Volume 2 The Ancient Kingdom of the White Wolf Chapter 30 Hidden Treasure
When we stood on top of the snow-capped mountain again, looking at the beautiful dam under the mountain, we felt an indescribable sadness, and we didn't know if there would be anyone here again in the future.
The Mani pile next to it, I now start to think that it may be a sign set up by my uncle.
Looking down from the snowy mountain, I suddenly felt a little strange, how does this look like a pit smashed out of something?
I told Tuesday Mao about this idea, and Tuesday Mao didn't believe it, so I picked up a stone on the ground and threw it into the snow.
At this time, the snow had reached the knee-length of the person, and as soon as the stone was dropped, it sank into the snow, revealing a circular hole in the snow.
I said, "What if this is a giant meteor stone?" Will there be such a large crater in the mountains? ”
Tuesday Mao glared and said, "How big is a meteor stone to smash out?" ”
I said: "My brother came back that year and said something, it seems to be more than ten years of Guangxu, the United States found a circular huge pit, the bottom of the pit is larger than several stockades combined.
At first, the Americans called the pit the Devil's Pit, thinking that it was where the devil lived in the past, and later their school organized a scientific expedition, and it is said that it was a deep crater formed by meteorites falling on the earth outside the sky! Later, when my brother went to the United States, he and my sister-in-law went there to see it. ”
Tuesday Mao picked up the binoculars and looked at the dam at the bottom of the mountain, and said: "According to what you say, you don't say that it is really possible, otherwise why is it so round?" I grew up in the mountains, and I have never seen such a round deep pit. ”
Walking out of the snow-capped mountains, we rested for the night by the sea, which is the most beautiful place after coming to Tibet.
And then this time it went through the Grand Canyon without a hitch.
We played all the way on the grassland, and it was during the period when the Tibetans were playing the dam, and there were Tibetans dressed in festive costumes everywhere along the way.
On this day, Tibetans in Kham District make appointments with relatives and friends, bring tents and mats, and choose a meadow full of Gesang flowers.
Put butter tea, barley wine, and some hand-grabbed beef, boiled potatoes in beef soup, and blood sausage.
Tibetans are bold and enthusiastic by nature, and when they are slightly drunk, men and women push glasses and raise lamps, drink wine in large bowls, and eat meat.
After three rounds of wine, five flavors of meat, and then come to the pot village, men, women and children sing and dance,
Those of us who are traveling on the grasslands are often invited to the Tibetan tents to drink and eat meat, and these days Mao and I have improved our Tibetan language and alcohol by leaps and bounds.
By the time we returned to Ganzi County, it was already half a month later, and we were about to go down the plateau, and I had been thinking about visiting Guru Gonqu Tenzin and returning the beads to him.
When we arrived at the Rising Sun Monastery, it was the third day after Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin returned from the Balqud Monastery in Nyingchi.
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin was very pleased to hear that we were coming, and we walked through the winding corridor and led us into a spacious room, where we sat cross-legged on a high platform of fine mattresses, and in front of us a pot of butter tea was simmered in a large copper kettle with lace.
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin asked me about the things in the snowy mountains, and I told him the words I had thought of a long time ago, and praised the wolf spirit in the snow valley.
Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin looked quite happy, and this was obviously more to celebrate than offering him a hundred hadas.
I solemnly returned the beads to Khenshi Kunqu Tenzin and said, "Rinpoche, I have returned this bead to its original owner, and may your Dharma always shine in Tibet." ”
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin took the beads with a smile and said, "You young man, it's not simple. ”
I hurriedly waved my hand and said, "You have been blessing me!" ”
I suddenly remembered something and said, "Rinpoche, I have one more thing I would like to ask you about." ”
Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin asked, "What is it?" ”
So I told us how we had found the secret of Bon in the middle of a large canyon and a sea with a small island in the middle.
Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin was immediately intrigued, and I hurriedly took out the gold box and handed it to him.
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin took the golden box, and his face, which was still smiling, instantly froze.
Everyone in the house had already noticed the strangeness of Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin.
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin was holding the beads in his hand, and he saw that the beads began to glow red again!
It turned out that we were in that room, and the flash of the Buddha beads was not because of the Tibetan horse bear, but because we met these Bon weapons!
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin picked up the human head drum and rubbed it carefully, his face extremely solemn.
When he saw that there were still a few kraft books written in Tibetan in the box, Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin took it out, turned to the first page, and immediately closed it.
Khenpo Kuncho Tenzin told the lamas who were waiting for him to stand down and then said to me, "Mr. Chen, let's talk in a different place. ”
I was stunned for a moment, and I also felt that this matter seemed to be a little serious. also instructed Tuesday Mao and the others to go back to the pot village first.
On Tuesday, Mao originally had four conch and beads in his hand and wanted to find Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin for an estimate, but now seeing that he was so cautious, he didn't dare to take them out.
Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin led me around the front yard to a small house in the backyard, which was strangely empty, with two large Tibetan mastiffs, one black and one white, tied to the door.
The Tibetan mastiff looked extremely fierce, but when we saw that Khenpo Goncho Tenzin was very docile, we entered the small house and found that it was a sunken stone chamber.
The stone chamber is surrounded by various ritual vessels and huge masks. Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin walked into the stone chamber and stepped on a corner with his foot, and a stone door opened.
I was secretly surprised that there was something else here.
I don't know why he is so cautious.
Enter the back room, which houses various books and some golden statues of Tibetan Buddhism.
We sat down, and Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin reopened the box and looked at the book carefully.
He saw quickly and slowly, some places didn't turn over for a long time, and some places were ten lines at a glance, completely forgetting that there was still me next to him.
After some time, I sat next to me, bored and playing with a Buddha statue for a long time.
I just think it's strange that this Buddha statue is a little strange, this Buddha sits cross-legged, the right leg is bent in the right leg, the bend is smaller, a woman faces the Buddha, her legs are spread, her plump buttocks sit on the Buddha's left leg, her arms are embraced, her chest is tightly together, her naked body is entangled, I see that I am also red-faced, and I hurriedly put this thing back in place.
After waiting for a long time, Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin finally finished reading the first two parts, raised his head and muttered, "Interesting, interesting, it turns out that they think so." ”
I didn't know what was interesting, so I looked blankly at Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin.
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin remembered that I was still beside him, and said with a smile: "When I see some classics from other sects, I don't want to snub Mr. Chen and offend him." ”
I hurriedly said, "It's okay, it's not in the way, seeing that Rinpoche is attentive, the juniors don't dare to disturb." ”
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin smiled, "I always thought you were a lucky person, but I didn't expect you to have such a chance. ”
I wondered, "Is this thing useful?" ”
Khenshi Kunqu Tenzin said, "Do you remember the last time we talked about the dispute between Buddha and Bon in the Pavilion of the Scriptures? ”
I said, "Of course I do." ”
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin said, "This sutra must begin at that time... ”
I was not surprised when I took out the book that day, and said, "When I took out the book, I thought that it was quietly buried by the Bon at that time. ”
Khenpo Kuncho Tenzin asked, "How do you know that this is a Bon hiding?" ”
I said, "What's hidden?" ”
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin sighed and said, "Hiding is a very important way to hide scriptures. It is the scriptures that Bon and our Tibetan Buddhists temporarily hid when our religion was in calamity and can be re-excavated in the future, and the most common ones are the collections of books, holy relics, and knowledge. ”
That's when I realized that this thing was originally called Fuzang.
Khenpo Kunqu Tenzin continued, "After Guru Padmasambhava gave the initiations and teachings to his disciples, he handed over the various empowerments, practices, and rituals to different disciples, and specially instructed different Dharma protectors to protect these hidden treasures.
Guru Padmasambhava also instructed him to take out these methods when they are needed in the future.
It is by relying on this special cause that the Tibetan secret will not be broken. ”
I said, "Then Rinpoche, do you mean that the Bon religion doesn't want these things now?" It's been hundreds of thousands of years, and no one has come to pick it up. ”
Khen Kunqu Tenzin said: "It's not that they don't want to take it, but the primitive Bon, as the opponent of our Buddhism, was dealt a fatal blow in the dispute between Buddha and Bon.
This failure has created a favorable space for Buddhism to spread and take root in Tibetan areas.
Buddhism quickly occupied Tibet and gained dominance through the support of the Tibetan royal family and its own advantages and adaptability.
This led to the loss of a large number of Bon followers and the exodus of mantra masters, and then Bon remained in this situation for a long time, for the sake of their own survival.
On the one hand, it actively moves closer to Buddhism and caters to the mentality of the upper class.
On the other hand, he borrowed some of the theories and worship rituals of our Buddhism to fully improve and develop himself.
Gradually, many of the things that used to be Bon were lost, and Buddhism and Bon also became "You have me, I have you". ”
I said, "That is to say, the current Bon is no longer the original Bon. ”
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin nodded, pointed to the vellum, and said, "So these hidden treasures have been lost. ”
I said, "What about these books?" ”
Khenpo Gonzhu Tenzin slowly looked up at me and said, "This book must never appear in the world again. Do you understand what I mean? ”
I also roughly guessed the meaning of Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin, the original Bon religion is the opposite of Buddhism, if this book reappears in Tibet, there must be some people with other plans who will use this book to make a big fuss, if the situation is not well controlled, it is inevitable that there will be a large-scale Buddha Bon controversy hundreds of years ago, leading to unpredictable consequences.
I nodded and said, "Everything is up to the Guru." ”
Khenpo Gonqu Tenzin nodded and said with a smile, "I will definitely not let Mr. Chen, you suffer." ”
