Chapter 283: The Way of Tenderness

Yingsheng, Blind Immortal, Yuanchen, Zhenjikang, Feng Taihe, Lijian, Hengtong and Blind Immortal are all the same kind of people, good at showing weakness and good at hiding.

The Tao Jing uses water as a metaphor for the "Tao", and uses the weakness and tenacity of water to describe the characteristics of the "Tao". Always emphasize the need for selfless dedication, selflessness is selfishness, desire to be weak, dedication is to pay the desire and strength to be strong.

The spirit of selfless dedication is a characteristic of the Tao that originates from the origin of all things.

Why do those who have a selfless spirit of dedication always be full of vigor and strength when they do things?

Because their mental state conforms to the characteristics of the original "Dao" of all things, in order to succeed in life, one must turn the weak Dao nature into one's inner quality, always remember that you want to be worth your money, and always think that you have done much more than you can imagine. In this way, the person is not too far from success.

There are many unsatisfactory and unhappy things in life, and at this time, patience is very important.

Many times it is very unworthwhile to harm big things because of small things.

Maintaining a position of weakness is the application of the Tao. The opposite of the prosperity of all things in the universe - the place of tranquility and softness often contains infinite vitality. Things always move to the opposite, the yin pole is yang, the yang disappears and the yin grows, and the object pole must be opposed.

So the trick to solving the problem is to start with the opposite or opposite direction of things.

Therefore, cultivating immortals should learn to "be strong and weak;" and "know their males, guard their females, be the world's streams, know their glory, guard their humiliation, and be the world's valleys," streams and valleys are said to be modest and weak.

When you don't want fate to rule you, but you don't have the ability to hold fate by the throat, remember to learn to be patient.

Only by enduring until the last moment will unexpected changes occur, and there will be hope to see a turnaround. Perhaps the immortals are still yearning for smooth sailing, but in the face of twists and turns in life, the so-called smooth sailing can only be a kind of comfort for the soul, and only by constantly striving can they become the masters of their destiny. And in this step-by-step effort, you must learn to be patient.

Patience is not to be submissive, to succumb to the domination and dispatch of the god of fate, to let the vicissitudes of the years wear away their pursuit little by little and fall short, this is because they do not understand the true meaning of patience, and perseverance to pursue and eliminate all difficulties and surpass is patience.

Patience is not a passive decadence, nor is it a quiet lowering of the sails of faith; patience is a way to test will, perseverance, and success.

Weakness is the Taoist doctrine of self-cultivation and life, "the soft is better than the strong, the weak is stronger than the strong" and "the life of a person is also weak, and his death is also strong". Therefore, it is very necessary for Taoists to believe in the Tao and learn the Tao, and to regulate and practice themselves with weak doctrines and thoughts.

On the road to success, we will inevitably have misunderstandings and frictions with others, and if we don't pay attention, hatred will quietly grow, and eventually lead to blocking the road to success.

Therefore, the immortals must remember to fill their bag of hatred with tolerance, so that there will be less trouble and more opportunities.

People should be tolerant, let their minds be as quiet and far-reaching as water, tolerate everything, and can also dissolve everything. To be tolerant of others means to be broad-minded, patient, generous and tolerant to others.

A person who is usually generous can work together when things are going well, and people will help him when things are difficult. Everyone's achievements are inseparable from their own efforts. But if you don't have tolerance, you won't be able to see this, you won't be able to handle relationships well, and you'll lose the opportunity to learn from the good in others.

People who are kind to others and willing to pay for others will not damage themselves because of their contributions, but will get more rewards for themselves.

Therefore, a person's heart should be tolerant, loving and kind, not caring about their own gains and losses, and leaving a broad path for others is actually leaving a way for themselves.

Therefore, people should give a large amount of love, kindness, tolerance, and help to others in line with the true meaning of "God has no relatives, and is always with good people". Make people's "way of man" and "way of heaven" combined in a "good" word, and good is "good to man with heaven, in order to be in harmony with people", can be good at self and the way, with real kindness to follow the law of things, tolerant and calm to treat everything in front of you, resolve contradictions, win friendship, take the initiative to care for and help others.

People who are "tolerant and kind-hearted" are more likely to succeed.

Whether in nature or in human society, there are all kinds of rivals everywhere, there is fierce competition, this is natural, there is no reproach, the important thing is how people should face it?

When facing a competitor, one should be clear about who the real opponent is, who should compete with it, and who will be the one to be defeated.

Everyone knows that victory requires a kind of upliftment, and the excitement that promotes continuous progress comes from people's effective control over themselves, that is, "self-victory is strong." "So the real opponent is yourself, what you want to compete is the inner interference that hinders your success, and what you want to overcome is your own weakness.

Single-mindedly trying to defeat the other party is "promising", and this is by no means a wise move.

The sudden change in the wind and cloud will make people's spirit in tension, resulting in psychosomatic internal friction, gains and losses, which is not conducive to objectively looking at the problem and the normal play of ability, do not want to defeat the other party, but regard themselves as opponents, and constantly keep their hearts in a sober state, which can effectively overcome their weaknesses, can calmly adapt to objective changes, so as to "do nothing and do nothing." ”

Therefore, if you want to succeed, you must not focus on success and victory over the other party, but pay attention to keeping your heart quiet and inactive, indifferent to success and victory, and face it with the mentality of "inaction", so as to maximize your ability, so that you can "do everything." ”

Once you win, it means the misfortune of the other party, so you should treat it with a funeral. Therefore, it is very humane to deal with things with the principle of "Tao", not to avoid victory, but not to regard victory as supreme.

In reality, people should not always take victory so seriously, but should also give the opponent the necessary care, and giving the opponent the necessary care is the demeanor of the real success.

"Jiang Hai can be the king of a hundred valleys, and he can be the king of a hundred valleys because of his goodness. "The demeanor of a successful person is not the only sign of victory, that is, he is at a disadvantage, or he has failed, but he still has the calmness that comes from the heart.

"Fu Mo's life, and often natural", in fact, such a mentality is a successful mentality.

Obviously, such a mentality is based on charity and love, so the essence of "winning without fighting" is still due to people's inner charity.

Does the definition of success mean earning more shellfish, being in a high position and holding a lot of power?

In the Tao Sutra, this is only "the power of the victorious", which does not necessarily mean success, it may also represent the possession that comes from being dominated by greed and indifference, it may be a slave to desire, and therefore it is not success in the sense of "Tao".

"Tao Jing" says: "The self-victor is strong, and the Tao is natural." ”

"Living in a good place, having a good heart, being kind and benevolent, being good in words, good in governance, good in doing things, and good in moving, the husband is not in dispute, so there is no especially. ”

Meaning: live in a place where others don't go, don't show off, don't stand out yourself, feel comfortable and far-reaching, often give kindness to others, be honest and amiable, have a strong ability to deal with things, go out and be good at choosing the right time, don't fight with others, so you are carefree.

Isn't a person who has attained such a state considered a success?

When people can manage their thoughts correctly and manage their coins and time correctly, this is success.

Correctly managing one's mind means "one is not cut" and "the one who wins is strong", while the correct management of one's own shell coins means frugality, benevolence and foresight, and the correct management of one's time means wisdom, hard work and trustworthiness.

This is a person with a very high level of morality, emotional intelligence, intelligence and ability, and this is success in the sense of "Tao"!

Therefore, the most important criterion for success is to have something that does not change with the environment, shellfish, power, or status, but only belongs to some kind of tenacity in the quality of the mind.

The one who can do this is a true saint, and although the blind fairy is not perfect, his heart is strong enough to surpass the five-colored heavens.
