miserable.

This spring water, under a huge granite, next to overlap several large bluestone, the bluestone is uneven, quite clean, even the stone Fengzhong does not have a trace of soil, people will often wash to keep the well hygienic, the bluestone is therefore dug into dark brown, reflecting the spring water is particularly clear.

The huge granite stone stands at the foot of the mountain, forming a stone cliff with thick moss, revealing the age of this spring. I don't know how many people it has watered and how many generations it has nurtured.

The spring water is nearly two meters deep, about one meter wide and more than two meters long, and one or two fish can often be seen in the stone crevices at the bottom.

There is a bluestone protrusion near the water surface, no matter whether the well water is only full in winter and summer, it will not be more or less. The bulge is just the foot, step on the stepping stone when drawing water, the bucket is filled with water and lifted, and then change one foot, fill the other bucket and lift it, and you can pick it up without falling off the shoulder.

The spring water is not enough for the whole village, so you have to get up early to fetch water, and in the evening, you have to walk more to the nearby river to fetch water. The river is a collection of spring water flowing down from the mountains, and it is clean and clear, and can be used as drinking water.

In the scorching heat of midsummer, working in the fields, the mountain people enjoy the shade of the trees by the river, and generally drink the river water in the stream directly, without a trace of temperature, which is particularly cool. After late autumn, the weather is cold, but you can feel a little warm in the water, and fog can rise above the water.

At the foot of the mountain, there is an east-west road that crosses it, and the road surface is smooth and paved with sand and gravel, which is particularly solid, and it is easy to walk regardless of rain or shine.
