Chapter 392: The Source of Good and Evil

"Now that Longji is in danger, I hope she can survive the disaster she deserves. The Queen Mother of the West sighed.

Haotian's eyes finally opened: "I don't have to suffer from her calamity for the rest of her life, I'm afraid that she is used to being willful, and she will be hindered by her cultivation because of her thoughts." Since you're here, I'd better go to Penglai, if it's really inevitable, then there's nothing I can do. ”

Haotian stood up and stepped out in one step, already over thousands of mountains and rivers.

It's not that he can't put it down, but to take a look, that's all.

A man once asked a monk, "What is the most terrible thing in the world?"

The Taoist said, "Desire!" The man's face was full of doubt.

The Taoist said: "Don't believe it, then listen to the poor Tao tell two stories." ”

Jiang Huairen ran from the woods in a panic, and happened to meet two very good friends walking by the forest. They asked the man, "Why are you so flustered?"

Jiang Huairen said: "It's terrible, I dug up a bunch of shellfish coins in the woods!"

The two of them couldn't help but say in their hearts: "This Jiang Huairen is really a big fool! Dig out the shell coin, he actually said such a good thing is terrible, it really makes people understand!"

Then they asked the man, "Where did you dig it up?" ”

Jiang Huairen said: "Aren't you afraid of such a powerful thing? It will eat people!"

The two men said disapprerovingly, "We're not afraid, just tell us where we can find it." ”

Jiang Huairen said: "It's under the tree in the westernmost part of the woods." ”

The two friends immediately went to look for the place, and sure enough, they found the shell coins.

One said to the other: "Jiang Huairen is so stupid, the shell coin that everyone longs for has actually become a cannibal in his eyes." ”

The other nodded yes.

They then discussed how to get the shellfish back.

One of them said, "It's not safe to take it back during the day, it's better to take it back at night, I'll stay here and watch, you go get some food, we'll eat here, and then we'll get it back when it's dark." ”

The other man did as he was told. The man who was left behind thought, "If only I had all these shell coins!" and when he came back, I would beat him to death with a wooden stick, and all these shell coins would be mine. ”

The man who went back to get the food also thought, "I'll go back and eat a full meal, and then poison his food, and if he dies, the shellfish will be all mine." ”

When he returned to the woods with his food, another man beat him to death from behind with a stick, and said, "Friend, I was forced to do this." ”

Then he picked up the food that the man had brought him and ate it in large gulps.

It didn't take long for him to feel very uncomfortable, and his stomach was like a fire, and he knew that he was poisoned, and when he was dying, he said: "What Jiang Huairen, who didn't come to dig shellfish coins, said is really right!"

This is really in line with the proverb: people die for money, birds die for food! It's all the fault of greed, and lust turns the closest friend into a mortal enemy!

There was an old farmer named Ji Ji who wanted to buy a piece of land, and he heard that there was a place where people wanted to sell land, so he decided to go there and ask about it.

As a result, the people in that place told him, "Just pay a hundred shells, and then you will be given a day, counting from the time the sun rises until the sun sets the horizon, and you can circle as much land as you can with steps, and those are yours, but if you can't go back to the beginning, you won't get an inch of land." ”

Ji Ji thought to himself: "If I work hard this day and walk more, wouldn't I be able to walk a lot of circles and get a lot of land? This kind of business is really a good deal!"

So he signed a contract with the locals.

As soon as the sun showed the horizon, he strode forward, and by noon he did not stop at all, but kept walking, thinking, "Endure this day, and then enjoy the rewards of this day's hard work." ”

He went a long way forward, and when the sun was about to go down before he went back, he was very anxious, for if he could not get back not an inch of land, he took a shortcut and hurried to the starting point.

But the sun was about to set, so he had to run as hard as he could, and finally, he was only two steps away from reaching the starting point, but Ji Ji's strength was exhausted and he fell there.

The gap between human desires and reality can never be bridged, because human greed is never-ending and can never be satisfied, which is the greatest defect in human nature.

The number one sin of mental karma is greed.

The Tao Sutra says: "There is no sin in desire, no misfortune is greater than not being satisfied, and there is no desire to be guilty, so the content of contentment is always sufficient."

It means that there is no greater sin than indulgence, no calamity greater than discontentment, and no calamity greater than insatiable greed.

Therefore, only this satisfaction of feeling satisfied is eternal satisfaction.

If you don't seek to get lost, you can't be a husband if you don't want to be virtuous. A hundred years of time is shining, and his life experience is blistering. is only greedy for profit and glory, regardless of the description of darkness and withering. Just ask if the money is like a mountain, and impermanence cannot be bought.

People should put morality first, and should not be greedy for fame and fortune. Greed means greed, greed, greed, greed, and so on.

Greed is the desire for things, and produces insatiable pursuit, possession of psychological desire, the pursuit of material enjoyment, the pursuit of the comfort of the living environment, in the covetousness of excessive material and material desires at the same time, it will inevitably create sin and karma, greed is endless, and the heart is exhausted, do not know that contentment is true happiness.

Throughout the ages, how many greedy people have had a good end, and how many people who are greedy for fame and fortune have died because of this? It is necessary to know that profit is something outside the body, and it is not brought in life or taken away in death.

Let people not be greedy for fame and fortune, not to teach people to avoid fame and fortune, but to let people make practical efforts not to be greedy for fame and fortune in Vanity Fair.

If you can truly understand that greed for fame and fortune can mess with people's nature, fame and fortune can charm people's hearts, fame and fortune can be arrogant, fame and fortune can corrupt people's morality, fame and fortune can indulge people's evil, fame and fortune can hurt people's bodies, and fame and fortune can give people their lives.

Greed for fame and fortune is great suffering, greed for fame and fortune is a fire pit, and greed for fame and fortune is mud.

To do what can be done, what can be stopped.

In the "Tao Sutra", it is said: "The five colors make people blind, the five tones make people deaf, the five flavors make people feel refreshed, and the galloping hunt makes people crazy."

In other words, if there is too much desire, it will turn into greed, and it will blind people and make their hearts crazy.

Some people are crazy about power positions, some people lose themselves because of women, and some people are stupid for money.

Man's greed is fearful, and it often causes people to lose their morality and nature.

When people cling to all things, they will be confused by external things, and they will have a greedy heart, and when the greedy heart is born, it is trouble.

Delusions arise from troubles, causing physical and mental sorrow and pain, so they are subjected to turbidity and insults, drifting in life and death, and forever sinking in the vast and boundless sea of suffering.

Once people fall into the trap of "chasing material desires", it is easy to lose themselves, and it becomes very difficult to get out, so human nature cannot walk with greed.

When the monk had finished these two stories, he closed his eyes and was silent, and the man had already learned the answer from these stories, and it turned out that the most terrible thing in this world was man's desires, and the more desires a person had, the more unsatisfying he would be, the more unhappy he would be, and the more troubled he would be.

Therefore, the Taoist chief has told people: money is like a shackle, greed is a grave, and the pursuit of fame and fortune is only empty in the end.

Only by washing away all kinds of vanity in our hearts, letting go of greed, and returning to the plain essence can we see through all the glory and wealth in the world as if they were passing by, after all, they are all impermanent hues, and finally experience the endless joy of life.

Those who lose shellfish have very little to lose, those who have lost their health have a lot to lose, and those who have lost courage have lost everything.

Almost any fear can be overcome if you are determined to overcome it.

So, remember that fear has nowhere to hide except in the mind.

There was a mountain dwelling house, just after the sixth day of the happy event, the whole family was sacrificing their ancestors, suddenly ran in from the outside a frightened mountain deer, it turned out that this mountain deer was chased by a hunter with a hunting dog, for a while the mountain deer had no way to escape, so he ran into the ancestral table of this family to hide.

At that time, the bride suddenly wondered why a mountain deer would come to her family when she was worshipping her ancestors and offering incense, so she advised Weng Po not to return the mountain deer to the hunter, maybe this mountain deer had some cause with their family, otherwise the mountain area was vast, how could they run into the house to escape, so they had to save the mountain deer.

At that time, the two Weng Po also felt that the bride was reasonable, so they did not want to return the deer to the hunter, but the hunter said: "The mountain deer is what I have chased, although I ran into your house, if I had not led the hunting dog to chase it, the mountain deer would not have appeared, if you do not return the deer, you can buy it at the same price, then I will let the deer." ”

At this time, the hunter and the old master of the mountain dwelling were arguing with each other.

The bride had to ask the hunter, "If you want to buy it, how much will it cost?"

The hunter said, "Twenty shells will do." ”

At this time, when the bride's mother-in-law heard this, she secretly said in her heart: "I married this daughter-in-law, and I only used fifteen shell coins to pay for it, and for a mountain deer, I actually asked for twenty shell coins!"

Weng Po and the two wanted to return the deer, but the bride was very strong in saving the deer, and repeatedly persuaded Weng Po to try to save the deer.

When it was about dusk, the hunter was willing to let the deer at about fifteen shells, and the price was set, but Weng Po's face was difficult, so she secretly said to the bride: "My family welcomes you through the door, and you will use fifteen shell coins, and the others have borrowed four shell coins, so how can my family come to buy a deer with fifteen shell coins?"

At this time, the bride said to Weng Po: "It doesn't matter, as long as the two old people agree to buy deer, you don't have to worry about no shell coins, and the daughter-in-law will voluntarily take out all the fifteen shell coins to buy deer." ”

Of course, when the mother saw that her daughter-in-law was very strong, she agreed to buy the deer, and the hunter returned with shell coins, and the bride summoned the mountain deer from under the table of the god, and turned it over on the head of the mountain deer, and the deer was appeased as if grateful, and jumped a few times, and then disappeared into the mountain.

For a while, the news of the bride's rescue of the deer spread everywhere, and the neighbors all made fun of the bride for being so stupid and using such a huge amount of money to buy a deer for release, especially the bride's family, which was even more reproachful, but the bride didn't care and let the accusations be made.

Two years later, the bride had given birth to a lovely boy who had just turned one year old, and when the family was busy, she placed the child on the nurse's chair in the courtyard.

At this time, the mountain deer reappeared, and with the antlers on his head, he picked up the nurse's chair and the child, circled the courtyard twice, and then ran out with the child in his arms.

When the child's family saw that the deer had stolen the child, they chased it out, and after chasing it out of the mountain, they suddenly heard a loud noise, and looked back, but saw that the mountain behind the house had collapsed, and covered all the house, and the child's family witnessed this scene, and knew that it was the deer who wanted to repay the bride for saving her life, so she lured the family to escape from the difficult area by "stealing the child".

Seeing that his goal had been achieved, the mountain deer gently put the child down, and then ran to the deep mountain, disappearing.

Since the occurrence of the mountain disaster, because the place is covered by the collapse of the mountain, the people who have not suffered have been moved, the place is desolate, and the people are insignificant, but after this touching story happened, people near and far have a deep understanding of the beast is also gnoosis, if it is not for the bride's benevolence that day, and does not hesitate to spend a lot of shell coins to save the life of the deer, then I am afraid that their family will not escape the disaster of the mountain.

If a person has kindness as a foundation, all things and gods will protect him.

There is a peaceful light on the faces of kind people.

People are beautiful because of their kindness.
