Chapter 22: Merit
Xingsu didn't expect me to ask such a question, looked at me speechlessly, and then said to me, "Brother, what do you want?" Who told you that those dead ghosts believed in cults? They were all the ghosts they killed, and they took away their souls to cultivate the evil law. Later, some of the people who were chased by the Yin Cha were all placed in Daku Village, after all, the grievances of death were ready to be sent to the city of vain death in batches. β
It seems that Xingsu is indeed quite speechless, and he has changed his name to brother instead of calling the donor. I said in my heart, can you blame me for misunderstanding wrongly, the dead ghost detained by the underworld, that's a matter on the surface, you and I are mysterious, as if there are many great secrets.
I nudged him and motioned for him not to stick so close, and then asked him, "Then how did you mess with people?" Why are the dead ghosts in the Great Bitter Village chasing you? β
Xingsu folded his hands and recited the Buddha's name, and said to me helplessly: "It's not that I provoked them, but I want to save them. β
It turned out that Xingsu was a monk in a temple in the south, and when he was a child, a senior monk passed by his house and said that this child had a deep Buddhist relationship. So, with the consent of his parents, he was taken to a temple to practice Buddhism.

Xingsu has a total of six brothers, and there are four brothers in front of him, all of whom are fetal vegetarians, and they always have some strange behaviors when they are young, and they were later sent by their families to the monks for refuge. After him, the monk accepted another small one, which was his junior brother.
Xingsu said that the six of their brothers and sisters are all practicing the Fa, and here I want to explain that there are also many sects of Buddhism. For example, in the Pure Land sect, many monks only recite Amitabha Buddha all their lives, and they can be reborn in the Pure Land. There are also Tiantai Buddhism, Three Treatise Buddhism, Faxiang Buddhism, Huayan Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Vinaya Buddhism, Tantric Buddhism, and so on.
In fact, there are no high or low Fa, and many people always ask, "Is it better for me to cultivate this Fa or that Fa?" In fact, the Fa can lead to the other side, and if it suits you, you can just believe in it and practice it diligently.
The brothers of the master practice in line with the law and practice the six paths. Starting from the elder brother, they are divided into the Heavenly Humanity, the Asura Path, the Humane Path, the Animal Path, the Hell Path, and the Hungry Ghost Path. Xingsu is ranked fifth, and he happens to be the one who has transformed the Hell Dao.
He passed through the Yin this time because he heard that the underworld had detained a group of horizontal dead ghosts in Daku Village, so he applied the method taught to him by his master, and he came to the underworld to teach the Fa to those horizontal dead ghosts.
I couldn't listen to this anymore, because the more I listened to it, the more it looked like braggΓing, and I pouted and asked Xingsu, "I said brother, what did you say about fasting here?" It's easy to say that humanity is good, it's good to persuade people to be good, and animals can be released in a humane way. The Hell Dao can also be understood, and passing the yin is not a skill against the sky. Your senior brother and second senior brother are Ultraman, huh? Or is it humane? Tell me, how do mortals live up to immortals? Can your second senior brother go to the Asura Realm? How old is your little brother? Can you enter the Hungry Ghost Road? β
Seeing that I didn't believe it, Xingsu shook his head and smiled: "It's not as you understand, the Heavenly Humanity and the Asura Dao have their own methods, and their own mantras. The way of animal life is not so understandable to you, it is good to release animals, but is it considered to be a degree? Now a lot of people in the name of releasing animals sell you turtles and other things, you release them upstream, and he catches them downstream, what's the use? β

Seeing that I seemed to be listening, Xingxu continued to say to me: "What's more, those released are net sale of some Brazilian turtles, and alien species destroy the ecological balance. If you put it into a river, it has no natural predators and eats all the aquatic animals. β
It was the first time I had heard this kind of statement, and I smiled and said to him, "Yo, I can't see it, I know a lot." β
"That's it." Xingsu was proud again, and said to me: "How can you say that the poor monk also went to university and received higher education. β
"What's that?" I wasn't sure if I had heard me wrong, so I asked him, "Didn't you say you were a monk?" Why are you still going to college? β
Xingsu smiled and said to me: "The donor is not in good shape, why can't the monk go to school, not only me, but our senior brothers and sisters have been driven down the mountain to go to school by the two teachers and ancestors when they reach their age." You see the way I look, this is my Fa Phase, I'm not home yet, actually, I'm a sophomore now. I only go back to the temple during the winter and summer vacations, and I have to shave my head again, and I currently have hair in my body. β
I asked him to tell me for a moment, but he thought I didn't think about it, and explained to me: "Let's put it this way, what many people in the world think of monks now, that's what they think in their hearts. For example, a monk with a mobile phone is fake, and a monk who drives a car is fake. In fact, the times are advancing, didn't monks write letters before? Didn't the monks of the past ride horses? It's just that times have changed, and so have the tools. Could it be that those of us who are monks rely on shouting for communication and walking for transportation? β
I was a little amused when I heard Xing Su complaining, and it happened that I had a lot of doubts about cultivating the Buddha in my heart, so I asked him, "So as you just said, that kind of release does not accumulate merit and creates karma, so how can it be realized?" β
After listening to my question, Xingsu shook his head for a long time and said to me, "I haven't figured this out, for example, the snake is catching a mouse, if you don't save it, the rat will bleed, and I feel sad." If I am saved, the serpent will starve to death, and my heart will still be miserable. But if I take the theory of cause and effect and say that the rat's eating by the snake is a proof of his evil retribution, then with such an idea, is there no need for anyone to save and no one to save it? β
I was originally asking him, but why did he ask me, I want to understand what else I am asking you for? It can be seen that the mustache is really tangled, and he keeps muttering there.
I patted him and said to him, "You don't care about the Dharma for a while, tell me why you were chased by those dead ghosts, and then send me back to the capital city." β
(The starting point is the first release, supports the genuine version, book friend group: 152691809)
"Hey, maybe I haven't reached the chance to understand it yet, too, when I am fully enlightened, it will be done." Xingsu's face was a little depressed, and he sighed to himself.
Immediately afterwards, he had that seemingly kind and kind look on his face, and he was a little unassuming.
He smiled and told me that in fact, most of their methods of practicing the six realms relied on scriptures to dedicate themselves. There are scriptures with great wishing power that are dedicated to the six realms, and no matter which one of the sentient beings recites, it will be transformed into the good cause of the blessed sentient beings.
I see, I understand. Saving heaven and humanity, that is to say, he must recite a sutra to return to heaven and humanity, if a relatively low-grade immortal in the sky has a discriminating mind, he may have to taste coolness at this time. Take the Hell Dao as an example, it is equivalent to a meeting of high monks and organizing a group of people to recite scriptures. In fact, they did not pass through the yin, but transcended it in the yang.
In this case, I asked Xingsu: "Then according to what you say, you can just recite the scriptures, why are you still in the yin?" β
"Because I can't figure it out." Xingsu sighed and said to me, "I don't know how my chanting and dedication work, and we mortals can't see cause and effect. So after learning that the village was full of dead ghosts, I decided to come down and save them personally. You don't know the current underworld, they don't know that they can enter the dead city in the Year of the Monkey and the month of the horse. I want to follow the example of Jizo Bodhisattva and go to hell in person, starting small. β
I was really speechless after listening to him, I frowned and said to him, "You really want to be blind, you are a Buddha cultivator, it is impossible not to know, although you are a novice, you are still a mortal." The Buddha has 32 phases, and the holy king of the wheel has four virtues, all of which have one point, that is, the appearance is unsurpassed. Why do the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas turn evil ghosts into evil ghosts and listen to the lectures honestly, why do they chase you and fight after you when you come to talk about the Fa? β
This is what my master told me at the time, people can only live with fate. That is to say, if a person has a Buddha fate in his life, and you actually enlighten him in the right way, he will follow this fate and embark on the Buddha path.
Some of them are long-term returns, which means that such people have Buddha fate, but karma is also hindering. You will be led by your own behavior, and slowly he will understand.
But the most of them are not returned, and the five turbidities and evil worlds are evil, so the karma is deep. If you pull someone and talk non-stop, not only will he not believe it, but he will also think that those who believe in Buddhism are mentally ill. On the contrary, they began to slander the Dharma, and prompting others to slander the Dharma is the same as instigating others to kill people, and you are more retributional than him.
Even, a person who originally had a Buddha fate, how many years later he may have a fate, and he felt happy to see a certain virtuous monk, and he embarked on the path of Buddhism. If you happen to be grinding and chirping before this, you will give him a long talk about popularizing the law. It is estimated that this road will be cut off directly, so the statement is not lightly spread.
At that time, I felt that what Master said was too profound, so I asked him, "Why do Buddhas and Bodhisattvas teach the Dharma, or why do many eminent monks teach the Dharma, and people listen to it with an open mind?" Why can't ordinary people?
At that time, my master told me about the issue of merit and Buddha statues, and the monks who have attained virtue naturally have merit, so naturally those who see it are happy. This is the same as going to an interview, you will feel uncomfortable, what kind of self-introduction do you make next, is it still useful?
"Meritorious?" Xing Su was stunned for a moment when he heard this, and after a long time, he suddenly realized: "Yes, I see, I see." β
I couldn't get angry when I saw him dancing, I didn't understand such a simple truth, and I went down to die a ghost. There is no steady energy at all, and he will talk for a while, and he will be a fool for a while.

I patted him and motioned him not to get too excited, so I told him, "Give me your mobile phone number, and then send me back to the city." β
Xingsu was stunned for a moment, and asked me with a wary face, "What are you going to do?" What do you want my phone number for? β
"You think that's all there is to it? I have to go back to your master and say, if you don't say it, it's no problem, I'll find out. I threatened.
I didn't expect Xingsu to be very happy, so he told me his mobile phone number directly, and then asked me for my mobile phone number. I told the number before I reacted and asked him, "What do you want my number for?" β
Xingxu smiled and said to me: "I'm not going to have a holiday soon, our temple is also from the Northeast, I think we have a fate, I want to save you." β
Lao Tzu lives well, use you?
