Chapter 393: Tianguan

Good is virtue, and those who follow the Tao, although they have no distracting thoughts, so there is a saying of "to the extreme, to keep quiet", in fact, it is to achieve the unity of heaven and man.

That is, what Taishang Laojun Lao Tzu said, "To the void, keep quiet." All things work together, and I watch them return. There are many things and things, and each one returns to its roots. In the final analysis, it is said to be quiet, and quiet is said to return to life. Returning to life is said to be normal, and knowing is often said to be clear. Ignorance, recklessness, ferocity, knowledge, tolerance. Rong is the king, the king is the sky, the sky is the way, the road is long, and the body is invincible. ”

Reach the emptiness of the state of mind, the apex of all thoughts and desires into nothingness, and keep the tranquility of sincerity and faith.

The qi and blood in the body flow endlessly along the meridians, and the world outside the body is also constantly changing and moving.

Seriously understand their cycles, birth, old age, sickness and death, and do the most profound visualization: all living beings have returned to their origins.

Reaching its original origin and observing one's own original mind is called "stillness", and "stillness" is called returning to one's own original nature, natural nature.

Maintaining a pure and natural nature, a pure and inactive mind, is the way to survive for a long time, and it is wise to understand this law and be able to implement it.

If we do not understand this law and act rashly and wantonly, we will encounter danger and danger; if we grasp this law, we will be able to penetrate everything deeply and see everything clearly.

By merging and penetrating, we can reach the realm of the greatest and most positive, the realm of omnipresent, omnipresent, filling heaven and earth, and crisscrossing the ancient and modern, and further the unity of heaven and man: I am heaven and earth, and heaven and earth are me, so as to truly enter the realm of Tao.

Only by following the path can we ensure that we are truly long-lasting, never failing, and never perishing.

The most crucial first step in internal cultivation is to cultivate the soul to be "empty", that is, to "empty the mind". As mentioned earlier, humility means being modest, cautious, and free from subjective prejudices.

It is necessary to clear out the distracting thoughts that are usually on your mind - "upside-down dreams".

Why?

Because if people have distracting thoughts in their hearts, they will produce psychological fluctuations of seven emotions and six desires, and these psychological fluctuations will directly interfere with the normal movement of qi and blood in the body.

This is what Taoist doctors say when they say "anger hurts the liver, joy hurts the heart, sadness of the lungs, fear of hurting the kidneys" and so on.

If a person is in a state of mental unhealth for a long time, then he will inevitably end up with a terrible disease on the most injured organs, intestines, and meridians.

It can be said that nine-tenths of human diseases are caused by not following the rules of nature, and "heart" diseases account for more than half.

If people can maintain a peaceful and natural state of mind, they can have a natural attitude towards everything.

Then the qi and blood in his body will move normally, self-adjust, and self-repair. In fact, everyone has a process of internal repair - sleep, sleep can solve fatigue and can relieve many symptoms.

A person who can maintain a good quality of sleep on a regular basis is definitely a healthy person, and sleep problems are the biggest pain.

Let's talk about fatigue, except for sleep, I don't seem to have heard of any miracle medicine that can solve this problem.

Ordinary people only sleep—passively cultivating internally, and when they fall asleep, they naturally let go of the day's battles and desires.

Only people who are truly wise can take the initiative to meditate. In fact, all we have to do is to keep that normal heart and clean up everything that shouldn't be in our hearts. In this way, there will be no psychological fluctuations of seven emotions and six desires, so the qi and blood that have been disturbed by your own "delusions" can finally operate normally.

Meditation only requires "peace of mind", not external physical cooperation. Is the body useful?

Yes, but at most it's a supporting role. As long as the "mind" is in the right position at all times, whether it is walking, walking, sitting, lying, doing things, reading scriptures, eating, or sleeping, it is all meditation and internal cultivation.

If you can always cultivate your "heart" to "emptiness", you will be able to reach the state of "emptiness" for 12 hours a day.

There is a passage in the Sutra: "Observe the good Dharma day and night, so that the thoughts of the good Dharma increase, and there is no room for the slightest misconduct." ”

The meaning of this sentence is to keep contemplating one's own "heart" for twelve hours of day and night, and to let the "good dharma" gradually grow and grow in one thought after another, and not to let even the slightest bit of bad thoughts get mixed in with it.

At that point, it can be called "Void Extreme".

"Keeping quiet" is to grasp the state of mind, first of all, to be quiet - quiet, quiet, pure, that is, no delusions.

Secondly, we must be honest - honest, open-minded, fearless, for all those who have not come to have "separate delusions", and not to expect and worry about what has not yet come.

In this way, "all things are done together", and people can also "observe their repetition". This "work" of all things is not made by people to "make", but it is originally "made", and the original impetuous "heart" makes people unable to "see", but now it can be "observed".

"Observation" is to ask people to be an "observer" honestly, not to think about what to dominate or command, and the task of people is to maintain the state of "observing and resuming".

What is the "view"?—— "There are many things and things, and each one returns to its roots." "—Something has to go back to the place he came from. Returning to one's roots is called "stillness", which can also be called "resurrection", or "normal".

For the matter of returning to the roots, "quiet" refers to the state, "resumption" refers to the result, and "constant" refers to the rules.

This is the greatest truth, this is "Chang", and "Chang" is "Tao".

Knowing this "Chang", you are a "Ming" person. If we don't know this "constant," we will "act in vain," and in this way we will be "fierce"; only when we know this "constant" can we "tolerate."

It couldn't be simpler.

"Rong is the prince, the prince is the king, the king is the sky, the sky is the way, the road is long, and the body is not destroyed. ”

This is actually a process of "the unity of heaven and man", a process of first "inner saint" and then "outer king", and a process of following the avenue of heaven and earth.

The number of heaven and earth is one yuan in the form of 129,600 years.

It is also divided into 12 branches with one yuan, which are the 12 branches of Naizi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai.

Then this yuan is compared with one day, one will be compared with one branch.

There is an alternation of day and night according to the twelve branches of the day, and the one yuan also alternates with a chaotic time and a clear and refreshing time according to the twelve.

Each element is a reincarnation that gradually evolves from chaos to heaven and earth, regenerates people, beasts, and birds, and then turns from this clarity to chaos.

Although Haotian was a Mixed Yuan Daluo Golden Immortal, as one of the few holy immortals, he had practiced since he was a child, and he had experienced 1,750 eons of suffering, each of which was 129,600 years, and he had cultivated for 226.8 million years! Haotian practiced for ten years before he comprehended the seven levels of becoming an immortal.

Those who have survived the Seven Tribulations can continue to cultivate to the realm of transcendence, and if they cultivate to the limit of the realm of transcendence, they can prepare to survive the final catastrophe: Heavenly Punishment and Thunder Tribulation, if they can't pass it, they will die, they were immortals in the past, and they will not die or die from now on, and they will be ranked in the immortal class.

One is the calamity of illness. When you cultivate to a certain extent, you can bring out the hidden unhealthy states in your body together, and if you come too violently or if your cultivation foundation is not strong, you will die or other harms. If you get through it, you won't get sick in the future unless you have any special circumstances.

2. Lust robbery.

At this level, one's lust will be maximized, and all kinds of desires will arise, especially between men and women. If you can't get through it, you'll go crazy, and you're likely to go crazy, and if you get through, your mind will be hard to shake.

3. Delusional robbery.

This calamity is dangerous, and if a practitioner reaches the delusional tribulation, he will become obsessed with his spiritual world, and all the rules in this world will change according to his own thoughts. If you get through it, you won't be confused by all kinds of illusions in the world, and you will be able to see the world clearly.

The fourth is the Demon Realm Tribulation.

This calamity is dangerous, and in this calamity, people are often inexplicably afraid, and they cannot concentrate on their cultivation. If you can't get over, you'll go crazy and die. Or they lose their concentration while practicing and go mad.

If you overcome yourself, you will no longer have any fear, you will be extremely decisive in your actions, and your judgment will be extremely accurate.

Fifth, the vacuum robbery.

This tribulation is very interesting, in this tribulation, the cultivation is still there, but it cannot be used. It's like a body of mana, but you can't use it.

It's very difficult to pass this calamity, and if you can't get over it, it won't be good, but you can't use the fruits of your cultivation. In the face of this calamity, you must have a normal heart, and after this calamity, your mana will increase greatly.

Sixth, the bone robbery.

This catastrophe is dangerous, in this catastrophe, the body will be recreated, the whole body will be replaced, the hair will fall out, and the flesh will melt. Bone impurities are removed from the body, and new bodies are constantly growing.

If you can't get by, you'll die, and if you can get by, then the new body is the most perfect and has no flaws.

Seventh, the bitter sea tribulation.

This calamity is the saddest thing for people, because during this eon, people are in a state of concentration, and they will have all the experiences, feelings, and thoughts of all past and present lives. All experiences must be received and not paused.

Ordinary people can't get by, and they can live one out of a hundred. Survive this catastrophe and achieve the body of a half-immortal, which can live forever and is not afraid of life and death.

In the above tribulations, each eons will brush off some people, and there are very few people who can survive the seven tribulations, so it is difficult to practice.

Haotian has gone through countless calamities in his life, except for the safety of the Three Realms, other things really can't be seen and confused.
