Some rare three-phase switches, such as component switches, are available in automatic, off, and high-flow positions. For example, the isolation valve has three positions: open, closed, and automatic.

One or two electric valves are in the middle position when taking off, that is, the automatic position of the component electric valve and the automatic position of the isolation valve.

Rarely, there are APU bleed valves and APU valves, which are in the closed position after the engine has been started.

Because the power supply and charge air required for engine starting, the APU is normally provided. Once the engine is started, it can be powered by the engine's generator, as well as the engine bleed air.

The pre-coasting procedure after the engine has been started consists of two steps: closing the APU bleed air and the APU valve.
