Chapter 256: The Secret Tunnel
"We need β fluorescent flickering. Alan said softly.
Daisy touched the cold, damp stone wall, and then she turned to Alan. "You mean we're going into the tunnel?" she asked.
Daisy thinks she's asking a stupid question, and of course she has to go into the tunnel. What would you do if you discovered a secret tunnel?
You're not going to stand at the entrance and figure it out, you're going to go in and see what it's all about.
"Where does this tunnel lead?" asked Daisy, frowning thoughtfully, "maybe it leads to the house next door, maybe it connects the two houses together." β
"There's no house on the other side of the door," Alan reminded her, "it's an open space, I've seen it." β
"Oh, but it must lead somewhere," she replied, "a tunnel, it can't go anywhere." β
"Really well thought out. Alan replied nonchalantly, his attention all on the tunnel.
Daisy looked at Alan suspiciously, always feeling that he was sarcastic about herself.
The wand in Allen's hand shone on the stone wall, which was covered with a layer of moss.
On the smooth stone floor, there were small puddles of water that glistened in the glow of the wand's fluorescent light.
"It's damp inside. Alan muttered.
He took a step into the tunnel, shining his wand against the stone wall, and Daisy followed.
The air suddenly became much colder, and Daisy shivered, startled by the sudden change in temperature.
"yes," Daisy agreed, "it's like a freezer." β
Alan raised his wand and pointed straight ahead.
"I can't see the end of the tunnel," he said, "and it could be many, many miles long!"
"Hey!" Daisy cried, her voice echoing into many, "Is there inβanyoneβ" she asked aloud.
"Oh, Daisy, be serious. "Alan really wants to stroke his forehead and sigh, isn't this a scare snake!
Alan lowered his wand and let it follow the path beneath his feet.
They walked slowly, carefully navigating the puddles, getting deeper and deeper into the tunnels, and the air became colder.
There was a gentle grinding sound of their shoes, which bounced off the stone wall and turned into an eerie echo.
After walking for about a minute, Alan turned around and looked at the entrance to the tunnel, which became a narrow, rectangular yellow light that looked very distant.
The tunnel turned a corner, and the stone wall seemed to enclose them.
"It's so weird," Alan muttered, "where does it lead?"
"Why would anyone dig a tunnel in the wall?" asked Daisy.
She suddenly grabbed Allen's shoulders and didn't let Allen go any further: "Do you want to turn back?"
"Of course not. Alan said decisively.
"I don't want to. She immediately said, "I just want to see if you want to go back." β
They bent along the tunnel, the glow of their wands sweeping across the damp walls. A puddle of water crossed the pavement beneath their feet, and they jumped over.
Then, the tunnel turned again, and Daisy screamed, and Eren froze in placeβ
The girl in red, Miss Clark, appeared standing there with a blank face.
"Don't be afraid. "Alan has a wand in his hand this time, and he has a lot of confidence.
He had already fought her once, and he had already thought of a spell to deal with her, so he naturally wouldn't be soft at this time.
"Necro immobilize!" Allen's wand waved to the upper left.
This is what Alan saw in the Ravenclaw Tower, and it was just right to deal with the girl in red.
Her expression, without a hint of ripple, finally cracked, and she couldn't move, and was frozen in place.
"Who are you?" Daisy asked sharply, calming her pounding heart.
"I'm Clark. The little girl said.
Daisy's eyes lit up, and it was good to be able to communicate!
"Why are you here, and what do you want to do?" she continued.
"I hear your voices, IβI'm going to kick you out of my realm. Clark muttered lowly, as if he were just speaking to himself.
"Why?" Daisy wondered.
"Because I enjoy the feeling of wandering around this manor!" Clark let out a fluttering laugh.
"Last question, how did you die?" Daisy wondered, and on the face of it, she couldn't guess the cause of the little girl's death.
"I was killed, and I don't know why I became the way I was, but it doesn't matter, as long as you leave my realm. β
Clark didn't care at all that Daisy asked about the cause of her death, she had no idea why she had become a ghost.
However, this did not prevent her, she enjoyed her unfettered life in the mansion, and she would find a way to scare away the people who entered the manor.
"Why didn't you hurt us last time?" Alan wondered.
"Josephine has emphasized that I can't hurt you!" Clark was very cooperative and answered all questions.
Sure enough, it has something to do with Aunt Josephine,
"Then why are you driving us away again this time? No, you're trying to kill me this time!" Alan suddenly noticed the contradiction in her words.
Daisy looked at Alan strangely, but Eren ignored it, staring at Clark without blinking.
"The duke said, the others drive away, you have to stay. Clarke's face suddenly showed a look of horror.
"Who is the Duke?" Daisy asked with a smug look at Allen.
"I can't say. Clark was terrified, but he couldn't move from the Necromancy Charm, and looked in great pain.
Daisy's eyes showed a look of intolerance.
Eren pushed Daisy away, and his wand was aimed at Clark.
Daisy couldn't bear it, but she didn't stop Alan's actions, and she believed that her brother wouldn't mess around.
"Dementors!" A strand of silver thread erupted from the tip of Allen's wand and slowly surged towards Clark, wrapping around Clark's head in a circle.
"Is this a receptive thought?" Daisy wondered, how could it not be the same as she knew?
"I once borrowed a book in the forbidden section, 'The Secret of the Soul', and I learned how to use it in that book. β
Seeing that Daisy was still puzzled, Alan explained simply: "It's actually also 'Regent', but the usage is different, this kind is specifically for ghosts." However, it is indeed very effective for detecting the lost memories of ghosts. β
These silver threads had wrapped Clark's head tightly, and gradually emitted a silver light, and scenes were passed along the silk threads to Allen.
After a long time, Eren put down his wand, and his expression also showed strong regret.
"How's that? who is she?" Daisy urged Alan.
A woman's curiosity is always extraordinarily strong.
"She's Clark, a poor man with a great gift for magic who was killed by a vampire. Alan looked at the girl in red with pity.
