CHAPTER XIV
There was a "bang", and a chair stacked above the door of the stairwell was pushed to the ground by the zombies.
Terrifying faces with teeth and claws could be seen through the cracks, as if they couldn't hold back their desire to rush in and tear Henry and Ashley apart.
Henry saw that the zombies were about to rush in, and he didn't care about the other three steps and quickly ran to the door.
Pick up the chair that fell on the ground and put it back again, and do everything in your power to stop the zombies.
Ashley also came to Henry's side to help him stop them.
Ashley felt that this was not the way to go, so he took a step back and drew his gun and shot at the zombies outside the door through the crack.
Henry felt that her was useless and persuaded her to stop shooting.
But at this time, Ashley didn't seem to listen to anything, and continued to shoot. It wasn't until all the bullets ran out that she reluctantly put down the gun.
Suddenly, Ashley seemed to think of something, she quickly turned around and picked up a chair and slammed it against the window.
A large hole was smashed into the window, and Ashley rushed over to break off the remaining glass chips.
The window was barely enough for a person to get out of, and Ashley poked his head out of the hole. The downstairs is surrounded by zombies, which is another dead end.
"Come here!"
Ashley yelled at Henry.
"You can't survive by jumping from the window?!"
Henry disagrees with Ashley's proposal.
"Then do you want to feed the zombies here?!"
Ashley saw that Henry was about to lose his hand, so he continued to shout anxiously.
Henry turned his head to look at the zombies outside the door, and he knew very well that sooner or later this place would be broken through by zombies. Ashley was right, staying here would only feed the zombies.
Henry let go of his hands, leaving the crumbling obstacles.
Without Henry's block, the zombies seemed to be even crazier, and their impact was even stronger. His eyes were fixed on the zombies outside the door, and he walked backwards step by step. Henry took his pistol out of his holster and prepared to shoot.
But he seemed to think of something, and found a ** from one of the pockets of his military jacket...
Just when Henry and Ashley are in a desperate situation, they don't know where to drive a double-decker bus.
I saw it rampage all the way, knocking many zombies along the way. In one go, they drove to the downstairs of the building where they were trapped, unable to move forward because there were too many zombies.
The windows were lowered, and a head poked out of it.
It was a young man who anxiously beckoned to Ashley and told her to jump off.
As if grasping at a life-saving straw, Ashley beckoned to the man as well, and turned back to beckon Henry to come and jump with her.
At this time, the zombies also knocked down all the obstacles and crawled into the room.
Henry saw the opportunity, unplugged the safety ring on the **, and threw it towards the soles of the zombies' feet. Then he jerked around and ran to Ashley, jumping off with her in his arms.
With a loud explosion, Henry and Ashley also jumped on the roof of the bus.
Although neither of them was injured by this, the impact of the jump still made them feel like their bones were about to break.
The man in the car sensed that they had jumped on the roof, so he shouted and grabbed it, and then started the bus to reverse the rear.
Before Henry and Ashley could stabilize themselves on the roof, the bus started. The car's sudden start almost caused Ashley to fall, but Henry caught her just in time.
The bus has already left, but there are still many zombies gathered around the bus, and some are even about to get on the bus. Henry's eyes were quick, and he took out his gun and shot it, killing the zombies.
After a period of driving, the three of them were finally out of danger, and the number of zombies around them was not so much.
The bus finally stopped in a silent parking lot, and there were almost no zombies in the parking lot.
The man driving the car turned off the engine and got out of the car after making sure there was no danger around. He patted the car and said to Henry and Ashley on the roof that it was time to get out of the car.
Henry and Ashley jumped out of the car, observed their surroundings, and made sure there were no zombies before slowly calming down.
"Thank you for saving us! My name is Henry and her name is Ashley. β
It was only then that Henry saw his savior.
It was a young man with a hat, and Henry hurriedly thanked him and introduced himself and Ashley.
Ashley also nodded at the man at this time, and said thank you lightly.
"Oh, nothing. I also happened to go out to search for supplies, and I stumbled upon you being trapped, so I helped you. β
The young man was a little shy, and he didn't look at Henry and Ashley as he spoke.
"Oh, thank you anyway. Oh, by the way, what's your name? β
Henry asked politely.
"I... My name is Zack... This is not the place to talk, let's go back to where we are hiding. β
Zach didn't know if it was because he was nervous, and he stuttered a little.
"Oh, okay. Is your hiding place far from here? How many of you are there? β
Henry sensed that Zach was a little nervous, so he took the initiative to find a topic.
"You'll know when you get there..."
Zach didn't seem to be very willing to talk much.
Henry was bored with himself, so he and Ashley could only follow Zach.
The twists and turns along the way almost made Henry dizzy.
But fortunately, there were not a large number of zombies, only sporadic zombies blocking the way, but they were all eliminated with a hammer by Zack, who was leading the way.
Henry didn't expect that such an introverted young man who didn't like to talk would do things very neatly, even in the face of zombies, he didn't have the slightest fear. Unknowingly, Henry develops a crush on Zach.
Zach led Henry and the others to a small door and knocked on it.
It's an old-looking building, and I don't know what it's used for.
After a while, a small door in the door opened.
A pair of eyes were revealed, and he glanced at the three Zacks. Then the little door closed again, and the door was opened.
Instead of going in first, Zach let Henry and Ashley in, and he was the last one to enter.
As soon as they entered, several guns were pointed at Henry and Ashley's heads, including daggers and other weapons.
Henry and Ashley could only raise their hands to show that they had no ill intentions.
At that moment, a man pushed aside the crowd and walked in front of Henry.
"My name is Andrey, and here I have the final say. Who are you? β
The man across from Henry, who identified himself as Andre, looked at Henry and spoke.
"My name is Henry, and I'm a lieutenant in the Sea Blue Army. Her name is Ashley, and she is one of the survivors I saved. β
Henry looked at Andre and felt that the other party was not a strange person, so he revealed his identity.
Andrei is a middle-aged man with glasses, wearing a shirt and trousers in a tie. The top of his head is a little bald, he has a beard, and he looks fierce, but there is no fierceness in his eyes.
When he heard that Henry was a soldier, his face suddenly appeared with joy.
The people standing behind him were all more or less happy, and some of them had already begun to whisper.
"I'm a college professor and these are my students. You're here to save us, aren't you? β
Andre's attitude changed one hundred and eighty degrees, and he said to Henry with a smile, and even stretched out his hand to shake Henry's hand.
"I..."
Henry was so confused by AndrΓ© that he didn't know how to answer for a while.
